Okay, here's the deal. You can't just THINK you're ready to have sex. You have to KNOW that you're ready. I'm sure you believe you love him (and maybe you really are in love -- sometimes it's hard to tell). But if you don't know for sure, a hundred and fifty percent sure that you want to have sex with him, you shouldn't. Give it time. Take things a little slower. Make sure you're really ready, or you could be making a big mistake.

I think that your girlfriend is definitely scared of what everyone else thinks -- and she has reason to be. I mean, not everyone will just accept that you're together, and you have to understand that. I think you should talk to her and see how she's really feeling. See if she wants to break up, or if she is confused about what she feels for you (or girls in general). It could end in a breakup, but that's better than being with someone and not knowing how they truly feel. Good luck.

hi . ok well im 14 and last weekend my friend and i went to the movies and she wanted to invite her b/f who's 17 . well his friend who is 18 drove here and stayed . well we went into the movie "open water" but then they threw us out cuz we were underage or sum shyt . so we left the theater cuz there was nuffin else betta to see . so we stayed by the guys car and were wondering what to do . so we sat in the car and listened to music and like 3 min. later he's pulling out of the parking spot and he's like " lets go driving round" and i was panicking cuz like what if he got into a car accident or got pulled ova . and i seriously thot i was guna piss my pants literally . so i told him to turn the car around and go bak to the movies . and well my friends paretns idnt evn kno that her boyfriend was meeting us at the movies and my parents didnt evn kno i was that movies and so he turned bak and dropped us off and we got ou and sat ona bench , and then they take off in the car and ditch us .but i feel rly bad lying and sneaking around like that cuz i nevr usually do that stuff , so i can i get guilt this guilt off my chest?????? it means A LOT to me whatevr ur answer is cuz nethng wuld work right now. thanx
I think that if you tell your parents the whole story they'll understand. Make sure they know you've never ever done something like this before, and that you're really sorry. Tell them you're willing to accept the consequences. You did make a mistake. But if you tell them, everything will be over and done with and they'll be happy that you were honest with them.

Alright, getting your cartilage pierced HURTS. Badly. Getting your second holes in the lobes really isn't that bad, I've had that done. I think that double-pierced looks better, and that getting your cartilage pierced hurts twenty times as much.

-Both of you get an STD test (even if it's your first time). Some diseases are sexually transmitted, but you can also get them in other ways (in other words, your guy can be a virgin, but still have an STD -- even if it's herpes that he transmitted from his mouth to his genitals).
-You're on birth control. Awesome.
-Yes, you need to wear a condom. Birth control is only so effective, and you can still get STD's even if you're on birth control.

Well sometimes lumps in your breasts can mean that it's just growing. Is it only the one breast that's bothering you? Or is it both? Are both growing pretty equally? If there's something abnormal as far as growth goes, or if you just feel very uncomfortable (as far as your health goes), you should probably talk to a doctor. Chances are it's normal, but if it would make you feel more comfortable, I say talk to someone.

Well, is this a guy you know in real life, or someone you met online? Because that does make a difference. For instance, people you meet online aren't necessarily who you think they might be. You have more chance of getting hurt, because you don't really have that same bond as, say, someone you go to school with. If it's a guy you know personally, I think you should talk to him. Ask him if he likes you, and see what he says. Tell him to be honest, and make sure he knows that you won't be mad at him for liking someone else. I know you like him, but if he likes someone else you can't exactly change that. Let things be the way they are.

I LOVE basketball, it's almost like my life. I love playing, even though I'm not that good. My new school started practices today, and they are making the cut next week. So far we have 15 girls, but we can only have 18. School starts next week which will mean more competition. I'm really nervous, because I'm not horrible but when scrimmaging/playing in a game, i get really nervous and I lose my head. I mess everything up. I really want to make this team. Does anyone have advice to help me get better and focus? THX
Seriously, try meditating before a game or scrimmage. Just sit down in a quiet place (it can even be a school bathroom stall) and take everything off your mind: the game, family, school, everything. Clear it completely. And make sure you're confident -- if you think you're going to do badly, you will. Hope I helped!

This isn't weird. And it's actually pretty normal. Nipples tend to differ (just like breast sizes). You can have the biggest breasts in the world, but have the smallest nipples -- or vice versa. It really just depends on your body. Plus, you still have years to grow. If your breasts/nipples don't really change, that's okay -- it doesn't mean that you're weird or anything. But chances are that within a few years, they'll change. x) Hope I helped.

Well, I'd think seriously about which guy would be better for you. Which one do you feel more comfortable with? Age doesn't really matter, unless you're having sex, but I wouldn't go out with someone that's your age as opposed to someone older, just because he's your age.

I have pretty much quite tanned skin , and recently , i have noticed little dots on my upper arms that are of a lighter shade comapred to the skin colour of my arms . they're so ugly ? Hey on my legs i have these little red bumps and sometimes they have 2 hairs growing outta it and it bugs me because i have a wedding soon and it looks like i have freakin pimples on my leg!! how do i get it to go away?? For the bumps on your legs: it could be your shaving cream or razor. Try changing it. If that doesn't work, you should maybe talk to a dermatologist. He/she will be able to tell you if these bumps are normal, and what you can do (if anything) to get rid of them.
For pimples: try flouride toothpaste. I usually pop the pimple, then put a little dab of toothpaste on it, and it brings the oil to the surface. I'd suggest doing it at night, where you won't be bothering with it. This may not work for everyone, though.
For stretch marks, try Mederma. It's a scar medicine (you can buy it at the drug store) and the commercial says it works wonders on stretch marks.

First of all, there is no "average age" for first kisses. People are different. Don't worry about this.

okay, I am an advice columnist here and a lot of what I run into was this fake persona of enviromentalists and people concerned with hate in the world. Why is this instantly called a pot-smoking hippi? I do not understand why anyone could say that about people they have never met. This is really negative and completly unhelpful and also unrealistic considering that we are only a little way off from global warming and multiple lung problems do to our air quality. This has really been bugging me. I don't expect everyone to agree to want to change the world but why cant they atleast show respect for others concerns?
