Frizzy hair help

Question Posted Wednesday November 11 2009, 4:27 pm

I am looking for a new line of hair shampoos/treatments. I need a new line that suits my hair, which is frizzy, very dry and damaged, straight but poofy and has a lot of kinks in it.

so far i've found

Pantene Pro-V
-time renewal
-hydrating rinse
-deep treatment
-anti-frizz serum

Aussie
-3 minute miracle
-moist shampoo and conditioner

Garnier
-smoothing milk
-leave in cream/serum

Sunsilk
-thermashine shampoo
-pin straight shampoo

Herbal Essences
-hydralicious shampoo

can anyone give me recommendations or their opinions on any of these lines and products? which ones work better?

thank you!!!

I hear that if you want silkier/shiner hair, comb through some apple cider vinegar.

And if you want your hair to become more manageable and regain it's natural oils, heat up olive oil for about 15 seconds, and rub it through DRY hair. Then, wrap your hair in saran wrap and blow dry your hair while the saran wrap is on it. While your head is still hot, place a towel around it and let your hair sit for at least 25-30 minutes.

If those don't work, buy "cholesterol" at your local drugstore.
What that is, is a leave in hair conditioner that makes your hair soft, smooth, and healthy.

I've had dry hair and I've used these methods and they've all worked great! My hair is shiny, smooth, healthy, and more manageable then ever before!

Also, look for hair masks that are for your hair type.

Hope that helps.
Good luck!<3

Ask me if you need anything elsee

Anything with sulfates will dry your hair out more. If you must choose out of those, I'll go with the Aussie.

Damaged, frizzy and dry. You need to shampoo less and condition more. Use leave in conditioners. I would leave a mix of extra virgin olive oil and sulfate free conditioner in my hair overnight. Mix in a bowl and heat it up for 10 seconds in the microwave. Hot oil treatment!

Also poofy! You probably need to get a trim, layers or get it thinned out.

out of these i like the aussie 3 minute miracle. it makes your hair soooo soft. and sunsilk pin straight if you want straight hair (also works really well with a straightener).

the pantene time renewal made my hair frizzier...

ive never used the products youve mentioned from garnier, but usually theyre products that ive used (hair dye, shampoo) leave my hair really nice. so id suggest that BRAND as well.

now i use infusium 23 (frizz)ologie and i love it :) it makes my hair way less frizzy and soft. also i recommend the dove therapy for either frizz or intense damage (i think thats what its called, its dark bluish)

if you straighten your hair, give it a break and scrunch it. my recommendation for gel is 'curl' by LA looks, because it doesnt make it crunchy :)

frequent hair cuts will help you slowly get rid of damaged hair and help your hair look not as frizzy and return it to its original beauty.

try to condition your hair a good amount before goin in the pool or the ocean , because that can make your hair very frizzy.

good luck :)
