Q: so im surrounded by people who cause problems in my life who are very difficult to talk to soooo....who should i talk to when there is no body to talk to??

Well, on here is a great place. It's anonomyous (sp?). We don't know you, so you know you'll be getting honest answers. But, do you have a guidance counselor?, teacher?, a friend?, anybody. Sometimes you just need to let your feelings out and just vent and forums and this place is a great place for it and you can get some advice on your "issues" or whatever it it.

My friends birthday was in January and she had a Valentine's kind of party, and it was formal so everyone was wearing red and pink and stuff, i was really cute. That's an idea. Red balloons and hearts. like they put the "sweetheart mints" out on the tables and stuff.

Q: everytime after i pee, like right after, i have this pain that feels like i have to pee extremely bad. like ive been holding it in but i just went pee and cant pee anymore. what is it and can i do anything to fix it?

They have over-the-counter cranberry pills which work on UTI's that just started but if this has been happening for a couple days you should go see a doctor. You most definatly have a Urinary Tract Infection.

Q: im an 18 f and i was wondering whats the best way to trim your downstairs? im scared to wax but i hate shaving are there any other methods? thanks :D

I never waxed mine. What I did for the first time was trim with clean scissors and a comb like cutting hair. Then I shaved like I would shave my legs with shaving cream a stuff, just shave in the direction the hair is going.. if not it hurts!!

Q: im a worrier sooo.. help me hah

well this is what he's like :He's shy to slow dance, but we do. He lays his head on my shoulder while dancing, he he lays his head on my lap, and my shoulder. He says he loves me more when i say "i love you" . He says" i'd take a bullet for you". He calls me cuppy cake, i call him hunny bunny. haha when we text he sometimes says "Hey sexy/hey baby" but he's to shy to get dirty, plus his mom reads his texts. He sometimes pokes and hugs other girls, he's the friendly type. He always makes me feel good, but i sometimes worry i'll lose him. He's like that to. So farr.. he's everything i need in a bf, but i worry so much because i got hurt A LOT in the past, he knows it because i told him. He says he wouldn't hurt me and he's not like other guys. He had sex once before, and thats it. he never pressures me into sex he doesn't talk about it constantly he's not a perv. What do you guys thinkk?

I think it's fine right now. I would worry if he stops doing things like that, like texting, talking, and touching you (not in a sexual way, just a general hug or kiss).

Guys tend to act more "perfect" in the beginning of a relationship, but it does sound healthy and your enjoying it, Right?? Well, stop worrying and love it!! =]

Q: Alright. Here is the thing. This past summer I got involved with a total ass(it happens) and he hurt me becuase I found out he was only trying to get in my pants (have sex) and when I told him I wasn't ready (I was fourteen when he asked me! Granted, he was sixteen at the time but still. Fourteen... now way) he dumped me... Yeah. Anyway, that's a whole nother story... I pretty much moved on and I am now dating this awesome guy and we have been for a little over a month. The summer jerk we'll call T and my boyfriend we'll call C. So C and I are doing fine and dandy but just last night we got into a little fight and I hung up on him. We were cooling down when wow, would fate have it? T texts me. Just a casual "hey, what's up? :)" and normally (cuz he's tried to call and text and see me a few times since we broke up but ive been hesitant cuz i KNOW what his intentions are) i just ignore him but since I was mad at C I was like what the hell and I started chatting with him. It was just texting so its not like it was a big deal and we were just catching up but I still feel bad... C knows about my past with T and he would be pissed if he knew I was talking to him. I don't want to talk to T either. But... I kind of want to try and be friends with him. Is that possible?? I mean. Yeah he hurt me and he never apologized but maybe he didn't know how much he hurt me. Maybe we can work it out and be friends. I'm tired of being angry at him and I want a friendship to work (oh by the way, T goes to a different school than C and I do) But there are a few problems with that... Number 1: C could quite possibly get mad. Number 2: T was an ass, what if he's a sucky friend too?? Number 3: What if i start to like him again...? That CAN"T happen. I am crazy about C but I have always had this thing for bad boys... I don't know... I'm just so confused and I don't know what to do so any help would be great thanks. But I do want this friendship. I'm over T but I'm not over what he's done to me and I think I need to be his friend to finally work though this bad blood with him and help myself. BEcause I feel like until I work this out I'm never going to be able to get closer to C or anyone. I need to be able to trust again. Btw, I am fifteen and C and T are both sixteen.

Wow, I just got out of a "t" relationship. We both agreed to be friends still. I don't know how thats working, because we won't even talk to each other now, but I think it's cool. My opinion, Don't talk to "t". What's done is done. Move on. Guys'll hurt you and you might hurt guys. But why hurt (c) if your soo crazyy for him?

My advice to you is, just ignore T. If you do text back or whatever it's cool, I mean I don't think that'll mess anything up but don't hang out with him or anything.

Well, as many of people said before me, yes it's bad. If he is hitting on you, he's most likely thinking only one thing, young and sexy. Don't fall for it. He's married too, Don't get involved. Now if you were 20 and he was 26. It's bee a little different because your over the legal age and everything.

My brother and I share a wii, he is 17 too. What are some fun games that we can both play together, or (for girls) what are some fun games that girls would like to play. I dont necessarily mean fashion stuff, just fun games in general. Thanks! :-)

We have Mario Kart, and a Monster racing game. (Yes, my dad is a racing kind of person) We also, have a couple of other games.
I suggest Mario Kart if you dont already have it. I would not suggest, Sims, Sim City, and (i forget the name of this one) but its and amusement park type game. I'm 17/f.

Q: I got into an accident awhile ago and the police report pretty much said that it was my fault but i didnt get a ticket. Im on my provisional license right now and i was wondering if that could interfere with me getting my real license when i turn 18. That was the only accident ive ever gotten into and no one was hurt and ive never gotten another ticket or a warning or anything.

In new Jersey you get 6 points. You'd have to have like 2 speeding tickets and a reckless driving ticket. (Or something like that). A relative of mine got in an accident and had two speeding tickets and she was fine (Barely). If you had no points you're fine and they'd let you know too. Also, after 3years? (i think) in New Jersey you get the points back.

Q: I'm 19 and i still don't have my license or permit iv'e gone to the DMV twice and failed the test both times i feel really stupid seeing as most kids my age have their licenses and are able to drive themselves am i over reacting in thinking i'm stupid just because i don't have my permit and i'm 19?

I passed the second time I took it. What really helped me pass the test was the online practice. The questions on the practice test were exactly like the ones on the real thing. Totally look it up!! It helps alot.

Q: Hey! I'm almost 17 and i just got my learners permit (a little late) in the state of NY. I live on the boarder of NY and CT and my family always drives to CT for everything (taking the backroads into CT without taking any major highways or parkways)
My mom and I were researching wether im allowed to drive in CT or not. I searched on Google and it was like someone from MA asking if they can drive in CT, not what im looking for haha!
Do any of you know wether its legal if i drive in CT or not?

I know New York does have some restrictions on Learners Permit driving out of state. Seriously, if your not driving like a maniac you wont get pulled over. Check the Connecticut Learners Permit Laws on permit restrictions because they are the ones pulling you over. I am pretty sure it's up to CT(but don't take that to my grave =P). Ask a local DMV, cop, anyone who knows the law.

Q: so for a good while now, ive been having a lot of discharge. most of the time its very gooey and pale-yellow. sometimes it even has a tiny bit of a pale-whiteish/green colour, but thats very rare and only lasts for about a day. and it always smells disgusting.

i got one of those home screening tests, and it said i had a yeast infection. but the test didnt have a colour for it if you didnt have a yeast infection. the test is for someone who has a yeast infection, or worse. i'm not exactly sure if i have one or not.

if i did, what can i do? i live a few blocks away from a kroger, but would they have anything there? and if so, what? and would i need a prescription? my mom and i arent on a great level of communication, and i'm embarrassed to ask her. so thanks for anyone who can help :)

I get yeast infections often. My yeast infections are normally caused by being on antibiotics or not having enough calcium in my body.
My yeast infections (haven't had one in awhile, yay!) have a "fish" kind of smell, and its awful and there is a discharge like the kind that you get before you period.
The cure, try to eat alot of yogurt, that normally cures the little ones. If that doesn't work go to your family doctor or wherever you go and tell him/her about it. They'll probably give you antibiotics and it'll go away.
If you get it from being on antibiotics there is an over-the-counter medicine that prevents a yeast infection before it has a chance to come.

Normally, when a doctor puts me on antibiotics I make sure I take my over-the-counter stuff to prevent it.

Q: Tomorrow i am going to the beach, so my mum and I went shopping yesterday to get me tampons. I have never used them before, so this was my first time. We got the smallest size possible.
This morning after I had a shower, i tried to use the tampon. I did exactly what it said (i washed my hands and put my leg up on the bath, I did everything properly!) but I couldnt get the tampon in me.
It was like I didn't have a hole or there was some wall blocking me. It was really frustrating!
I thought that this might happen because once I read that good practise for using a tampon is to use your finger, so I tried that a while ago and couldn't get my finger in.

This is kinda embarassing, but it is also frustrating because I need to use a tampon for the beach tomorrow!

Please help me find a way to use it easier, and also if anyone could answer why it won't go in?

The first time I put a tampon in was an hour before I was going to my aunts to go swimming.
Don't forget, even if you don't think your muscles are tensed up, try this anyway.

Take a Deep breath before putting it in. Also, I used Playtex Easy Glide the Junior Size. I think the junior size is perfect for any age girl to put a tampon in. They are sooo skinny they go right up. Yes, I know you may have to change it twice as much cuz your flow is probably heavier. That's when you move up sizes until you find your perfect one. Before you know it you'll be a pro at tampons.

P.S. I still wear pads like all the time. To me its easier to change in school and work and stuff but when I'm in a situtation like the beach or whatever atleast I know I am able to still swim and do sports.

Q: ok there is a type of physical girls take. i dont remember what its called. when the doctor check in there vagina and all that.. well my question is...
what all do they do can you please explain in deep details. ive never had it done before. im 17 female. and im a virgin so im scared to get it done but if someone can tell me what to expect. thankyou

I'm also 17, I've never been to a gynecologist. So your probably like, well why are you answering this. haha.
My mom went to her regular "check-up" and asked about when her daughter (me) should start going. The gyno said that you don't really have to go to the gynecologist until your 18 or if your sexually active. So, I'd say you can wait another year before you actually go.
Also, if there's a particular reason for going? Like irregular period? Bad cramps? Excessive bleeding? That's when you should go.
When you do go and get your pap smear, Don't freak out, Remember to Breathe!

Q: what is the average highschool year that people take their psat test?

At my school my freshman year they told us only Sophomore's and Juniors.
Then my sophomore year only Juniors could take it.
My Junior year (when I took it) they opened it back up to sophomores and Juniors.
and this year (senior year) they opened it to freshman, sophomores and Juniors.
So if I were you I'd take it your Junior year if anything.

Q: ok does anyone know why whenever i try to log in it doesnt let me? like its hard to explain...ok so i type in my email and then my password and then whe i press log in it just reases my password so then i have to type it all over again and it just started to happen today. and its not just my email its all my friends too. does anyone know why its doing this??

I understand what you mean. I'm not quite sure why its happening. I think its fixed now, it was just a mantinence problem.

Our new neighbors just came yesterday! I was excited because I thought there would be kids and that I could hang around with (considering that the only kids in my neighbor hood are 19+)

Well I was playing fetch with my dog in the lawn this morning and they came! they have 2 dogs so my dog went crazy and ran after them. I went to go get my dog and I met the lady. She has a 4 month son and she asked me if I was interested in babysitting him. I agreed because i could really use the money.

problem?? I'VE NEVER BABYSAT IN MY LIFE!!!
I'm so nervous now! we haven't scheduled a day yet but i'm asking you people here for advice.

What am I supposed to do with a 4 month boy? Do I just feed him and then watch TV or something??

Well, I'm 15 and all the kids around here age mostly 2-9 years old. I have a cousin who will be turning 1 soon. So basically I know everything about kids. A 4 month baby, you don't do much. I went to a babysitting class at the red cross. Which teaches you everything you need to know. Really, if you want to play with him "peekaboo" is the best bet. Also, ask the mother, to teach you about changing diapers. "Its a boy now lol" If you have any more questions put them in my pm box.

I asked a girl where she got her jeans and she said she did it herself and kinda showed me. What you do is make a 2 horizontal slits in the jeans (about 1 inch apart). Then take out the vertical threads out carefully.

Q: My mom made me a doctors appotment in August with a regualar pediatricion. (i'm 13)

I'm gonna get a physical or a check-up, I can't remember which one. Thing is, I havn't been to the doctor since I was 7 or 8. So, of course, I've gotten my period since then.

Will my doctor want to take a look "down there"?

I've gotten Physicals all the time for track and cross country. He never asked or looked down there. Only the first time but that was because I was having problems before that so he took a look. He probably won't though. No Worries. Beware of a shot. My doctor is always giving me shots.

Q: I asked a question earlier about my hair falling out constantly when I'm in the shower & brushing it. Everyone said, its natural for you to lose some hair each day. But honestly, I've never seen someone nor have I lost as much hair as I do nowadays. It comes out like a very thick strand of hair and plus at the end of the shower I have somewhere on my body like a huge knot of just my hair that has fallen from my hair and on to my body. Theres seriously a lot of hair. And yes, my hair is thinning but I still have hair, don't get me wrong. The only thing I can think of is the fact that I used to straighten it a lot. I havne't been doing that as much for about 2-3 months now but I'm still losing hair. Its alllll over the tub and even the drain is clogged because of my hair. I don't know what to do or why its happening... I've even cut my hair short (I used to have long hair) and its still coming out...

It is natural. The reason why you don't see other ppls is because you say its happens when you brush your hair and take a shower. Well, (most of the time) you don't see people brushing their hair or showering. It happens to me if I strand my fingers through my hair with my friends around their like "Are you gonna pull all your hair out" but yeah its okay.
