i have to go to a graduation party tomorrow and theres a swimming pool and everyones gunna be swimming! well i just got my period for the first time thursday night ( graduation party's sunday) should i swim? and if i do do i wear a tampon? please help what do i do? (link)

Of course you can still go swimming, just wear a tampon. And the water will actually slow down your flow so you won`t bleed as much anyway. Be sure to bring a few extras just in case too.

No, there`s no way to "speed it up," just be prepared for when it comes so it`s not too inconvenient, like carry a purse around w/ pads in it just in case.

I am getting my room put in the basement but the problem is that the room I'm going to be in has a door to the laundry room so people will constantly be going through my room. Is there a wall or divider type thing I can put between the two rooms that is cheap? If you have specific stores that carry such things, or ideas for ways I could divide the room, please tell me! You can get a curtain, or make a divider with bookshelves or something. Go to IKEA, they have tons of furniture and stuff for this.

With a cat, you have to clean the litter box.. And that smells horrible. But with a dog, you have to give it constant attention and walk it regularly. I would recommend a dog because they don`t smell as bad, but you have to wash them.

Think about it.. Would you rather have a temporary relationship or a long term education ? This year is really important college-wise, and you need to stay on track and keep up with your school work, and that should be the first priority. But if you can handle both, go for it! ;)

i find myself hitting guys everytime they make fun of me, dont listen, or for being rude and sometimes other girls. I know i don't hit them hard i don't try to but i do it alot. so am i abusive? how can i stop?

It doesnt mean that you`re abusive.. But it probably get on their nerves after a while, so I suggest stopping.. You don`t want them to get mad at you for it, or really hurt them. Next time they make fun of you, just give them a mean look or laugh it off. Because wouldn`t you feel guilty if you really did hurt them ?

When I tried it, it barely worked.. The hair has to be pretty long for it to do much. My friend also got these weird, huge, red bumps all over her legs where she used it. It also smells horrible, and you smell like it for a day or so. It takes a while to do also. I think shaving is just easier, and not as bad smelling !

Yeah, a scrapbook is a good idea. Get a blank one at a craft store, and gather up all your old pictures with your friends.. Get movie tickets, notes, lyrics, inside jokes, and such.. You can get pretty stuff like stickers and borders for the pages at the craft store too, to make it look nice. Just remember, either take a lot of time on it or don`t do it at all, because this is what they will remember you by.
Or you could make a memory box. Just take a shoebox, and collage the outside with pictures of you all and pictures from magazines, with glue or paper mache. Then, in the box, put memorable things such as notes and pictures, and things that you significantly remember from your time here.. You could also write them a long letter or poem, telling them how much they mean to you and all the good times you had..

For the car ride, bring a cd player/mp3 player, books, magazines, and a pillow. Also earplugs in case your family annoys you, lol.
For there, be sure to bring a phone and phone book, to keep in touch with your friends. Bring money to go shopping. Maybe bring a skimboard, or buy one there, and learn how. Bring a long book that you really like, or bring a summer assignment you have to work on. Bring a journal to write it when you`re bored.. stuff like that. If you can, take a laptop (if you have one) to instant message and stuff..

Hey i love my jeans with holes in them and i have a couple pair of jeans without holes in them. i was wondering how i could put holes in them so it looked natural not like i just took scissors and just cut a hole in them. thank you! xoxo_* (link)

Put on the jeans, and make a tiny mark with a pen around where you want the hole(s) to be. Then take them off and rub sandpaper (hard) on the area where the pen mark is. Keep doing this until you get a good sized hole, then pull a few strings to make it look more worn. Put them in the wash. Hope I helped =)

Abortion - I think it really depends on the circumstances.. If you were raped or in a similar circumstance, I think it`s fine. But if you did have sex, and it was your own decision, I don`t think it`s right.
Gay Marriage - C0MPLETELY F0R. If two people are in love, it shouldn`t matter if they are the same sex or different.

So, there is this guy and I still really like him, but we already went out and I'm pretty sure he doesn't even think about me as more than a friend anymore. The thing is he isn't really "boyfriend material". He gets bored of one girl and then goes to the next. I still like him, but I know I shouldn't because I'll just get hurt again.
I am trying to get over him. I've tried so much! But it seems like even when I'm hanging with my friends I am like... fakely happy. None of my friends know I still like him.

Oh wow, I know how you feel.
Instead of thinking about him constantly, try noticing the other guys. There are guys that actually deserve your attention, guys that WiLL like you. Try going out to the mall or the beach with your friends, and talk to some guys. Flirt like mad, and you`ll get over this guy.
And since none of your friends know, try talking to them about it. They ARE your friends, and they are there for you when you need help and advice... Go to them. =)
