sometimes if you put gel in ur hair when it's wet it will keep that effect but i'm not sure what else you could do--hope i helped

hey i am like a punk kid. and i really dont like preps very much. but my mom is like anti-punk and loves preps. and she is really into the "preppy" clothes and attitude and all that good stuff. lol. ok well thats NOT me but how do i tell her without her freaking out. i mean i want to get my tongue pierced and my ears pierced a lot. but my mom is just not understanding for my personality. people tell me "Be yourself who cares what others think" but how can you be yourself when your mother is making you another. how do i try to show my mom that i am not like her? i am going through the exact same problems you are.. if you get good grades and respect them most of the time they'll let you do what u want but if you treat them like a punk ass then they won't let you.. just try and treat ur mom really nice and try to explain to her that ur not like her.. hope i helped

Ok - my uncle hits on me at almost every family gathering. It really bothers me! I told my mom and she said she'd try to help me, but I still feel so uncomfortable around him. He's always staring at me and winking, and saying that I'm hot!

try to avoid ur uncle as much as possible.. if he ever touches you or nething go straight to the police.. maybe you could even be so suttle to tell him to shut the hell up or stop what he's doing lol.. that's probably the most effective thing you can do.. hope i helped..

ok my dad and stepmom are getting divorced. i dont live with them, so it shouldn't bother me as much as it does, and i dont know it's just a big problem. i'm afraid i'll never see my stepmom again once they get divorced, and i don't want that to happen. I got really close to her and i love her, she's almost like a sister to me. i know i cant' stop them from getting divorced, but how can i get through this and still be happy and have a good outlook on things? i'm normally an optomistic person, and i want to stay that way. i don't expect never to be sad, but what are some ways to deal with this? i went through a divorce a few years ago with my real parents, but i dont know how to get through it again. thanks in advance to everyone who helps. love ya! ok hun ur right u can't avoid it.. the best thing you can do is sit down with ur step mom and tell her how much you care about her and tell her that you know she's going through a lot but ur going through a lot too and tell her you still want to keep in touch with her and see her a lot.. maybe the three of you should sit down and talk about the issues and talk about everyone being comfortable with you being in touch with ur step mom.. i think that could really help..hope i helped

umm personally.. i've never used a vibrater and i don't really know of nething u could use as a substitute but really u shouldn't be that embarrased to buy one cuz tons of people do.. my mom has one (ew ew ew lol) but still it's totally normal to want one so i think just go to ne adult store and u can get one.. hope i helped

My friend Harmony is always telling me that I need to let God into my life and look to him as a source of comfort. I believe that God exists, but I have doubts about whether he really cares or not. I feel like she trying to force me to believe like she does. I respect the fact that she is strong in her faith, but I don't neccesarily want to talk about it with her. She gets really offended when I say something that she doesn't think is right. When I told her that I didn't want her to tell me to go to God for guidance, she got angry and told me that at least she knew that she couldn't be open with me anymore. Am I wrong for asking her to not talk about this? How to I tell her that I would rather not talk about God without offending her? (link)

there's nothing wrong with what u did.. everyone finds God at their own time.. i was close to not believing at all for a while and then i went to work at a christian camp and seeing all those people there and how happy and kind they were made me start to believe.. there would be days i didn't think i could make it through and i just started to pray and i automatically started to feel better.. everyone finds God at their own time and it's ok if u haven't.. like i said i just found him recently.. but ur friend needs to understand that.. explain to her that it's wonderful that she has such faith but it may take u a while to be able to believe as much as her..if she doesn't understand then that is just her problem and she's not being a very good friend.. hope i helped

Guys can be totally confusing.. trust the girl who's had 5 boyfriends in the past 2 years and gone out with a few of them multiple times.. it's very hard to understand what a guy really wants from you. he could have just been flirting with you cuz he was mad at his gf at the time or he could just want to be friends.. i had this really great guy friend and i messed it up by telling him i liked him in a romantic sense and he didnt' feel the same. i think that he just wants to be good friends with you and feels as if you two are good friends and that's why ur feeling he likes u in a different way. sometimes when girls don't have a lot of guy friends and guys tend to treat them badly (aka me haha) then when a guy treats them finally like a person and a good friend they feel as if the guy has feelings for them.. i'm so sorry it has to be crushing that he doesn't like u as more and i know what it's like.. but i think it would be great to use the friendship to ur advantage u know.. he's got guy friends..... haha.. hope i helped hun!

my mom has a deformed uterus. Less than like 3% of women in the US have it. I forget the exact name but its soo bad that her gyno. is surprised she had 2 kids. She had 13 misscarriages before she had me. Ne way my doctors seems to think this is genetic but we don't know for sure if its genetic in my family because all the females on my mom's side has had their female parts removed. My mom gets cysts on her overies too. When my mom told me this I was like I want to be checked. But she was like don't worry your 16. I don't want to have promblems having kids in 10 years so I want to be checked. Do you think I should get checked and if so can I go to the gyno. without her knowing?? (link)

i think u really should talk to your mom and tell her you really feel uncomfortable with not being checked and you want to be.. if she still won't take you then i really think you should just go because i know if my mom had that problem that would be the first thing i would do is get checked.. hope i helped hun! and good luck!

cutting is a very bad disease where people feel as if they need to cut to make their pain go away. i used to cut.. when i would cut it wouldn't hurt.. i couldn't even feel it.. it was like i couldn't feel pain.. it's a really hard thing to go through and just tell ur friend to be ther for her sister and talk to her about it! that's what got me to quit.. someone talking to me and really caring and understanding.. good luck hun!

it is as good as running to loose weight but the thing of it is is that u have to do more walking then you would running.. if ur cardiovasculars aren't very good i would recommend you start walking and work ur way up to jogging.. hope i helped

A while back, I used to use a lot of hairspray and gel on my hair and, when the stuff would drip onto my back, it would break out.
Since then, I've stopped using leave-in hair products altogether but my skin is still breaking out.
First of all, my back is awful. It's a lot clearer than it was a couple months ago but the acne never seems to completely go away.
The skin on my chest is also bad. I have little, red bumps all over and, although the pimples aren't that big, their very red. I can't wear any low-cut shirts because of this.
Also, I have a problem with the skin on my inner-thighs. It's not acne. In fact, I'm not entirely sure what it us. But I do know that I've have little, red bumps all over my thighs and they're EXTREMELY hard to get rid of.
Can anyone tell me how I can get rid of these pimples (and redness) on my back and chest fast?
And does anyone know what the bumps on my legs are and how to get rid of them?

I had the same problem with my skin. i took amoxicillin 500 mg once a day for about 2 1/2 months and it's never come back.. there are also things you can get from ur dermotologist such as cream to make them go away.. try to go to ur pharmisist at a local drug store and ask for betadine scrub.. this will make them go away fast even tho it may smell a little.. just wash with that then use soap over it and it will clear up in less then a week! hope i helped!

oook hun well first off ur not in love.. just say it to urself now cuz it's not true.. just cuz some guy is hott and he likes you doesn't mean u automatically love him and if ur talking about ur bf well then obviously you don't love him too much if ur leaving him for someone else.. i think the best thing you can do is talk very calmly to ur bf face to face and tell him u just want to be friends right now becuz there are a lot of things going on and ur not quite sure what u want or where the relationship is going and you just want ur freedom.. hope i helped hun

Has anybody played "Yu-Gi-Oh: Reshef of Destruction? Its a game for Gameboy Advanced. This game is the stupidest game in the world. But as the gamer that i am, i have to beat it without cheating.
