yes it can. When being anorexic there can be hormonal imbalances and nerve damage, which in turn may affect sex drive. If you are anorexia please get help it is not healthy and there are healthier ways to loose weight. I am saying from experiance. okay. i have been going out with my boyfriend for almost 1/2 a year now (on the 24th itll be a half a year). my boyfriend loves to sleep, hes always tired. whenever i hang out with him, no matter where it is. hell fall asleep. i dont know how to take that, as an insult? maybe he has lymes? i dont know. even at my friends houses.. he falls asleep, he like passes out on their bed. and at my house. if were just hanging out. he passes out.
i have talked to him about it many times, i told him it bothers me. i was sick for almost a month, and he yelled at me for falling asleep almot every time we hung out. but it was the medicine that made me fall asleep. so he yelled at me, ever since i havent fallen asleep. but, him being a hypocrit has fallen asleep so i give him the cold shoulder every time he does fall asleep.

Okay so me and my boyfriend have been together for 6 months and we're ready to have sex, he's 18 I'm 16, blah blah blah....
Anyways, I went to the store and bought a box of condoms to be prepared. I looked at all the different types and I decided to go with Trojan Spermicidal, the lubricated one. Now I already know that I do not realy need the lubricant because I get wet pretty quick but what I was wondering was how good does this kind work. I mean I know many that use it and don't get prego, but they're all on birth control and unfortunately I am not nor do I have access. My mom would flip and I don't live near free clinics.
But besides that, Can anyone maybe tell me how good these are to prevent pragnancy, maybe even what actions to take like pull out or what not? I'm only asking because the box said that they are proven to reduce the number of active sperm but scientists have not been able to figure out what percentage more.

I have never used that kind before but I do know that no matter what with any condom you have to be carefull! Propper use is key. If you really want to be safe pull out. If you have the condom it should be ok but just to be on the safe side. I was on birth control and my husband and I still got pregnant. Since then we have been having sex with no birth control only condoms and so far so good. We usually get Trojan but really what ever is on sale. So I know no one would remember but I posted a few questions up here a few months ago about this senior in my school who would always look at me but nothing ever happened..BUT we're hanging out this weekend :] and im excited but EXTREMELY nervous. we're both shy people and we have never ever talked in person before or at all for that matter so i'm thinking its going to be very awkward. my friend, who is friends with one of his friends, set us up. we're hanging out at one of his friends house whom i've never talked to (more awkwardness). I have purchased many many pets for all suplies and the guinea pig it will prob. be about $100-150. Not cheap but you want good supplies and it takes a lot to start. A hint about guinea pigs they like to have friends. So if you can get 2 of them do that!!! I got two and they were so much fun! They are a great pet,good choice!

freshman in highschool.
so my high school dance team tryouts are coming up and i want to try out sooooo bad!
because i wanna be in it so bad! like i want it more than anything else. im not even kidding i want it so bad.
well there having three dance classes for about hour and a half before the day of tryouts and their free and im going, theres to teach you the dance u need to know for tryouts and thats it. but i heard its for eperienced dancers and i've only taken dance 1 at school. but i figured as long as i have the potential, confidence, and i i know the dance really good ten i have just as good of chance than anybody else.
am i right?
and im barelt even nervous about tryouts (which is weird) im more worried about if i DO get accpeted that my parents are gonna make me drop out becuase it SOOOOOOOO expensive, im talkin thosands and thousands of dollars. cause theres practice almost every day and even in the summer! we would go to california and various camps. it would be so much fun and im fully devoted!
but what can i do about money????
my parents are divorced so basically everything is 50% off cause they split it but its still a lot and you can pay it in payments... i cant get a job cause

If I am already 10 months into my Verizon Contract and I want to add my Aunt does she sign a new contract or do I or what? I don't really care about the contract thing...I just want to know if she can get one of the free phones for joining Verizon.
She could get one of the free phones but if you had the plan for only 10mon. thare is a good chance that they may not allow you to add another phone. I know for a few other cell phone plans they don't allow you to add a phone till 12mon and I think one was even 24mon. I would just call them and ask.Good Luck!

I need some opinions... Around February 7-10, I was ovulating.. I did not know, but I had sex that day... unprotected and he might have ejaculated inside... I found out I was ovulating AFTER the incident lol. About a week after.. I started experiencing some MEAN hunger... I was more sensitive, emotional, moody... Same goes for week two.. And now, this is week three... I'm experiencing some symptoms as how it would feel having my period.. but no sign of it.. I'm still sensitive and emotional.. still more hungrier than usual, and i've gained weight... I took a HPT after 2 weeks and 1 day.. And it came out negative.. What are you guys' ideas? Oh and I've also experienced heartburn which rarely happens.. thanks in advanced!
Well,yes it sounds like you are but keep in mind that some women if they have the idea of being pregnant can have the signs of it but not be. So I would relax and wait untill you have missed your period to take another test. Keep in mind most women don't even find out they are pregnant untill they are 4-6weeks pregnant. I was 2mon with my first when I found out and 2weeks when I knew but was able to get a positive test when I was 4 weeks. So, be patient and GOOD LUCK!

I'm 18/f and a college freshman.
I dated this boy on and off throughout high school, and we were still great friends when our relationship ended this past summer. He had been in a really bad, near fatal car wreck last March, but he was recovering and doing more than the doctors ever said he could.
I found out last Thursday afternoon that he had committed suicide last Wednesday night (he had ODd on his pain pills and they found a near empty bottle of everclear next to his bed). I still don't believe it was suicide... I mean, that's what they're saying, but I know him so well and just can't bring myself to believe it... he must have just been in a lot of pain.. IDK.. I guess it was suicide... Anyway, I've been really incredibly angry that he would do that (suicide or not... all those pills and alcohol!) to me, his mom, and his cousin - the three people who loved him most - not to mention any other friends.
A few years ago, his half sister was killed from drinking and driving, and I can't seem to bring myself to think that he would leave his mom all alone...
Rather than making me sad, I'm just .. pissed off that he would do this - leave us all here to wonder why and to pick up the pieces all over again. I'm even more pissed that he's left me here to deal with his sisters death all by myself (her and I were BEST friends, and I blamed myself for her death)...
Anyway... am I crazy for being so angry with him?! I mean, of course I'm sad that he's gone, but my anger is overpowering every other feeling I have...
I don't know if I have the right thing to say but I did want to say that I am very very sorry for both of your losts.
I also want to say that I don't think it is uncommon to feel the way you do. That is very normal.
What might help is if you go to a counsulor and talk to them about it. Just getting it all off your chest and they know how to put stuff together. It helps just to talk sometimes.
I had a stepdad pass away, he was like my dad, and I still after 12yrs have to talk about it just to handle it.

If that dosn't work do something silly like go bowling and see if you can decorate your area for your birthday. That is always fun kinda bring you back to fun childhood birthdays.
Go to different locations like boweling, min. golf, laser tag, stuff like that. Just do a bunch of things in one night.

If ya want to do a nice dinner get chicken. Really easy to make. Get boneless/ skinless chicken and put in oven for like 30min at 350degrees. Then make potato soup from a can and when that is done spread over your chicken. Then also, you can put some greens like asperagus or beans, or something. Then for deseart go to like hersheys.com and look at those recipies.
I am the worst cook ever but my husband really likes this meal. It is really easy and really cheap!!!

i'm 16. my ex and i went out for 10 month. separated for four and then got back together for two weeks. I foudn out that he had turned into someone totally different/player. okay well the past tow days my lower abbs have been hurting really bad, i went the the bathroom and my uraine came out very slow and painfully,than as the day went on it started to hurt more and i always felt as if i had to be when i didnt. when i went to the bathroom their was a ridiculious amount of pain while peeing like something was trying to come out that couldnt.I look in the toilet to find out i was peeing and blood was comming out it happend twice today.im not a virgin .Green tea is the only thing i drink and people in the past i know have had kidney stones from it.
i researched it, im not sure if its a urinary track infection or kidney stones. Im not too sure of anyof this because it had never happend before,if anyone has any idea what this is please help! thank you so much!

Ok, Im a sixteen year old male.
Me and my girl friend decided it would be romantic to lose our virginity on valentines day- I don't want any lectures about underage sex and what not. We did use a condom.
But she has been complaining about her chest and lower stomach hurting...I'm not wanting to think about it but could she be pregnant? There wasn't a break in the condom so I have no idea...

Ok to move on.... No she shouldn't be pregnant not unless the condom really did break.... It would be to soon to tell anyway. Feb. 14 was like what a week ago... You definitly can't tell in 1 week if your pregnant. It usually takes 4-6weeks unless you def. know what you are looking out for.
For a lot of women the first time is scary and may get worried about nothing. Also having sex for the first time for the most part can hurt a women. It is sensitive for women. She will get use to it and the pain will go away.
As you said you don't want lectures but I will say ALWAYS WEAR A CONDOM! That is all I am going to say.
This is a lot of information but if you are ready to have sex you can handle hearing all the female issues that go with.

im so confused.
this is kinda long.
im stuck between two guys and the thing is, i cant decide who i'd rather be with.
ok so guy number 1 i have liked on an off since last year. The thing about him is, there will be times when he talks to me, hints that he likes me, and goes and ignores me for a while. This had been happening on and off until a couple of weeks ago. I dont know how it happened, but he ended up telling me that he liked me. And then we pretty much totally opened up to each other. He told me all this stuff, for example
"Your pretty nice and attractice i think your gorgeous and you have a nice body"
he also said some other stuff like that 2.
however it seems like hes a totally different person while texting. in school he will sometimes walk right past me without saying hey and he doesnt seem like he is interested in me in when i see him. this was a week or 2 ago. then we started not texting as much and it seems like the whole cycle is starting over again....
except i will catch him staring at me sometimes and he will come up and talk to me again just when i convince myself hes not interested.

Forget about guy 1. Trust me if he just walks by you like that then he will so much worse in a relationship.
Guy 2 sounds better. Go to your friend and talk to her. Be honest and tell her how you feel about him and ask if she would mind. Then try to go out with this guy and get to know him better and then later on tell him how you feel.
If she nothing happens with guy 2 then I would start a new search.

It is your period. If it continues for a while say in a week then I would do a pregnancy test and if that comes back negitive then go to your doctor. I wouldn't worry about it being a STD or anything. My guess your period. Good Luck!!
