well usually. they dont catch you. but you happen to be caught. you may get ISS. or detention. its rare that you are caught. just be smart about it. and if its the type of teacher that will write you up then dont skip that class. common sense. but you would most likely get ISS.

ok so my mom is an alcoholic and shes gotton 2 DUI's and she's gotton in a drinking and driving accident and shes gone to rehab and goes to alot of AA meetings but she still drinks aout oncce or twice a week and the only peoeple in my house is my mom and my little sister and me, since my dad died of cancer a few years ago. and since im the oldest i have responsibilty for the family since my mom cant really take care of me and my sister. i really want to talk to her and try to live a normal life but i dont know how. i just need advice on what your opinion would be on waht i should do. Im sorry. I really am. My mom is an alcoholic also. I know from first hand experience how hard it is to deal with. I have a younger brother, and my dad doesnt live with us. If you have a close family member, calling them and telling them the situation usually helps. I have tried talking to my mom about not drinking, she gets defensive and it usually makes her drink more. So i would say dont try to talk to her about it. I have learned how to take care of my brother and myself without my mothers help. For me the hardest part about having an alcoholic parent is that when they have to drive you places, or when they are with your friends. I know it is very very hard to live with. Im not sure what to tell you what to do, because i havent figured that out yet either. You will get through it. Just remember that, and remember when you are older, dont drink. I will never drink, because alcoholism runs in the family, and i am damn scared to have it. I dont want to put my family through anything like i had to go through. And you wouldnt want your family to have to go through what you are going through now. Goodluck. Talking to friends and family helps. I hope everything works out. It will eventually be over, just pull through.

for high school, we're aloud to carry around a backpack during the day. do you reccomend this (because our classes could be in seperate buildings & i don't know where my locker will be related to my classes)? also, where are some places you can get backpacks that are cute and not to big? or, what are your recommendations for types/styles of backpacks? thanks (link)

I use a bookbag for highschool. I tried the locker thing. When you leave something in it, sucks for you. With a bookbag at least you have one. I have a jansport bookbag. Not to big, not to small. It isnt a big deal. Just no rolling bookbags. Thats a little "geeky". But honestly. No one will judge you on your bookbag choice.

i am 15 years old going into my sophomore year and i have never been kissed and only had 1 boyfriend which we hung out but it wasnt like a real boyfriend, i use to do modeling and i was on the cheerleading team in middle school i know i am not ugly and people think i am pretty, some guys do like me and guys ask me out but i always turn them down, i have 2 older brothers and a little sister, my brothers are protective so i never want to have a guy around me or bring any guys to my house. is there something wrong with me? when people find out i havnt kissed a guy or done anything like that think i am weird or not likeable. but i do want a boyfriend i just have a hard time getting one i like, is anyone else like this? i dont know what to do! I am 15 also. And going into the 10th grade. I havent had a real boyfriend or been kissed either. If it is weird then we are weird together. I dont worry about it though. There are lots of guys out there. One will come. I think I have found a good one now. You will too.

OK, well, I've always had a problem getting soft contacts in...i could put the hard ones in because they're small...since i want to get day and night contacts and i want to get contacts im sick of glasses//taking them in and out every day does anyone have any like techniques for putting them in? thank you! okay. here is what i do.
- make sure you have nothing on your fingers
- put the contact on your right pointer finger, in the shape of a bowl
- with you left hands pointer finger pull the top of your eye up (enabaling you to blink)
- then with your right middle finger pull down the bottom of your eye
- leaving you your right pointer finger right there
- look into the mirror and put it on your pupil.
- it should stick.
- blink
- if it doesnt work try again.

i have a trojan horse virus.
i have no idea how i got it.
because i've been SO carful.
i cant tell my mom because she'll get

we have norton anti virus & it wont get rid of it.

download PC cillion. i think thats how you spell it. then run it. it will find it. then put it into quarantine. then delete the files. it should be gone. or at least better.

No. They dont hurt very much. Like a pinch, if that, afterwards though my arm was pretty sore. just when i would lift it. dont worry about it, it will be over in a matter of 2 seconds. isnt a big deal.

Please answer only if you have experince in ballet or know someone who does...
I am a female, age 14, and I weigh 140lbs (about). Do you think I am too fat to do pointe work? Am I too fat to have a partner? What can I do to ensure that I will be able to start pointe in the fall? (I have to please my teacher and it is totally her choice wether or not I can take pointe) Do you think I need to loose weight for this? Thank you so much

Okay. I am a ballerina. I have taken ballet for a good 15 years. No way hun, you are not to big to do pointe work. When i see "larger" girls doing pointe I admire them, you can do it! You do not have to be a twig to do pointe work. It looks pretty on anyone, just got to work at it like everyone else twig or not. partnering, im not sure. 140 pounds isnt very much. i say good luck. but you can definitely do pointe work. dont be so hard on yourself.

I was at cheerleading practice yesterday and I must have turned my neck the wrong way to fast cause it popped and started burning. It went away for a minute, then I got this excrusiating pain in my neck. I can't turn it to the right, or lean it back, and if I'm laying down I have to use my hand to pull my neck up when I want to stand up. Has this happened to anyone before, and how long will it last? thanks =] (link)

my brother pulled my hair once and it did the same thing. i couldnt move it left right up or down. my mom called it stiff neck. it will go away within a few days. just lay back relax and let it heal.

let me put this in short version. i met a boy we really clicked he told me how he felt about me and we were just really close.. he left for a week and i saw pictures of him making out with another girl..
and i asked him about it and he said he has been wanting to go see her for a year and a half now.
when he comes back to my state should i forget him?
(he makes out with 7th graders too i learned)
or should i just not date him..
we wearnt exactly dating yet
but he sure made it seem like we were going too...
i threw up three times because of this.
i really believed he wouldnt be like all the other boys but he was...
and i like it when its JUST me and ONE boy..
so my question is.
should i forget him and move on?

move on. i meet this guy also. i went away for a week. everything was different. he had a girlfriend, a whole new group of friends. and we didnt talk as much. he made it seem like we were going to go out. and even now he still does. i try not to look at him that way anymore. i want him to know that i dont take that shit. if he does it now, he will once you are a couple. forget him. you certainly deserve better then an ass. it may be hard but you got to do it. good luck. girl. dont let him make you so upset that you puke, he isnt worth it. no guy is. even though they have the power to do that to all of us. at the moment you must move on. maybe later once he proves to you that he is a genuine guy you can think about him again in that way. but be careful once a player. always a player.

Ok so at the moment I am in hawaii at my aunts house and the place is INVESTED with roaches. usually i wouldnt mind them, but yesterday they were all over my bed and it was gross. we dont have time for an exterminator and wouldnt want one because of a price...so does anyone know any homemade tricks on how to trap roaches? i heard theres one trick about peanut butter and a jar but im not sure... you can buy roach motels.. thats what they are called.. they trap the roaches.. put them everywhere.. they work.. but thats pretty gross. put a net over your bed.

hey dont worry about it. my aunt didnt start her period until she was 17. it will happen. believe me all this waiting around for it and it sucks. enjoy the time when you dont have it. as soon as it starts you will want it to go away. so dont worry about it. it will happen.

hey.. i dance ballet.. and this is an option that you should keep open.. i funky ballet routine.. i love classical and funky ballet. on pointe shoes it could be really cool.. it just makes your legs look beautiful.. just keep that an option..

Does anyone know what the beginning stages of falling in love are like? Because I think I'm falling for a guy at work. These are my symptoms: constantly thinking about him with a smile on my face; friends asking me why I'm smiling (I'm not even aware of it it's because I'm thinking about him); getting butterflies when I see him; blushing when he looks at me. I also think he feels the same way about me. He works at the same store as me. About a month ago I went for drinks with him and some other co-workers. He was staring at me and smiling at me when I was dancing; and at work lately he's been staring at me and when I walked into the staffroom the other day as soon as I walked in he was staring at me and held my gaze. When he walks down my department he will look down the aisle to see if I'm working.
Do you think I'm in love with him? And more importantly do you think he's falling in love with me? When we look at each other I feel like I can't breathe. (link)

i was in the exact type of situation.. i think that i was falling in love with this guy.. and i think he was falling in love with me. when he died... i swear i have never had anything worse to go through in my entire life. especially since i hadnt told him how i felt. my advice to you is to talk to him, speak up. before you lose the chance... the pain of losing a loved one that you have never talked to is the worst thing that could ever happen... i am still not over it and he died january 19... so talk to him..

hey. dont worry about your period. you will get it soon enough. as soon as you do you will want to give it back. believe me. but yeah for your mom. i was the same way. i thought about how do i tell her and things. when it happens you just do. it really isnt a big deal. just relax and enjoy not having a period.

Last night i was sleeping and all of a sudden i felt this extreme pain in my calf..it subsided after a minute or so. My mom thinks this is a charlie horse. I wans't in any weird position or anything..and this happened the other night too..what could be the cause of it? (link)

i am a ballet dancer and i get them very often. i am not sure what causes them but i think it has to do with activity with your legs. stressful activities. but when i get them i almost start crying because it hurts so bad. what i do is reach down to my leg and massage the muscle. it helps.
