Well, in our year book they have a whole bunnch of things. Like last year they had a movie themed yearbook. For example, each grade got a different movie (i.e. Freshman- Lost in translation). They also got polls on people's favorite movies, songs, male and female actors/ress. Some other ideas that are larger, is you could organize something for your school, and then make a two page documentary and thigns of it. For example, this year at our homecomingn peprally, they had the senior football player and cheerleaders do a thing together. It was extremely funny, and they said that they had some people not able to make try outs and they did a dance where the cheerleadrs were trying to show it to the football players. and then at the end, some football and cheerleaders did some stunts.

also adding to it, you could walk around and take pictures, and maybe have people take a good one, and then a erally stupid one and put like before and after or something like that.

i'm the yearbook editor this year, and our theme is "not your average...". the book this year is all about modern, straight lines and stuff (but it's all color). it looks professional. we have a horizontal bar running through the entire book that has unique facts about people in the school. it's basically like, we gathered quotes from people that were like, "my best friend paid me five dollars to skinny dip in my neighbors pool while they weren't home, and i did." -john doe. and then we got a picture of each person to put beside the quote. so when we look back on it in 20 years, it will be neat to see all the stuff that we DIDN'T know about our classmates. we got that idea from a yearbook workshop, actually. anyway, we can fit 6 different quotes on each 2 page layout (and our book is 80 pages). i did the math one time, and that ends up being about 450 students that get put in the yearbook, just on that bar (we don't have the pics on openings, or the individual pages). and our student population is 700 something, so that's pretty good in my opinion. another one of my favorite things to do is get tons and tons of QUOTES. for stories, captions, EVERYTHING. it makes the book so much more personal. on our layout about the first day of school and stuff, we have two quotes that are in a larger font, and they are AWESOME and really eye-catching. as for captions, we're trying to put a quote in every caption. for instance, our captions look like this: Baking brownies for the Student Council bake sale, 9th grade students John and Jessica help prepare for the annual event. The Student Council, on average, bakes 500 brownies every year for the bake sale, raising $750 to go to charity. "Put a quote here about the bake sale." -Student's Name. haha, i made that up off the top of my head. anyway, good luck with your book!

Hollywood style! Put like a star on the frontcover, Or maybe even put a little filmstrip on in.

It'll look cute!

You could put maybe a picture of a redcarpet, a limo, a camera, a camcorder, or anything that has to do with fame, filming, stars, celebrities, and stuff like that. :)

maybe even a few californian pomtrees
