Just pick a place, get a hold of some buckets, friends, soap and sponges and you're set! [ imagine2006's advice column | Ask imagine2006 A Question ]
pootietang answered Tuesday October 10 2006, 11:27 pm: If you are younger than 16:
-mow lawns
-babysit
-petsit
-ask your parents for an allowance [or a higher allowance] in exchange for more responsibilities
-wash cars [with an adult present]
-rake leaves
-ask for money for Christmas and your birthday
-sell old things online [ebay]
-have a lemonade/soda stand
-walk neighbors' dogs
If you are 16 or older:
-turn in applications to restaurants and stores
-do everything listed above
I hope I helped. If you are not 16 years old yet, finding a job will be hard. I know some 15 year olds who have jobs, though. But if you are 13 or 14, your opportunities to make more money are limited. [ pootietang's advice column | Ask pootietang A Question ]
adviice_whore answered Tuesday October 10 2006, 8:53 pm: there is tons of things you can do. for further reference, you should have posted your age and gender. that might have helped i bit so because of lack of information i will still try to help the best of my abilities. my number one choice is a car wash. people always need their carwashed and you could go in your bikinis and it will attract boys. you could do it at a popular place like a place where people in their 20s or people with cars like to hang out. if you're good with kids i also suggest babysitting. babysit the neighbors and you should make $7-$10 per hour a kid! sounds good to me ya think? you should take a babysitting class if you havent already. okay, moving on. walking pets? always an easy thing to do. i walk about 5 peoples pets a day. it takes barely any time and you get paid a lot. just post signs and stuff on street poles or something so people know what you're doing. yard sales make a lot of money. just gather up the junk around your house and display it outside on a table and put up a couple of signs here and there and BAM! you've got yourself money. or if you dont want to sit outside all day sell stuff on ebay whether its new or used, if its in good shape people will buy it! you could get a job delivering newspaper. i know boring, but im just giving you ideas. not sure of your age, but you could be a waitress or a bus boy at a restaurant. i'm 14 and i have a relative who owns a restaurant and he lets me work there so if you arn't old enough to work at a restaurant you could see if a relative could let you work with them if they have their own business. oh yeah, i can't forget about the classic "you know what." LEMONADE STAND! haha, no im not trying to be funny im serious a lemonade stand is pretty babyish but if your desperate you might as well go for it. oh yes and helping around the house with chores like doing laundry cleaning cooking, earns you extra money from the parents. okay, wow im really starting to ramble and you probably think half of these ideas i gave you are either foolish or impossible but they may seem stupid but you wont even guess how much money you could make. okay, when i give long advice i start to ramble so im going to wrap this up. just try your best and you will make money. its as simple as that. good luck!!
