So I like this guy sooo much!! And He finally asked me out.. I was about to say yes, cause he is like my dream guy, but i remembered that my mom wont let me go out with anyone. I really like him and all of his friends, and him have told me that he likes me back, but my mom won;t let me go out with anyone period!!
so should i say yes to him and not tell my mom..or??

I think you should say yes.If your mum asks you tell her the truth.Mums know when your with a boy because you become more "happier" and looking in the mirror more and stuff.So when your going with out with your bf, tell your mum your mate is coming with you.

Is it better to take a bath or shower ? That might sound dumb but is one better than the other? I notice when I take a shower the water hitting my face like makes my face turn all red and my face itches for some reason but when I take a bath it doesnt.

Well its based on opnions.I like showers as they are quick,easy, and make me feel refreshed.But I also like baths to relax in.I suggest baths for because of your face.But remember in a bath, your kind of sitting in all the bacteria you washed off and also it's a waste of water too.
But maybe you can have a shower and wash your face in the sink.basin afterwoods.

You are all given a number.You dont tell anyone.Then someone goes in the closest puts a blind fold on.They call a number.Whoever has that number, goes into the closest and does whatever they want for a minute.They both then come out.The person with the blindfold dosnt take it off until the person they were with sits down.They then have to guess who it was!

Today was tutoring for my math class after school. Usually for tutoring, there are quite a few kids in the class so the teacher can't pay all that much attention to the kids individually, but I did get one of my questions asked. During the time I was at tutoring today, I did get one of my questions asked though, but most of the time the teacher was busy. But that's okay, I didn't mind. I just did my homework until I was done.

Then my mom called me and said she was there to pick me up already, so I had to go before the tutoring session was over. I was a little annoyed that I had to leave before I got to ask the teacher more questions but it wasn't that big a deal. So as I'm finishing up the last little bits of my homework, he walks up and asks if I'm okay with everything. So I say,

"Yeah I'm okay. I'm just mad that I have to go because I still have a couple of questions I wanted to ask you." He says "oh okay." Then I say, "But I can just ask you those on Thursday." And then he says "okay, just make sure you remember." I don't think I sounded mad or anything but I didn't want it to come off that way.

My question is, did saying "I'm just mad that I have to go because I still have a couple of questions I have to ask you" seem rude? Because I wasn't trying to be sound mad at all. I was just annoyed that I had to leave so soon.

This is probably really an idiotic thing to be asking for advice on but I just wanted some opinions. If this didn't make much sense the way I explained it feel free to ask me to clear it up for you. If you're taking the time to actually read this and reply, thank you!

You werent rude at all, it just sounds normal, its not like your teacher was acting funny after you said it.Infact if anything it sounds normal and sweet to say you were mad as you wanted to ask a few questions.It's fine it is all cool.I'd say it too!

Just out of curiosity,what kind of music do all of you here on Advicenators listen to.Also,why do you enjoy listening to it?

My reason for asking is because it seems like music is steadily going down the drain,and people have lost a sense of what good music actually is.

I know...or I think appendix is on the right side...but I've been having this pain on my left side. It hurts alot sometimes and sometimes you can barely feel it. It feels like gas from not eating on time...but it hurts an has been hurting about a week now.

For it a start it isnt even normal to begin with.It is becoming a habit for young people.Mainly people 14+.I am totally against it!!And we should all be trying to fight, I have "friends" who dranl to much and ended up uncncious.But I feel everyone is shoving all these facts down our throats and because teens are rebellious they're bound to the complete oppositw and do it.Nowadays there is more teens doing things they shouldnt be doing ie: smoking.A lot of it is from insecurities and peer pressure.But it isnt normal.It's just becoming a habit

I'm a teenage girl (raised catholic) who has been atheist/agnostic/unsure since the summer. I have encountered several recent events in my life that have lead me to believe that there really is a God after all. All of my friends are really strong christians- but I just don't think that God is real.

I don't know if Christianity is right- or even real... but I'm feeling compelled to recommit my life to Christ. What does that mean anyway? How can you "commit your life" to someone who isn't even real? Who IS Jesus? I mean this whole thing makes no sense. How can there be a God when there are so many other religions like islam and such? My prayers never came true as a Christian.

Oh, by the way- I hate going to church and i don't see the point in doing it. It never even brought me closer to this so-called God. To be a true Christian (not a poser) do you HAVE to attend mass? What if I just want to have my OWN faith? I also don't believe in Bible verses and stuff- like I don't think that the people in it were real. Why can't we just have faith in GOD and not all the crap that goes along with it?

Firstly, you are right to question your faith, we all go through this.Noone can prove that jesus / god is real, but there is some evidence as I have been learning it @ school recently.
The way you commit your life is basically to follow the commandments, and take time to pray to god.I feel god is real because he helped me through a difficult time.My mother was told she was only going to have 3wks to live and would never ever walk again.But we prayed and prayed and do you know what?She stayed alive and can now walk, now dont tell me there isnt a lord.
You say your prayers never come true, they will when god decides, and if your gonna have that attiutude towards your prayers then he isnt gonna help is he??And all faiths are the same i mean ALL the faiths have a god/gods.But difference is we beleive in particular things, some beleive in a god who helps and loves and some may beleive in something else about their god.If there was no such thing as god, where would we be.EVERYONE turns to a god, even if you havnt yet you will.One day you'll go "god help me please" when your through a difficult time even if you say you dont beleive.
Church is something I do everyweek and though I am only 13 I do readings and such.Church is basically a mass, to say thankyou to god for the week and joy you bring to us and to gather all of us together as a community to pray for the world.And no, you dont have to go to mass to be a true christain.There isnt such thing, as a true christain anyway, because we are all the same.And if you have your own beleif then its your own beleif, noone has the right to really qiestion why you beleive it.
You cant have faith in god and not beleive everything that goes with it.Because in the bible it says he can heal magically and stuff, well what is your god then if you dont beleive all the verses, he's just be an ordinary man wiuldnt he?
I have become deeply into it because of my mum and I made my confirmation, which made me really deeply into it.Your either a full christain or not.You cant be half!"you beleive in god but not the other stuff" no it dont work like that Im afraid.And you dont have to read the bible and go to church to be a christain but you should else how else would you show yourself, god, and everyone else that you are one?

when i was 9 or 10 my brother molested me. the molestation went so far i would even call it rape. while it was going on i told him no i didnt want to but he made me think i was wrong for not wanting to. afterwards he tried to have these sex talks with me about how to do sexual acts and what happens when guys get excited, i finally told him i didn;t want to talk about this with him. it took alot of courage but i hated it, i hated him. he told me if i told anybody he would tell them that i touched him, and that nobody would believe me. i felt disgusting, and i thought [still think] people will think i am disgusting for letting that happen to me.

now im 15 and it still horrifies me. i have never told anybody because im afraid they will think i am gross. i can never tell my parents, NEVER, because they will not believe me. He hides it so well and soemtiems i even wonder if he remembers doing it. once i braught it up, he acted like he didnt know what i was talking about and i sut up quickly, i didnt want to talk about it. I know it happened... but there is nothing i can do

now it is a huge problem b/c i have been dating this great guy for 3 months and i won't let him touch me. at first i just told him i was prude but when he puts his arms around me i freak, and once i decided to just ignore it and make out with him as uncomfortable as i was, he hand started to go up my shirt and i ran out of the room and started to cry hysterically. this shouldnt still be happening, but it is affecting me now more than ever.

please help me forget about this and overcome my fear of somebody touching me. my bf is going to dump me if i keep doing this, he doesnt know why, im never going to tell him.

My gosh, I am so sorry.I really am.I am so upset that you havnt told anyone not even your 'rents.I really think you should tell only your boyfriend what had happened.It will be hard, but you should really tell him.He'll understand why you are like this.But it is affecting you,so you HAVE to tell your bf, he'll be more protecive and keep you safe.Maybe go to a phycologist, this way you can tak about anything and everything.

BUTTT, if you feel this cant go on, tell your parents and go to the police and take them down.Strangley enough, it happened to my friend and she did the same thing and now, he is gone, prison for a very very long time.

I definalty recommend talking to your boyfriend and about it and maybe you and him cna go to phycologist.You then can go to the police.Your bf will be there 100%.

I am a Junior this year and finally get to go to prom. The problem is, neither me or my parents can afford me a dress. I'm not extremely concered with how elegant it has to be. I was wondering if anyone knew of one of those "clinics" that gives prom dresses away to teens that can't afford one located in Central Illinois.
Last year they had one in Champaign, IL but I can't find any information on one.

If anyone can help me find out when or where a clinic in Central Illinois is, I would greatly appreciate it.

Just because your going to a prom dosnt mean that you have to wear a PROM dress.You can get just a decent cheap black one, and make it your own with accesories or whatever.
