Question Posted Tuesday October 10 2006, 6:25 pm

In english class, I have to work with this one guy because my teacher counted off my 6's and I got stuck with him. He happens to be my best friends closest guy friend and he ALWAYS finds out SOME way to make fun of me. So in class, he thinks that he can take advantage of me and sit there and tells me what to do. And I am a person who tries their hardest and does all the work when it's needed to be done. So he's yelling at me that he can't read my handwriting, and that my e and f are to spread out and that I should work harder. I almost wanted to kill him because he does this to me every day. I mean, I don't wanna tell the teacher but its a big project and he doesn't do anything... i'm just not sure...

You HAVE to stand up for yourself and tell him to back off and start pulling his weight. It will only get worse if you allow him to continue. Speak up and tell him you are not going to take orders anymore.

Have you tried telling him that if it's not good enough for him then maybe HE should do it? If he isn't helping you then he doesn't have the right to criticize what you do. you put your hard work into the project and not him. let him know how you feel. if you're writing with a pencil, you could write something to get the point across to him and then erase it after he reads it.
