I am a Junior this year and finally get to go to prom. The problem is, neither me or my parents can afford me a dress. I'm not extremely concered with how elegant it has to be. I was wondering if anyone knew of one of those "clinics" that gives prom dresses away to teens that can't afford one located in Central Illinois.
Last year they had one in Champaign, IL but I can't find any information on one.
If anyone can help me find out when or where a clinic in Central Illinois is, I would greatly appreciate it.

I couldnt find what you were looking for but I did find some very cheap and affordable ones for you though.
Ok so here we go
Moop answered Saturday January 13 2007, 7:55 pm: last year my school sponsored a Becca's closet, a dress drive that gave away dresses for free to anyone interested. contact me by email (petite.phoque@gmail.com) and I'll give you any details I know about this years' as I get them. we're northern illinois about 3 hours from champaign.
also, if you can't find a dress drive you can always go to a thrift store. most are still not that expensive. this year as a senior I'm planning on buying a few dresses from thrift stores and combining them to make one glorious dress ala molly ringwald in pretty in pink.
