I am the oldest in my family and i have two younger brothers and a younger sister. It seems like my mom hates me because she never listens to my side of the story. She automaticly assumes i should get grounded when my brothers and sister tell the story. There is way more to it but i don't think that i can get into all that. (link)

I know exactly how you feel. Try to stand up for yourself or even catch your mom alone. Tell her the whole story and how you feel when she abandons your side of the story. This will allow you to talk it through and maybe end up with a better outcome.

I went to my formal party last night and this guy asked me to dance with him so I said ok, since I was sitting out most of the night so I was grinding with the guy and my crush was right there! he knows I like him but I dunno if he likes me back, like he told me he has a g/f, but he stares at me a lot, we don't really know eachother, we had classes together and we spoke on msn a few times but I don't want him to think anything of me because of the way I was dancing with guy, and I saw his friends looking at me a couple of times during the night and he looked my way a few times too. but I just wanted to have some fun before the night ended and I hope he doesn't think I like that guy, I wanted to dance with my crush sooo badly but he was dancing with his boys for the whole night and he didn't dance with any girls...am I overreacting? You were just trying to have fun. Remember guys want what other guys have. So therefore, you may have made him jealous. Which, made him notice you more. Maybe try to talk to him casually sometime, get to know him. Maybe tell him the kid was just a friend.

well, guys usually are shy about the whole thing cause they usually like it when girls run after them. If you are between 11-13, then you may just want to wait. From my own experiences, you should probably maybe get to know the kid a little better and get to be best friends. Thats what happened to me, a boy told me he didn't like me, but i know he did, then after we became best friends, he became my boyfriend! So my best bet for you is to talk to him/ get to know him better.
