Well, I don't know any specific websites, but I know that if you go to www.google.com and just search "Portuguese Newspapers" that you'll find a whole bunch.

Except I can't buy those shirts from those stores, because the sizes don't fit me. Does anyone know any places that sell similar shirts that would fit a larger girl? I'm talking XL here, and I know those stores sell that size, but I'd need an XXL in those stores because of how narrow the shirts are. Thank you.

You could maybe have a movie night at youor house, and make some kinds of food, especially popcorn, and get out a whole bunch of blankets and things. Just act like yourself, and dress in something cute, or maybe have everyone in their PJs.

Coincidence, i have homecoming tonight too! Don't worry about it. Alot of other girls probably don't have dates either. Just ask some of them to dance. Also, i know at my school's homecoming, half of the people don't even know who they are dacning with hal of the time, so don't sweat it.

When I entered grade eight (first year of highschool) I kept friends with some people from elementary school. After a year passed they told me I was an ugly bitch and a loser. They said it over the computer, not even to my face. I ditched them and made new friends, it took a year but finally I remade my life. Best thing that ever happened to me.
Over the summer I became friends with a new group of people and for the last month and a half I have been with them all of the time at school. I do not see my old friends because of their schedules, unfortunately.
These new friends have been ignoring me for the past month. They make plans infront of me without inviting me, don't save me a seat in classes and overall just ignore me. I knew it was because the 'leader' of the group was threatened by me because I was (not purposely) stealing attention away from her. She didn't want to deal with the competition so she started to ignore me. Everyone else started to follow, and soon it became really obvious.
Today I invited one of the girls to go shopping with me and she was supposed to call me yesterday but didn't. When I called her this morning she lied and said she 'didn't know' that one of my others friend's birthday party was today so she couldn't come.
The other girl, having the birthday party, invited basically everyone she knew to the mall to go shopping. There was not a limit on people that could come, but I was the only person not invited.
I have not done anything wrong, at all.
I know I can't be friends with them anymore, but I have run out of options. My school isn't that big and because of the events over the last two years, I have tried being friends with everyone. I have run out of options.
I tried talking to my 'friends' about ignoring me but they ignored me. I should of known better.
What should I do? I do not have any more options of friends here.
So far I have only thought of moving, but for all of that work, will I really find any decent people?
Or I could always not be friends with anyone until I graduate and people mature.
Finally, if I stayed friends with them (or tried) I would have to put up with how bad they are to me. Should I really have to do that?
My best advice is just to talk to the other people about it. If they still ignore you after that, then they don't deserve to be your friend. You se seems like a nice person, and you don't deserve to be treated like crap from them. You could maybe try to join some out of school sports groups or something, and make friends from different schools.

My adivce is to hold a bingo night. Ask your school if you could use the cafeteria one night, and go to different stores and ask them to help support you, and maybe donate a prize. My friend did this for People to People and said it really worked.
I'm going on two missions trips nexet year and I need to raise alot of money. Do you guys have any good ideas on how to raise money, other then like bakesale and support letters?

Well he gave me my first kiss and we always kiss but its only pop kissing. I want to make out with him but im too shy. i have never done it in my life and im very nervous. My advice is to maybe go to the movies, and see a cute movie. It might sound corny, but maybe when there is a kissing scene in the movie, look at him and maybe just like kiss him on the cheek or something, and maybe something might happen out of that. Hope this helps.

My advice is just to keep talking to him, and flirt with him as much as you can. Maybe in some conversations, you can use an excuse to give him your phone number or screen name. If you already have his screen name, talk to him on that, too. Maybe start talking about a movie that you really want to see, or maybe go with a group of friends to the movies, and then ask him to come, and make sure you sit next to him.
Anybody got any fun ideas for the yearbook...im looking for something original yet something that people will remember...and like of course...anything from picture themes...categories...sayings...anything...
Well, in our year book they have a whole bunnch of things. Like last year they had a movie themed yearbook. For example, each grade got a different movie (i.e. Freshman- Lost in translation). They also got polls on people's favorite movies, songs, male and female actors/ress. Some other ideas that are larger, is you could organize something for your school, and then make a two page documentary and thigns of it. For example, this year at our homecomingn peprally, they had the senior football player and cheerleaders do a thing together. It was extremely funny, and they said that they had some people not able to make try outs and they did a dance where the cheerleadrs were trying to show it to the football players. and then at the end, some football and cheerleaders did some stunts.
also adding to it, you could walk around and take pictures, and maybe have people take a good one, and then a erally stupid one and put like before and after or something like that.

Well, my parensts usually put a limit on what i get. They usually say i can have around $200 for christmas, or maybe a little bit more. Honestly though, you can't really put a price on what your parents should spend for you, becuase most times, like my family, we just don't have the money.
My friends dont know me anymore. I've changed so much and I don't know what to do. I'm always the "good girl" that would never do anything bad or wrong. I've been labeled that for the past 2 years and I hate it. Everyone know's me as the "always happy, preppy, good girl". But I'm not like that anymore. I love doing crazy things that are shocking. I want a tattoo and my belly button pierced. I want to drink & try new things (haha not drugs though!) I wanna have fun.
See this all started happening when I became close to this one girl. Her name is Erica. She is a senoir and i'm a freshmen. She's really cool and laid back. She's one of my best friends. We hang out all weekend and talk almost everyday on the week days. She is the complete opposite of me though. I'm way preppy and always smile and laugh. She's dresses down and doesn't care about what she looks like. I guess she's a good influence in some way, because she made me learn not to care so much about what other people think (but i still do!!).
My whole life I always knew I was being someone I wasn't. I wasn't this always happy good girl barbie that I was labeled and been labeled. Towards the end of last school year and this school year, I got more into the "f*ck life and have fun" attitude. I wanted to do pot and drink. I wanted to always do something that was crazy and unexpected of me. I fell in love with the old rock classics (60s-70s)and if people hear me listening to that music... they're like "eww chelsey.. you're becoming a druggy?!". (since when did the music you listen to label you as a druggy or non-user?).
But ANYWAY... I've finally opened my eyes and notcied that erica is a bad influence in my life. She's the one who introduced me to all of this. Smoking, drinking, pot, music, & my attitude. I don't know if this is who I've always been and it was just covered up with hollister clothes and california hair or what, but i'm so confused now. I don't know how to say this, but I like this new person way better then the old. I'm so much more opened and dareing (?).
Now the hard part is, my friends refuse to believe this. If I even curse, there like "OMG! chels you cutie, thats mega bad... when did you start using those words!?!!". AHHH im like stfu. And then I think to myself, what if they knew i wanted to drink or try pot... they would like sign me up for therapy. I don't know what to do?!?! I want people to realize that I've changed, and accept that fact that people change, and wanna do different things. Whats your adivce? What should I do about my life? I don't even know where to begin with all my feelings. Thank-you for answering HONESTLY... I really respect your opinion.
One more thing... I kinda started seeing this kid this year and me and him really hit it off. He's mr. popular and stuff so when he first started talking to me I was soo excited! But now that were haning out more often we almost created like a relationship. A couple nights ago, I found out that he drinks and gets high often. When me and him went over to our one friends house (they were having a party). He took me back in their yard to the bon-fire. A couple of my best friends were down there so I started talking to them, but then they went up and i followed them half way and then went back to the bon-fire. When I came down they were smoking and getting high. Now it just wasn't the kid i liked... it was some of my other guy friends too. They offered it to me.. and I reacted quickly by taking the blunt and throwing it in the fire. (hahaha i know right). So now is it that my friends can smoke but i cant? and i get yelled at if i even curse? WTF?!

By best advice is just to be yourself. If you want to be a certain way, then just do it. If your friends don't support it, then they aren't really your friends. You should find a group of people that like you for who you are. Also, just on my part, I think drugs are the stupidest things ever, they are too expensive and serve no cause, so please (I couldn't tell whether or not you used them) be smart and don't use them. It'll ruin your life.

Don't be scared. If you like her now, just ask her out or something. Hang out at the movies, or throw a party or something. Flirting always works, and if she said she liked you before, you never know, she might still like you. Don't be scared, just go for it.

Honestly, I would just tell her how you feel. Probably like most girls, I would absolutely love for a guy to tell me how he feels. Be confident in yourself and just ask her.

There's this guy in the year below me, lets call him M, that I saw when I went to this party in June. I noticed he looked at me a few times when I was there, but only as much as he looked at other girls. We had to play this game that involved girls landing on guys, me and my friend landed on M and his friend, lets call him A, my friend was nearest to M and I was nearest to A. The next time we played it my mate landed on A and I landed on M. A said to M 'damn, you got her and I only got her friend'.
About a week after the party I was chatting to A on msn, and he said he thought I was really fit, and so did his mate M. My friend L also told me that M had told her to tell me he thought I was fit.
At school the next day I was in my ICT class and M was waiting outside to go into his class. He saw me through the window in the door of my class and made eye contact with me for what seemed like ages.
I saw M once during the summer holidays but he didnt seem to notice me. Then 2 weeks ago I went to this party and he was there. At the beginning, M and his mates were all staring at me and my friends. When we were dancing to the cha cha slide he stood infront of me so that whenever we had to move forwad we were really close. Then his mates, S and J came over and said that they were a gay couple and me and my mates were talking to them and M came and stood next to S and J and just stood there smiling for ages and then danced with us for, like, 5 seconds before going off. The problem is, M didnt talked to me and seemed to have a couple of girls wrapped around him most of the time.
At school whenever I'm in the lunch hall at the same time as M he stares at me for a while. Once I went and talked to someone sitting at his table then when I glanced over at M he quickly looked away.

I am much of a procrastinator, & I have this biology test tomorrow. I didn't start studying yet (its 8:45 PM) & I am so bad at studying and remembering things. Does anyone have any good & helpful study tips? Thank youuuu.
What i do is i keep notes during class all the time and when there is a test the is usually a review before the test and i take notes of what i don't know. I know everone says to make flash cards but it really helps. I have a stack for each subject and i have around 200 cards just for the first marking period of school. I guess it works because i get straight A's.
ok i am 18 and i live with my sister (well freind who is so close she is practically a sister) and her fiance. now the two of them are always having sex. like she and i will be playing cards and he asks her to come upstairs. well she comes back like a half hour to an hour later and i knew they were having sex cuz i could hear them. there is no way to drown them out b/c i dont have a cd player and we dont have a tv. and they are so loud i can hear them throughout hte whole house and many times outside the house. it is kinda disturbing, because they go at it multiple times a day, and not even give a shit that i am in the house and am forced to listen to them b/c i don;t have anything else to do. what am i supposed to do? what can i do to block them out or how can i tell her that them having sex is so annoying for me to hear them all the time. its almost as if she is rubbing it in my face that she can have sex b/c i swear they are loud on purpose. and i am a virgin so it is like she is saying "haha i can have sex and you arent". am i reading into this wrong? how can i confront her aobut it? what should i say? please help me out. i am so sick of hearing them having sex.
If that was me i would go up to my friend and say exactly what i felt. I would say that you both SHARE the house and that you don't enjoy when you have to hear them have sex. Also i would tell her that it is not fair to you to have to hear that and that its also not fair because you have nothing to drain the sound out. And i would also say that it is embarassing when you can hear them all the way outside. Hope this helped.

I know what you mean. I am extremely shy. A good idea would be when you have to have partners, ask a person that you are interested in being friends with to be your partner. You could also try to join some school sports teams or some kind of school clubs. I know clubs sound stupid but my brother has just started joining up some clubs and before he had never had a friend over and now i hardly see him home anymore. I hope this advice helps.
