"Indecent Content
Like many other sites, we use the "Miller Test" for defining indecency. There are three guidelines used in this test:
The average person, applying contemporary community standards, would find that the work, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest; (meaning: the question isn't meant for an honest advice columnist just here for fun, it's meant for cruel people who don't take the site seriously and prefer indecent content)
the work depicts or describes, in a patently offensive way, sexually explicit conduct; (pretty obvious)
a reasonable person must find the work, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value. (meaning: the question doesn't contribute a darn thing to the site)." [ hailebop's advice column | Ask hailebop A Question ]

storageanddisposal answered Sunday August 29 2004, 9:20 am: Why does everyone keep relating this to South Park? Haven't any of you seen movies like Mall Rats? And no, they don't. They find more practical objects. Gerbils aren't hard enough for someone that loose to be satisfied. [ storageanddisposal's advice column | Ask storageanddisposal A Question ]
