I know tons of people that use limewire, but it can slow down your computer. Limewire.com should work. Btw, it's illegal, as is most free downloading.

15/female my bf also 15 and i have been together for almost 6 months i love him and he is shy we havent done anything except make out hes nervous about me seeing his penis i asked him again and he said that its small i told him i love him and i dont mind what size he is hes still insecure i dont want to push him too much why do guy worry about penis size? how do i get him to feel more conident? (link)

Guys can have sensitive egos, especially when trying to impress a girl. You two are young and inexperienced, so let the physical aspects of your relationship come naturally. It's good you told him his size doesnt matter, and if you ever do see his penis try to compliment him on his size or how good he makes you feel. He may just need that reassurance.
Good luck,

i have freckles.
a lot of freckles.
they're all over my face and i know a lot of people tell me that they're cute or whatever, but I really don't like them.
They're really dark against my skin tone and I was wondering if anybody knew a way to lighten the shade a bit, or get rid of them completely.
note: I am not a fan of cosmetic surgeries or laser treatments.
Thank you so much. (link)
|
How old are you? If your just a teenager, chances are your freckles will fade as you age. My mom used to have TONS of freckles when she was a kid and now her face is clear of them.
There are creams and remedies out there but they don't really work. Some of the creams have bleach in them, which will make the freckles lighter, but will also affect the surrounding areas of skin, making you look really blotchy.
Laser treatments are expensive and can have bad side effects.
For right now I would wear spf over your freckles every day and keep your face out of the sun. That will let them fade naturally and keep new ones from forming. It may not make them dissapear but you will see a difference.
I have a ton of freckles and the make up I wear lets them sort of blend in and not stand out. You can work with make up to lessen the contrast of freckles if you want. You can completely cover them with the right type of make up.
I know you don't like them now, but look at how unique they make you. I've learned to love my freckles (I have a lot, too) and I realize my face would be really bland without them. They've even been a conversation starter for me.
Just try to appreciate your body, and see how bad you could have it.
Good luck,

PLEASE! can somebody tell me what I need to do to get big loose curls? I have tried everything and the curls just seem to fall right back out. Thank you if you can help me. :) (link)
|
Sleeping in hot rollers will give you long-lasting curls. Spray hair spray on them before going to bed and after when you take them out after styling.
If you use a curling iron, get a big barrel iron. They come in many different sizes. Spray your hair lightly before putting it in the iron and then spray again when it comes out. Make the curls tighter then you want them because curls always get looser during the day.
You can put mouse in your hair after getting out of the shower and when it dries start curling it to give it some extra staying power.
For loose waves/curls, some people have sucess with wrapping the hair around the iron (not using the clamp.)
Some people also use a flat iron to curl their hair. Maybe that would work better for you?
Here's a video showing how to do that since it can be pretty tricky:

My hair is now lighter than my eyebrows so how do I dye my eyebrows the same color as my hair? The dye says to not use it on your eyebrows so I don't know what to do! Anyone else do this before? (link)
|
Use the hair dye on your brows, but be very careful. Use a tiny amount and reapply if you have to. Beware because it can dye the skin underneath.

I hate to admit this but I am obsessed with porn. I mean really obsessed.
I feel like it is taking over my life completely. I can't wait to be alone so I can get on-line and find new stuff to look at.
I hate it.
Is there a way to break this porn obsession?
Thank you if you can help me! (link)
|
Quitting something is hard, and people do it in different ways. I've read that it takes 2 weeks to break a habit, and then keeping yourself sober is life long.
I suggest starting out by making a list of things that porn ruins in your life. Does it harm your relationships with people? Does it affect your school work, job, free time, family/friend life? The good things in your life can motivate you.
Now list all the things you want to accomplish, and recognize how porn could harm that. Do you have a significant other, or wish you did? A porn addiction can deffinitely harm any relationship.
I sometimes feel that I'm addicted to the internet, but then I'd go on vacation and realize I can be without it. You could try going cold-turkey.
Or you could try weaning yourself off of it, viewing less and less every day or only viewing it every other day, then once a week, etc. Until you are off of it.
You need to do something to do to distract you. Try making mini goals to do or volunteering or joining a class/sport. Something to dedicate yourself too.
Finding a support group could help you. Talking to a minister or therapist could also be of great help.
Here are some websites.

Okay so last night i was pretty drunk and me and this kid were fooling around and i dont know if he actually went in me, but it was down there but for less than like two minutes, but he didnt have a condem on. Im on birthcontrol but i dont take it everyday at the same time and sometimes i miss a day or two. My question is would i feel if he came in me? I gave him head after because i didnt want him to go in me and i didnt feel anything wet on him indicating that he did. I know that sounds wicked stupid but im just paranoid. And is there a possibility I could be pregnant? (link)
|
There is always a possibility, no matter how miniscule, that you could become pregnant with sex. Even on the pill or wearing a condom. Then it's usually 99% effective but if you say you miss days then it's increased.
What I would me more concerned about if I was you was the risk of STD's since he wasn't wearing a condom. STD's wont show up for possibly months though, so I suggest practicing safer sex, taking a pregnancy test later to be safe (though I doubt you are pregnant) and seeing a gynocologist in the near future.

okay so im 14 and my boyfriend wants to kiss me..the thing is i never kissed anyone before and im really nervous and i dont wanna screw it up or do it wrong. please helpp :) (link)
|
I don't agree with the person below me. While messaging him is easier to tell him what you want, once the two of you come together in person it will make it awkward since you are both expecting it and nervous about it. If he wants you to kiss him, then you really cant go wrong. Your young and I'll assume he's around the same age group, so your both probably inexperienced.
You could be sweet and say something like "I've never done this before, but I really want to kiss you" and give him a gentle kiss. Or you could totally surprise him and grab his face and give him one (not too rough, we don't want any broken noses!) He'll probably love that. Just think about it simply; you like him, he likes you, and it's a natural thing. Try not to be nervous! And enjoy yourself.
Good luck,
-Abby

i just met him 22 days ago.. we're not serious dating.. we're meeting and going out.. he told me that his mother is very happy cause he is dating.. i would be the second girl that he takes to his house.,. im supposing coming to his house the next week, in 8 days.. but im not sure cause i think its a little hurry to meet them.. i will love it!! and love it more if i know their parents are really happy to meet me..!! but should i go this long or wait a little more=?? and how should i act in front of them??
wht should i not to say?? (link)
|
Are the two of you officially boyfriend/girlfriend? If not it may be too premature to meet the parents. But if you feel commited enough to him to want to know more about his life and know his parents then it's a good thing. It shows you that he likes you enough to bring you home. If he thought you would make a bad impression on them he wouldn't have invited you.
I suggest be yourself, make sure your language is clean and manners are good, tell your boyfriend about any food restrictions ahead of time like your allergic to nuts or something, and dress casually but conservatively. And have fun!
Good luck,

Okay so will someone please explain what exactly happens when you lose your virginity? i am very comfortable with my body and i have hooked up with people but never all the way yet. i know about hymen sort of but where is it excatly? when i feel around it seems like i don't have one or am not a virgin. how can i tell? help? (link)
|
There are different definitions of sex and how people view them. There really is not one true idea of a virgin or sexual acts that disqualify you as a virgin. In health class, we considered it as vaginal intercourse. But gay couples can't do that, and we still consider them sexually active even if they don't have vaginal intercourse by a penis. Some people don't have a hymen, some people's are big enough they don't need to tear, and some are even closed far enough to require medical removal so menstrual fluid can come through. Hymens can be broken by activities like sports, horse back riding, inserting a tampon, etc. So breaking it doesn't mean you aren't a virgin. Where you put a tampon is where your hymen is located (or would be). Above it, somewhere. Each girl is different.
I think the general consensus is you aren't a virgin if you have vaginal intercourse.

17/f. My one friend has been kind of mean to me lately and it's pissing me off she always puts me down and she does this to other people to. I'm not sure if she is joking or what (link)
|
I have a similar friend and if you let them treat you like that they probably wont even notice it's happening. You need to let her know that it hurts you when she says things like that. Don't do it in an agressive way, but in a way that shows her you care about the friendship and just want to be treated better.

I want these boots but I don't know what brand they are. They say UGG but they're way too cheap. Here's the link: http://www.wearmi.com/Products.aspx?pid=907082038330814 (link)

That looks like one of those "wholesale" fashion websites. The thing is, their sketchy. You don't know if your getting the real thing or a knock off. In some cases, it can be last seasons stuff that they are selling. Or they might scam you and you don't recieve a product. Do some googling and email the company if you have any questions. Some of these companies are legit and others are not. I found one website that was based in China, and read many reviews that the clothes people ordered got stopped in customs often. Try to use pay pal if possible. If you must pay by credit card, get one of those visa giftcards that only have a preset amount on them, so the site cant charge tons of money on it.
Good luck,

My name is tonia and i am 16 and a female .I dated this guy 4 like 3 weeks and we broke up because he heard from some girl that i cheated on him,and i was a bitch to him well i was but he was one to me too. i do really like him and all but like i don't know what to do he talked shit bout me for awhile bbut then that same day he texted me and saying sorry he misses me and all kinds of other shit but what do i do. plz email me at Tonia_skittles@yahoo.com (link)
|
Hi Tonia,
If you really like this guy, you need to have a serious conversation with him to make things work. Ask him to be open minded and let you get everything out before he speaks.
Explain to him that whatever girl told him things about you was lying (and if anything she said had truth to it, fess up) and tell him your emotions. Tell him that your hurt he believed her before talking to you, that he trusted her over you, and that you miss him. Tell him what you want to make the relationship work but you are going to need him to trust you and talk to you if he ever hears something. Also tell him you won't take him talking about you behind your back. If he can agree then maybe it's worth trying to make the relationship work. Ask him how he feels and if he felt you could do something differently, because if your asking him to make changes then it is only fair you compromise if needed as well.
If he isn't as open to trying as you are, then maybe you are better off as friends. If he seems like someone who brings in drama, it probably isn't worth it. You haven't dated him a long time, so it may be better to get out of it before you get in to deep. Listen to your head on this one.
Good luck,

Would getting a birth control shot or getting put on birth control help me gain weight?
& If so, how should I go about asking my mom about it, I don't want it cause of sex, but I'm just too small! (link)
|
Birth control pills can make some girls gain weight, but that's not the way to go about it!
You can drink high calorie shakes or protein shakes (you might see body builders doing this because they need the energy.) Like the person below me said, gaining muscle is a good idea too. You can look toned without looking masculine. You can start off by getting some dumb bells or hitting the gym.
Don't over do anything. Unless your doctor says you need to do something about your weight, don't let it cause you stress or make you push your body to hard to look a certain way. A body that works 'good' is better than a body that looks good.
And most importantly, you're young and still growing. You will probably fill out as you age, and if you are one of those lucky naturally thin people, enjoy it! Trust me, you are the envy of many. And as a teenage girl, we all look into the mirror and see flaws 10x bigger then anyone else sees when they look at us. If you feel insecure, put on your favorite outfit, do something a little special with your hair or make up, and tell yourself you are beautiful. Because you are, and how big or small you may be has NOTHING to do with it.
Good luck!

i'm not exactly sure what catagory this would fall under, but i was wondering if you start on the birth control just after getting a nipple piercing, could the whole stretch when the boobs start to grow from the pill? (link)
|
I've noticed for sure that boobs do get bigger after taking the pill, but not so rapidly or huge that getting a nippple piercing would have problems.

hi so i am 17, and i really want to get laser hair removal. i live in the uk, and was wondering how much it would cost. also can someone list the types you can get done. also where would i go to make sure i get the safest, and best possible treatment, without it being ridiculously expensive. and also the side effects. also if anyone has had personal experience, it would be amazing to know what you thought!, thanks!
(link)
|
I'm not sure about UK prices, but in the US it's pretty expensive. Sessions (Depending on how large of an area) can easily go over 100$. You most often need more then one treatment to stop the hair growth, so the cost adds up. Here's a quote I pulled from a website:
"The typical cost of laser hair removal is $150 to $500, depending on the area of the body that is being treated. In most cases, the smaller the surface area to be treated, the lower the treatment cost. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average price of laser treatments in the United States is $429."
You can get laser hair removal anywhere on your body basically. I would go to a dermatologist office to get it done properly. You could go to a spa type place, but I would feel more comfortable with a doctor doing it. There are risks and you can get burnt that leaves a permanant scar. I remember a while back reading a blog about a woman who had the treatment on her upper lip and I guess the laser was to hot and used to much on one area and it left a large red scar that needed medical attention. The risks are low but still there.
The prices are probably all in the same area, but I don't suggest going somewhere that offers it too cheap anyway. Make sure the office is clean and ask for testimonials.
Side effects, you will see redness after that fades and thats the usual. Some people see swelling of the area, blistering, or what's called hyper pigmentation (temporary darkening of the skin). Some people complain of pain even after the procedure. Those are symptoms that will go away.
A permanent side effect could be scarring or lighter pigmentation, meaning some areas of your skin might be turned lighter then the rest of your skin.
During the procedure I've read that it feels like a rubber band slap. My friend's mother got it done between her eye brows and was pleased with it. Just be careful with areas like that, because eye brows get thinner as you age and you may find that they are too thin for you later on.
Avoid waxing or plucking the area several weeks before the procedure for the best results. I've also read that it's reccomended to stay out of the sun for a few weeks before.
The results are not completely permanent. After a long period of time (months to years) you will see some hair re-growth.
So take that all into consideration before deciding if it's worth the money and the risks.
Good luck!

I feel as though there's something wrong with me. I'm constantly hung over the fact that people are similar to me in the sense that they have feelings like I do, and that they're able to see the world like how I'm able to see it. It's difficult to explain. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm just in awe over that fact that the world isn't all about me. I've been hung over thinking about this for more than a year now. Has anyone felt this way before? This can't be normal, is it? (link)
|
The fact that you realize the world isn't all about you is a good thing. Obsessing over it may not be, but it's a wonderful thing to know. Selfish people are the worst kind. Use this knowledge to help people! Talk to others who are feeling down, volunteer at hospitals or homeless shelters or where ever you can be of service. Technically we only see the world out of our own eyes, but being able to view it through someone elses eyes is a true talent.
Good luck,
-Abby

I'm currently a teacher. I've switched schools three times now. This is my sixth year teaching. I would like to quit teaching in December and go to graduate school to get my certification in paralegal studies. I've always had such a huge interest in law and I feel that I should pursue that. Financially, I believe that I will be okay. The stress of teaching has had such a negative impact on my life, and I'm currently taking anti-depressants to get through each day. I do not have any sort of "spark" or interest in teaching and cannot quite figure out why I started doing this in the first place. What should I do? (link)
|
If it's hard for you to go into work each morning, then you need to consider changing fields. Life isn't just about money, you have to enjoy it. Now in these bad financial times it may be unwise to quit, but possibly you could go back to school part time for the time being? Take some online courses? Maybe you could do tutoring for money while you go to school, or teach local classes. My math tutor makes 55$ an hour. Do what will ultimately make you happy! My aunt told me to go into the field of my choice and the money will come along later. If you are good at your job then there is always room for improvement or promotion.
Good luck,

about two years ago i had an opperation to take out my right thyroid and a sist that was growing on it. when they took it out and examined it in the lab they found out that it was cancerous and had a type of cancer that is slow growing. they wanted to have another operation on me to take out the rest of my thyroid, give me radioactive serum and give me thyroid pills for the rest of my life.
I went home thought about it and decided not to do the operation because of the risks involved etc. every 6months i have a blood test to check that everything is ok like my thyroid is working well and my iron is good calcium bla bla.aboiut 2 months ago i saw my nurse and she brought up the whole cancer thing and said that i should go to the hospital to get myself checked just to be certain.
what i want to ask what are the symptoms of cancer and how can i check if i have it.i herd that theres no test thats reliable that will determine that you have cancer but what are things i can do in my situation?
any advice would be great thank you :) (link)
|
Symptoms of cancer are incredibly varied and can be invisible for long periods of time. You could have cancer and not even know it. Symptoms also depend on the type of cancer too, sometimes. I suggest you get it checked out by a doctor asap. They can do a biopsy of your other thyroid to see if that is in infected, and maybe areas around the thyroid that was removed incase it spread. If they've taken your blood before then that rules out some cancers. Seeing a doctor is the only way to be sure.
Good luck,
-Abby

What should I use to clean my new flat screen television screen? (link)

They sell special cloth's for cleaning a flat screen, but I don't think they are all that neccesary. You can use a damp cloth or soft duster.
