Try "On the Ride" by Aly & AJ

. i got a used computer and the person who had it before me like went to porn websites and its just gross. and when i typed "teen" because i was looking for websites for teens, all this stuff about naked girls/guys came up, so how do i make it go away, i have an apple laptop. i reset safari and i cleared the cookies and stuff but how do i make that stuff like not show up when i search anymore?
thank you so much. i will rate.

I've had this problem before. Ugh. Anyway, there's a button, I think it's under bookmarks or history. It says "clear history" click on it and that should solve your problem... I thik that it deletes the memory of ever going to those websites. Also, If you google search, next to the search bar is an underlined "preferences". Click on it and you can choose a safesearch where anything sexually explicit won't usually show up in the search. Hope I helped!

i have servere dry lips what can i do?ive tried chapstick vaseline neosporin everything possible what can help? also i tried that toothbrush thing where you scrub your lips nothing has helped please help me !! thanks (link)
|
Try this: after you brush your teeth, put some vasaline on your lips and rub gently with the toothbrush. Do this every time you brush your teeth for a couple of days and see if it starts to work for you. There's also an amazing chapstick called Bert's Bees that will really help if you apply it a couple times a day. It can heal and protect your lips against weather. You can get it at bookstores usually, like Hasting's or Barnes & Noble. I would also suggest keeping a glass of water with you at all times and sipping it every so often... you may be dehydrated. Good luck!

What clothing stores have a bohemian, unique, creative style? Preferably cheap because I have a budget.
Also, thrift stores. There's a lot of unique shirts and whatnot in there. If you like something in there and it's not your size. [Large for example] What are some crafty ways to make it fit? Any craft/DIY [do it yourself] sites with tutorials? Like turning a normal shirt into a halter top. (link)

I just googled T-Shirt transformation nad this is what I got:

Generation T: 108 Ways to Transform a T-Shirt
T-Shirt Makeovers: 20 Transformations for Fabulous Fashions
99 Ways to Cut, Sew, Trim, and Tie Your T-Shirt into Something Special

I've been waking up feeling panicked and terrified for the last few weeks-every night. The thing is.. I don't remember the majority of my nightmares. I will remember a couple of horrifying pieces, but that's it. I will wake up shaking, sweating, heart pounding, and terrified. I'm not stressed or ANYTHING, I'm perfectly healthy other than the nightmares. So, does anyone know what's going on? Am I having night terrors instead of nightmares?
P.S. This is effecting me when I'm awake. I'm frightened all the time, especially when I'm alone. It's also causing me to lose sleep. (link)
|
I have heard that temperature can sometimes affect a person's dream. It may be too hot in your room during the night- I would suggest turning a fan on, opening a window, throwing off the covers, ect.
Also, it helps a lot of people to read a calm book before turning out the light. Try to stay away from scary movies or stories because a lot of the time, dreams have to do with the stuff we think about in our everyday lives.
When you're alone in the dark, it's easy to imagine all sorts of things in the shadows. You can help yourself to calm down with a night light- and no, they're not just for little kids. Fear of the dark is something a lot of people face, and even if you're not afraid of dark, it may help you calm down.
One last thing that helps a lot of people is to hum a happy tune when they're afraid and focus on the words of the song. I hope that I was a help- Have a restful night!

Does anyone know where they sell these? I can't find them anywhere. Kat von D wears them also on Miami Ink. I really, really want one! HELP!
Here's the photo:

I don't know where they sell those headbands, but you can make one for yourself easily. All you need is an old T-shirt (something that stretches), some scissors, and fabric glue or needle and thread. Make sure that the T is the color and texture that you want. Cut three long strips of material for braiding (1.5 feet is great), but make sure that you have enough to roll into a small tube. Glue or sew the long edges together and let dry. The next step is simple- just braid the strands together, keeping the glued edges on only one side of the braid. If you don't know how to braid, go to dreamweaverbraiding.com and go for the "basic three strand braid". When you're done, wrap the headband around your head once and tie off. This is reusable and fit to you!
If you want a headband that will stay in place better, You could always take a cheap, thin plastic headband and glue the braid on so the plastic is hidden.
Hope I helped and good luck with your headband!

I'm 15/f and I pretty much have the flexibility of a 50 year old [no offense] haha. I mean, I can touch my toes with my legs straight but that's about it.
I've been really interested in improving my flexibility and somewhat towards contortion for about two years now, and I have done absolutely nothing to work on it [School kept me up until 2AM. I didn't really have time but to eat, sleep, and go to sleep] Anyways, I was thinking of working on the two for the rest of summer, which isn't much left, but I'll continue to work on it as much as I can even when school starts.
Anyways, I was looking to self-train myself. I know that I should never push myself or I'll get hurt and etc, etc. My mom won't let me learn to be one because of money issues and also because she'll think I'll tear everything in my body. But I was wondering if it was possible for me to start at age 15 & self train myself to do splits, bridge, straddle, etc. And also, does anyone know a great site that helps with self-training beginner contortionists? I've already found learningcontortion.com

Yoga stretches will be great to get you started... they will help all of your muscles become flexible and strong. Try
http://yoga.about.com/od/yogaposes/An_Index_of_Yoga_Poses.htm
I suggest stretching after exercise or a hot shower. That way your muscles are loose and more flexible, also less likely to tear. Be careful when you stretch- only stretch until you can feel a little pain, NO MORE. Good luck!

hi. i am 15 years old and looking for some websites online that will teach me basic routines. i dont want to have to pay to use the sites. im looking for solo dancing, anything along the lines of ballet, hip-hop, jazz, modern, and contemporary is fine. i was wondering if anyone knew good websites that will teach you routines? also, if anyone has suggestions for dvds w dance routines and such. please and thank you. (link)
|
Well, you could always try searching for the type of dance you want on YouTube.com. A lot of the time, people will post their routines and/or ways to do different moves. It's not hard, there's a search bar on the home page you can use. Also check out your public library- there are usually good movies and books. Good luck!

Well I'm a total "Christ Lover" and I really want my friends to be too. My friends get so annoyed when I talk about Jesus. But I really care about them, and they won't even try to go to church. My church is an awesome church for teenagers, so it's not one of the boring ones for old people. But anyways, how do I get my friends to love Jesus as much as I do. Even when they wont try.
any advice appreciated....
Love.Rachel (link)
|
Well, there's really no way to MAKE them love Jesus. I suspect that they might be tired of your enthusiasm to share what Christ has to say. But follow what Jesus teaches and does. They will be able to see that you are good and they may want to find out what makes you so different. Invite them to come to church with you, and they will come when they're ready. Good luck!

Please only absolute answers!
My dog has an inflammed area on her front paw and she wont stop biting it. Would anti-biotic ointment help?
Can I even put in on my dog, would it hurt her? (link)
|
We used some antibiotic ointment on my cat, so it should be okay. But make sure to cover it- wrapping the paw with an athletic tape or an ace bandage is a great way to keep your dog from biting or disturbing it.

Me and my significant other want to eventually get married. The other night I was talking to her about it and she told me about an old Celtic ceremony. In this ceremony the bride and groom draw blood from their palm and join the 2 wounded hands. When they join hands a cloth is then wrapped around them as a seal to the bond. I'm looking for something that can help me verify this information. Any links are greatly appreciated, books would also be a great help.

All the sources that I saw didn't mention any blood, just tying the bride and groom's hands together.

14/F- I have my life pretty much planned out at this point. I want to become a cardiac surgeon and once I get at that point I want to open a over night spa and i want it to be big ( while Im still a cardiac surgeon)do you think my dream is to much or do you think I should go for it-Thanks (link)
|
GO FOR IT! Nothing is too big or too hard- you can do anything! I would suggest meeting a lot of people and making contacts. Why not start now? Keep in touch with them, help them with whatever they need, and you may be able to get their help in return someday. It's great that you know where you're going- but also be open to changes that might happen in your career choice. Stick with it!

people say we become our parents.. does anyone agree or disagree with this?
moreover, do people tend to grow up and marry someone like their parent (of the opposite gender)? (link)
|
Well, there is a huge tendancy for people to act like their parents as they grow older- it's what they know. And I would also agree that it's really likely for someone to marry a person like their parent. But, a person can change that round if they want to, making a conscious decision about it and sticking to it.

I just found out my boyfriend does Dip
Im not really sure what that is, and I'm soo confused why he would do it! What are the cons of it, and can anyone explain what I should do about it? He doesn't know I know... (link)
|
Dip is a form of smokeless tobacco That comes in a small tin. It's sometimes called chew, snuff, spit, and plug. It is put directly in the mouth (usually between the lower teeth and lip). It has nicotine just like a cigarette and can be highly addicting. It can cause cancer in the mouth. Tell him that you know about it, and tell him that you care about him and don't want him to get hurt. There really is no way that you can make him stop, but tell him about some of the dangers of it. Here's an address to a page that will give you more info on it.

I hope that it all works out.

i have really baggy eyes, and im really young. im 15/f. does anyone know how to get rid of bags under your eyes, and dont say sleep please because ive tried to get a lot of sleep and they dont go away. thanks in advance. (link)
|
Somje people don't have bags under their eyes- that skin is just thinner than in the rest of their face, so the blood vessels show through. It's not uncommon. One of my friends that had this problem used a concealer that matched the rest of her face to hide it. I've also heard that witch hazel will help to shrink blood vessels a little.
But if they are actually BAGS under your eyes, try to alter your diet a little... less salt and more water. It could also be allergies or high blood pressure. The place that I got this info from is
http://www.howtogetridofstuff.com/health/how-to-get-rid-of-puffy-eyes/
Copy the link and go to the site if you need more info. It has several ways to get rid of it.
Good luck- hope I helped!

I'm really sorry, but I don't understand what you are talking about... I'll need some more background- what about this guy? Boyfriend? Ex? Who is "he"? What did you do with "him"? I don't have enough info to give you an answer- you'll have to ask again, more clearly please.
Hey! What's up with the 2? I was trying to help, I didn't know what you were talking about! The least you could do is explain again. Your question didn't make any sense to me at all.

hi, everyone.
i'm trying to lose weight and i was wondering if you guys think this will help at all:
exercise:
monday/wednesday/friday-running at six in the morning. about the miles. only walking a little.
100 curlups, 60 pushups.
might go running at the beach, this week.
alot of swimming (like wading, doggie paddle, ect)
diet:
i havent had much of an appetite lately, but here goes, aha.
breakfast-honey bunches of oats with milk before running. sometimes skip breakfast.
lunch-varies. probably just a sandwhich. when i go to the beach, it will be pizza or a chicken sandwhich.
dinner-home cooked stuff. fairly fatty. like, 15+ grams of fat for the meal, i'm guessing..
snacks-i'm trying to cut out snacks, but once again, at the beach, i'll probably cheat alot. other than that, i eat fruit, ect.
drinks-trying to drink all water. orange juice.
so will this help me lose weight?
how many grams of fat should i allow at each meal?
also, SHOULD i lose weight. i'm 4'11 and 99 pounds.
thanks for help. i'll rate. (link)
|
I can't tell you for sure what the right weight is for you, but if you're trying to lose fat, I will make a few suggestions.
First off, realize that this routine will make you lose fat. But probably not weight. You will build muscle... you may even weigh more at the end of your diet, who knows?
Second, never skip breakfast. Never! It would be good to have some protein in the morning, like quick scrambled eggs or something.
Also, this doesn't really sound like a diet, more like an exercise program. And that's fine, but if you are going with the diet part, try to keep your meals balanced. How about an apple with that sandwich?
And the snack thing. It's okay to have a snack to ward off hunger pangs. Yogurt, trail mix, and cheese are all good options.
Hope I helped, and I hope you feel better about your body soon!

this is going to sound really wierd, but do you know hannah montana's hair? she has like very loose curls and such and i was wondering if anyone knows how i can get them. i have REALLY thick hair and its guess you could say medium length. i have used hot rollers but they never seem to stick. thanks (link)
|
You could use a hot blow dryer and a round brush like rollers. There are a lot of inexpensive products tath help curl to stick as well. If your hair doesn't hold curl very well, try using a tight curling iron and let the curl fall out. Good luck with that!
|
this is going to sound really stupid but how do you make a bun with your hair? i wrap it around the ponytail once then make the bun, but it always falls out when i run no matter what kind of hair tie i use. i have normal (kinda on the thick side) hair. ahh how do i do it? thanks so much. (link)
|
YOu could follow the other guy's advice, with the bobby pins and hairspray, or you could try a messy bun. You start out with a ponytail and then you muss it up. You take your other ponytail holder and wrap it- not just around, but in, on top of, any placee it will go.
http://www.ksopa.com/sitebuilder/images/messy_bun-115x115.png
Copy that and put it into your adress bar... it's a picture of a messy bun.
They can be really cute and it doesn't even matter if they fall out a bit.

Okay so heres the deal.. Ive been talking to this guy for a month now.. its going great.. he lives in Virginia.. he came down on Saturday night to see his family and see me too.(hes here for a visit for a week). We met on Sunday.. Had a great time.. and the next day I asked him if he wanted to do something on Tuesday.. he said he dont think hes doing anything but he will let meknow.. ok.. day goes by.. next day I ask him.. wondering if u still wanted to do something today.. didnt respond to that but he tells me that hes soo tired went to the border yesterday(monday) and had to renew something and that he came back at 4 in the morning..took him 7 hrs to get there and that he is exhausted.. I had mentioned that he shud rest so that tomarrow he will be refreshed.. and he agreed.. and then went offline. My question to you is....do u think its wise to ask him if he wants to see me again.. honestly speaking? or am I jumping the gun too quickly.. (link)
|
I would give him enough time to rest and ask him about it in the late morning or even in the afternoon. I think that it's totally fine to ask him. He sounds like he will give you an honest answer and not get mad, even if he still is tired. You might come up with some suggestions of things to do together that don't require a lot of energy, like watching a movie or taking a walk together. Good luck, hope it works out!
