Like I said, talk to him alone and let him know that you want to know how he REALLY feels, and you want to hear it from HIM. Even if it IS true that he doesn't like you, you can still be friends :)
kjam21 answered Saturday February 21 2009, 1:36 pm: i disagree with the other answer. if you become best friends wtih a guy and you become BFs with him. what if you break up? your friendship is ruined. boys are shy. if your friends say that he likes you than find out the source. it all depends. say for ex. it came from the guys best friend. i would beleive that. but usually friends aren't always the best source because they just want to spare your feelings. jen381 answered Saturday February 21 2009, 11:56 am: well, guys usually are shy about the whole thing cause they usually like it when girls run after them. If you are between 11-13, then you may just want to wait. From my own experiences, you should probably maybe get to know the kid a little better and get to be best friends. Thats what happened to me, a boy told me he didn't like me, but i know he did, then after we became best friends, he became my boyfriend! So my best bet for you is to talk to him/ get to know him better. [ jen381's advice column | Ask jen381 A Question ]
SkyLi answered Saturday February 21 2009, 9:13 am: Hi!
First how old is this boy? If he's young (13,14, younger) then he may just trying to dodge the whole relationship thing. Remember guys don't mature until after girls usually. Listen to him. If he doesn't like you that way don't make him like you. It's his loss, not yours. He may just not be ready for a relationship. If you ask him in front of others his response could be different than when you ask him over the phone or in person privately. If you haven't talked to him one-one-one try that and see how it works.
Good luck!
