hi, everyone.
i'm trying to lose weight and i was wondering if you guys think this will help at all:
exercise:
monday/wednesday/friday-running at six in the morning. about the miles. only walking a little.
100 curlups, 60 pushups.
might go running at the beach, this week.
alot of swimming (like wading, doggie paddle, ect)
diet:
i havent had much of an appetite lately, but here goes, aha.
breakfast-honey bunches of oats with milk before running. sometimes skip breakfast.
lunch-varies. probably just a sandwhich. when i go to the beach, it will be pizza or a chicken sandwhich.
dinner-home cooked stuff. fairly fatty. like, 15+ grams of fat for the meal, i'm guessing..
snacks-i'm trying to cut out snacks, but once again, at the beach, i'll probably cheat alot. other than that, i eat fruit, ect.
drinks-trying to drink all water. orange juice.
so will this help me lose weight?
how many grams of fat should i allow at each meal?
also, SHOULD i lose weight. i'm 4'11 and 99 pounds.
one thing that you need to change is to ALWAYS eat breakfast.
breakfast is very important, but of course, make it healthy.
pizza is deffinatly not good for losing weight. try not to eat too much of that. try and eat more fruits.
dinner seems fine, i think.
and drinks, just make sure you drink that water!

First off, realize that this routine will make you lose fat. But probably not weight. You will build muscle... you may even weigh more at the end of your diet, who knows?
Second, never skip breakfast. Never! It would be good to have some protein in the morning, like quick scrambled eggs or something.
Also, this doesn't really sound like a diet, more like an exercise program. And that's fine, but if you are going with the diet part, try to keep your meals balanced. How about an apple with that sandwich?
And the snack thing. It's okay to have a snack to ward off hunger pangs. Yogurt, trail mix, and cheese are all good options.

Right now, you are under the specifications for what weight you should be at for your height.
If you have a small frame, you should be from 103-113 pounds. If you have a medium frame, you should be from 111-123, and if you have a large frame, you should be from 120-134 pounds.
I wouldn't try really hard to lose weight, but I'd try to build muscle instead. Try doing some weight training and such, rather than cardio, since cardio is more associated with burning calories and losing weight, rather than building muscle. At your stature, you don't need to be losing any weight, though. But with weight training, you can reach a higher metabolism which will help you lose extra weight and calories if you're ever worried about your health.
