My hair is now lighter than my eyebrows so how do I dye my eyebrows the same color as my hair? The dye says to not use it on your eyebrows so I don't know what to do! Anyone else do this before?
Dip the cotton swabs in the petroleum jelly and carefully line the area outside of your eyebrows top and bottom with the jelly. This technique will keep any stray color from staining your skin. Do not put the jelly on your eyebrows themselves as this will prevent the color from saturating the eyebrow hairs.
Now dip the old toothbrush into the hair color and gently brush it into your eyebrows in the direction they grow. Be certain not to miss any spots. Do not let the color drip by overloading the brush; you do not want to get any color into your eyes. Be very careful.
When the allotted processing time is reached, first remove the hair color from your eyebrows with a clean wet cloth, make sure to remove any excess on your skin. Now wash the color from your hair and condition as instructed on the package. You’re all set with a fresh new hair color with matching eyebrows. If you decide to go to a hair salon for color, just ask the colorist to do your eyebrows at the same time they are applying the hair color.
