What's up? Well, I'm sure like each and every other advice columnist is that, we all enjoy giving advice . I like to keep things real and you'll find out how real when you ask me a question . i have this ex that i reallly still like and while we were goin together we always argued. and we broke up for some crazy reason bc i had him really upset and he still loves me i kno he does but he had my friend over his house. he said he didnt do anything but in some way i think he did or was going to. i trust both of them and they went behind my back. now he doesnt talk to me as much as he used to and i kept tryin to explain to him i wanted to be back with him but he kept makin up excuses for why he didnt want to be with me, one reason was he had track season and he blames it on me not trusting him and he has to worry about track season and other reasons. i really wanna be back with him and i wanna make things work i jus dont kno wat to do. wat should i do?
I know that you really like this guy . You're being too considerate and he's being a total ass to you. You care for him, but it doesn't mean that you have to indure his ridiculous insults . You don't want anyone who does things like that to you . You seem very considerate and thoughtful . Be thoughful towards this advice . The advice is to , get over him . He doesn't know your worth . well i broke up with my boyfriend in may and now i go to the same school with him and he still wants to be with me i dont even want to be friends with him and now he has a classes next to my locker and i see him everyday i dont want to talk to him and i told him i like another guy and he insists that we should get back together but i told him i dont like him at all and now he doesnt stop bugging me what do i do. or what can i do
You should talk to him at first and get straight to the point . Be nice in the begining of the conversation . Then if he still shows resistance, tell him how you feel harshly . I know you probably don't want to hurt this guys feelings, but you need to tell him how you truely feel . Tell him to get a life and to move on . Tell him it just wasn't meant to be . Then if he doesn't stop, hit him . Hard . Maybe he'll get the message . But don't consort to violence . You should talk to him calmly . im 16 in high school this year we had a new history teacher.im dislexic and he always picks on me about it and sends me out of every lesson since september.for reasons that are pathetic like asking questions too loudly.on friday he sent me out of the lesson within 3 minutes.i dont know what to do,i like the subject its interesting but im thinking of dropping it because of the teacher.what shall i do?shall i drop it?pleese reply asap

Ok, well, I got my period on Thursday, Its not the 1st time I got it cuz I have had it since I was 10. The question I have is how long do they usually last? Before, mine were about 7-9 days and this one has only been 3 and it isn’t heavy at all, like im done with it and I usually get really bad cramps and have really heavy flows ad ahad neither. Why is it so light and short this time???

I totally understand and I have those same periods as well . Don't you just hate those cramps ? Well, it's probably doing this because you're maturing into a young woman so your period won't always be heavy with cramps . As you grow , your period will change . Some months it'll be heavy and sometimes they won't . I have the same thing going on with me right now , and I totally understand . Well points Kerry made were :
(1) That the President and the Bush Administration created the "War Against Terror " on false accusations (accusationa that were that Iraq possessed nuclear weapons and the president acknowledged that his administrative knew that the accusations were false).
(2) That Kerry would unite the nations such as France, Germany , and Russia to make them our allies in this war . He says this because, there's only 4 nations(Britain, U.S., Austrialia, and Poland [the majority U.S. soldiers] )
(3) He was saying that the president and his administration practically allowed North Korea to gain the intelligence and ability to formulate Nuclear Weapons. That the Bush Administrative did nothing to stop this from happening .
Kerry also covers his plan on the war .
Views of Bush :
(1) That Kerry hasn't stuck with one issue . Should there be or not be a war in Iraq . Kerry made this quite clear that he does support the war in Iraq, but not the reasons for why we went to war .
(2) How Iraq had to be dealt with and the president actually blamed 9/11 ON SADDAM HUSSIEN instead of the terrorist network .
Basically Bush didn't have alot of views because, he kept repeating things throughout the night, and that's why I say Kerry won the debate .

Well, I've hardly been eating ANYTHING lately. And when I do, it's small doses of like...carrot sticks or something. I've been loosing weight and everything. I don't think I'm fat and all that, I don't even want to be on some stupid diet. I want to eat, but everytime I try, I get sick if I eat too much. Should I see a doctor? Or is this normal for a girl my age?

I've never heard of anything like this before, and it can't be anerexia because, you acknowledge that you aren't fat . It could be that your body doesn't agree with the food you intake . May 17, 2004, ((st. patricks day)) one of my best friends committed suicide. She was 13 years old. She was born on September 11, 1990. Her name was Alyssa, and she was walking to school late and she was walking on the tracks. She heard the train coming and she turned around, put her hood up, and gave the thumbs up sign to the conductor. He couldn't stop the train. Alyssa got hit and died. A month later the investigators claimed it to be suicide, which everyone already knew. She had tried committing suicide a couple weeks before that, but I had to drag her off the tracks by her hair. I had made her go see the school counselor before that and I guess she still wanted to committ suicide. The night before she was hit, she wrote R.I.P Alyssa on her and her boyfriend's bedroom wall. She killed herself for many reasons, but I only know of how her boyfriend was cheating on her and she was in a gang and family problems. She told me there was more though. I tried so hard to convince her that death wasn't the soulution, but she didn't listen. I did everything I could to help her. Anyway, I know it's long but I thought you needed to know the whole story.
So my problem is, I still haven't been able to cope with it. I cry all the time and nobody seems to understand me. I miss her so much. I've already seen numerous counselors but they haven't helped me much. I just want to know if there's any way that I could start the "healing process" or if it'll just take time. I would appreciate all the help. Thank you so much!

Rachel, for a starter you were and are a good friend to Alyssa. You probably was her light when she was in the dark , and you probably made her vision easier when it was clouded . Rachel, you need to acknowledge that you were a good friend, and that you aren't responsible for what happened
to Alyssa . You may not feel responsible, but those feelings tend to grow over time . Second of all, don't let anyone tell you that you'll get over this because, the fact is that you'll never get over it . It'll always be there , and it'll fade at times ; the fact is that it'll remain with you for the rest of your time . You need to be content with yourself, and you need to acknowledge anything that you're in doubt about . I know how this feels , but I can't relate to how much pain you're going through .You need to know , that you were there for Alyssa and that you were the best thing that may have ever happened to her . You also need to know, that some people, you just can't save . One day, you will heal but not entirely . There will always be that something in the very pit of your mind questioning . Questioning whether you could've done this or that or, why Alyssa did this or that . The key is to remember life and to value it . It may seem like there's nothing right now to value, but there is . Ok, so I'm a fourteen year old girl and to start off with, I have recently broken up with a boyfriend I had for over a year. I loved him very very much, and still do. He says he still loves me as well, but he moved and I never see him so it's too hard to be anything more than friends. Well recently, I've been hanging out with another guy a lot. He and I are both in marching band, so we see each other a whole lot. Well yesterday, we had a band compeition starting at eleven AM, and the bus got to the school at 1:30AM. Well at the compeition we were hanging out a whole lot, and on the bus ride home he started using me as a pillow again(this isn't anything new) and I subconsciously started playing with his hair. All of a sudden, my hand slipped into his and the next thing I know we're holding hands. See, what I'm wondering is, is it okay to be slowly falling in love with this new guy while I still have feelings for my ex? Is it fair to him? Help.
Well, it depends . Are you in love with this new guy ? If you are in love with the new guy, then you are being fair to him . I can see if you're going out with him, but the fact is that you're not going out with him . Don't ignore your feeling that you have for your ex-boyfriend because, that only makes matters worse . I think you know what you want and deep down inside , you feel that it may be too compromising to get . I don't think it's wrong , but if it bothers you, I think you should tell the new guy about your feelings for your ex boyfriend. Alright so in french today, a guy came in, handed my teacher a note and then my teacher gave it to me. in the note it said that they wanted me to join a club called "A World Of Differnce." Anyone know what the heck that is and if its anygood? i dunno they said it was about tollerence and stuff, but the note made no sence at all.
Well the base root for the word tolerance would probably mean , religous toleration( toleration of different religions ex. cathlics, christians, and Islam ). So that's what it may mean of a "A World of Difference" . You may discuss how to solve things between different ethnic groups . Don't worru about what they say although I personally wear pads . Anyway, if you feel more comftorable wearing tampons, then wear them . I would tell my mother the truth because, forging is really terrible . You could get into a load of trouble, and I'm not just talking grounding . If you do get away with this forging, it's more likely that you'll have a guilty conscience . You'll feel terrible , but you'll get over it . EITHER WAY THE TRUTH IS EXPOSED IN THE END . I think you need to tell your friend how you feel because, she could really get hurt ; you won't feel to good about yourself if you just let this happen . Of course, you know this . She may not like the truth , but she'll have to except it the easy way or hard way . If she excepts it with difficulty, then it'll be a path that'll turn into another hard lesson learned . Tell her . My question is I have know this guy for almost fifteen years. We have known each other since the third grade and the whole time I have known him I like more then just a friend. We used to be good friends but in eighth grade he asked me if I wanted to have sex with him and when he asked me I didn't say anything. But after that day we weren't good of friends like we were before because I didn't know how to act around him. But in high school I noticed that he still likes me because I use to catch him looking at me and smiling and sometimes we would smile when ever we looked at each other because we always had a class together through high school. When we graduated he wrote something really nice but the thing is I don't know if he is the type of guy to write the same thing in every girls yearbook or if he just did it in mine. But to this day I don't know if he wants to be more then friends or not. But I found out that he hoined the army and I am thinking of writing him a letter but I am not sure because we haven't keep in touch in almost four years so what should I do.
Write the letter explaining things to him, and maybe you should ask him out for dinner . It would be good for you and he might be wondering why you're doing this . If you really want him, go for it . Lay down on your stomach and try not to be too active because, cramps will worsen . Try not to think about them that much . If that doesn't work, I advise you to take some alieve . I think that you should follow your instincts . Don't try to think about what he wants when it comes to the NEXT BIG STEP( that is if you take this step) because, you may be the one that suffers the most out of this step . Me and my bf have been together since april but were close friends since june'03. My mum met him Sept'03. Everything was good. She liked him a lot. They would get on really well. Then in April I told her me and him were going out. Her attitude turned completely. She wont talk to him when he comes round. She says hes wrong for me and she says she can see straight thru him and tell that he has a bad character. They have argued. He wont come round anymore so Im usually not at home coz Im with him. She keeps saying 'I bet you're having sex.' Just like that, really spitefully. She keeps making comments. She says if I dont break it up she will. I think you need to have a family meeting with your mother, father, and your brother . Get all the issue's out about your boyfriend and everything . Maybe you should take this boyfriend of yours to this meeting because, I understand that he has some dirty laundry that he airs about your mother . At this meeting , facts will probably set straight, and there's always a possibility of things not working out as well planned as it may be. Go one at a time . Start with one problem that the person may have with the other, and make ways to solve the problem . Communication is the only way I can see this problem getting solved and their maybe some compromises . You'll feel better about it though. I don't know how or why I know this but I think you will .
