Question Posted Friday August 10 2007, 5:12 am

What clothing stores have a bohemian, unique, creative style? Preferably cheap because I have a budget.

Also, thrift stores. There's a lot of unique shirts and whatnot in there. If you like something in there and it's not your size. [Large for example] What are some crafty ways to make it fit? Any craft/DIY [do it yourself] sites with tutorials? Like turning a normal shirt into a halter top.

I don't know about *particular* stores that sell exclusively bohemian stuff, since it's sort of universal to different store/brands. I mean, if bohemian is the flavour of the month, then of course it stands to reason that EVERYONE will be selling it. Right?

One of the BEST places for altering clothes, bar none, is [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). It's a forum-based community that stands on a DIY ethos, and you'll find plenty of tutorials and helpers.

Also, last but not the least - pick up a good sewing handbook.

Hope this helps!
