It really depends on the girl. Some girls bleed, some dont', some feel pain, while others don't. You possibly were a bleeder :P Some girls actually don't even get a chance to break their hymen during sex because a lot of things (falling of a bike, etc.) while you're younger, can cause your hymen to break without you even knowing.

All of my friends are at the beach now without me, again (for the 3rd year in a row because I'm grounded again). I want to look good when they get back, as in I want a really nice tan. there are three things you could do:

1. apply a tanning lotion and sit out in the sun (i suggest banana boat ultramist continuous spray suncreen deep tanning oil, it has spf in it so it'll actually protect you from the sun while making you tan)!

2. go to the local tanning beds which will pretty much tan you instantly.

3. self tanner (i suggest jergen's natural glow, it'll show results in 3 days.

curl your hair with a 1/2 inch curler, let the curls cool and run your fingers through your hair, then take a rattail comb and start teasing random sections of hair (make sure to tease the crown too so you can get some volume!), start pinning the ENDS of your hair loosely, and leave a few pieces of hair out as you wish, there you go!

This probably sounds really stupid but I heard something on TV the other day about somebody (Demi Moore, I think) being a raw foodist. haha it sounds weird but I don't know what it is...

it's pretty much someone who prepares and eats raw food daily as a healthy way of living. sometimes it can be dangerous to eat raw meats and dairy products if it's not prepared right and the meats are usually "fermented" in jars to be eaten.

yeah, it's amazing what people will eat to not gain weight, haha.

What are some really good vegetarian dishes or recipes from your own recipe box or experiences?

i don't know what kind of food you like, but i would suggest tofu tacos. they are so delicious! i'm not a vegetarian, but i like to be healthy sometimes;

you'll need:

- half of an onion, chop it.
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed.
- 1 bell pepper, chopped.
- 1 tb veggie oil.
- half a pound of tofu, crumbled.
- 1 Tb chili powder.
- 1/4 tb of cumin and oregano.
- 1 Tb soy sauce.
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce.
- corn tortillas (how many you want).

saute the onion, garlic, and bell peppers in the veggie oil for 2-3 mins, then add the tofu, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and soy sauce. cook that for 3 mins, then add the tomato sauce and simmer over low heat 'til the mixture is pretty much dry.

heat the tortillas in a skillet and put all your fillings in it! you can always top it with sour cream, guacamole, etc if you'd like.

yes, mascara has millions of germs in it because it's always touching your eyes and eyelashes (which help dust to stay away from the eyes) so your mascara tube has dust, germs, etc. usually when people use each other's make up, it could cause pink eye or other infections.

i suggest you to throw away the mascara you have now and buy a new one and make sure not to share with anyone or use anyone else's!

okay well i appreciate you answering my question about lip peircing before, and now i have some other basic questions about it.

1) does it leave a scar if you decide to take the piercing out and let it close? if so, how bad/noticeable is it?

2) is it really hard to eat? what foods should i stay away from if i get my lip done?

1) it can leave a bad scar if it's been infected, but most of the time it will leave a slight brown mark that will disappear within a week or so.

2) it's not hard to eat at all! just make sure to eat slowly and carefully though just in case when you first get it done so you don't end up accidently tearing something!

i'll be completely honest and jokes aside: us women have no clue what we want! it's as if women just want everything and it's very difficult to pinpoint exactly where we are coming from.

most likely because it wasn't soaked very much. trying to remove dry cotton from your "area" isn't the nicest feeling in the world :P also, i could be because it just didn't sit totally properly in your vagina and when you pulled it out, it just felt a little weird on your vaginal walls.

I'm not going to bore with details. Over half a decade ago, I met my first love, who after barely a year, tore my heart out and broke my confidence in myself. I attempted to repair the bond to at least be friends, with horrible results.

I thought I was past it all, but recent I ended up seeing her again, and it reopened the old wounds. More than half a decade since it happened, and I'm still hurt when I am either reminded of the past, or placed in a situation where I re-encounter her.

I'm starting to worry that I'm not well in the mind. I mean, I should be over it. And yet, this scar on my heart keeps getting ripped open at the slightest chance involving anything that reminds me of the past. Why can't I stop feeling hurt by this?

there is nothing wrong with you, hun. it sounds to me you haven't had the chance to have some closure with her and it's always tough to get over your first love. you're reminded of the past because whenever you see her, you associate her with all the bad things that you've experienced which is completely normal. although it may be hard you have two choices:

1. as difficult as it is, try and maybe meet with her. somewhere casual, like getting coffee and just talk things out and why things didn't work out and why she felt the way she did. letting your emotions out will definitely help the healing process. after that, give it a few days or weeks and see how you feel. as soon as you feel well enough, go out and have some fun with friends!

or

2. just cut off all contact with her completely. assuming you already haven't, get rid of her emails, texts, phone number, anything she bought you or anything that reminds you of her, pictures, etc. it'll help the moving on process and who knows, you could start forgetting about her if she's not everywhere you go.

Alright, so I've asked both of my parents numerous times about piercings. My mother is more considerate, but when talked about with my father the question brings up termoil and anger, and usually ends in some type of yelling. I've been heavily thinking about getting my nose, and/or belly button pierced, against my fathers wishes. If I do, does anyone know a good way to hide the fact I have them?

(Our family has a boat, and we go out on it frequently, so please don't suggest that I wear a shirt to cover my naval around him)

this is a tough one:

if you decide to get a nose piercing, nowadays, they have clear studs which can easily be covered with make up. you could give that go.

if you decide to get your bellybutton pierced, you could always try a one piece bathing suit. i know what you're thinking (ew, a one piece?). haha, actually, one pieces are now the latest fashion especially with celebrities like kim kardashian and jenny mccarthy and they also come in some really cute styles so no one will suspect you of anything! hope i helped!

yes, you can still get pregnant even if you're on your period (although the chances do SLIGHTLY decrease). either way though, tell your friend to always use condoms!

I'm going to get a synthetic wig soon and it has some waves/curls in it.

I'm not really sure what I'd need to do and get to keep it looking good and not scraggly as some say would happen.

I know heat from curling irons, etc and products for human hair aren't recommend. But how would I add more volume? And what is a good shampoo to use?

I've already tried google.

i worked at this place that sold wigs so i had to take care of them all the time!

1. first, you have to buy special shampoo specifically for synthetic hair (i suggest alan thomas hair shampoo for synthetic hair).

2. always brush your wig with a wire brush before washing (regular brushes can ruin the hair).

3. add only about a spoonful of shampoo in a bowl of cold water (hot water also damages the synthetic material).

4. dunk the wig in the water for a minute or so.

5. gently squeeze the water out of the wig.

6. blot your wig with a paper towel (roughly toweling it will damage the hair).

7. place the wig back onto it's rack and wait for it to dry.

i need to know the names of two korean miniseries.

1) about two years ago i saw this korean soap opera on tv (with subtitles) and i need to know what it is.

here's some information:
- there's a girl who's a police or a security
- girl falls in love with a guy who's korean too but he come from america so he knows english

there's a part where (i think it was the end) he tells her to meet him somewhere. she gets there and waits for him and he never gets there. she decides to look for him and when she finds him, she sees him being chased by people. they chase him to a boat (i'm not sure) and that's when they shoot and he dies.

2) this one was about a year ago.

- there's a guy who hires in what he thinks is a guy, but really it's a girl.
- they fall in love.
- since he thinks it's a guy, he starts to think that's he's gay.

that's it. i need to know the names of these miniseries.

I got a helix piercing in early February.
The piercing is still painful, and puss comes out of it, but the worst part is that if I take out the jewellery and put my thumb and index finger on the piercing (like pinching it from both sides)I can feel a huge, bump type of thing there, which is slightly painful.

What can I do? What could this be?

the piercing is definitely infected and the bump your feeling is called a small keloid (overgrowth of tissue) keloids usually grow in infected areas of healing skin, they're not harmful or anything. your best bet is to take the piercing out all together or your skin will form scar tissue and it'll just make it complicated for you. best wishes.

i basically live off of poptarts and ramon noodle soup im now discovering how unhealthy i eat.. i feel like everything is high in fructose corn syrup or whatever. so are poptarts really that bad for you too? whats healthy food too snack on, like what about powerbars??

poptarts are loaded with calories and unwanted fat :/

try these snacks:

apple slices with peanut butter (great source of protein)
pita chips and salsa (pita chips are healthier than corn torilla chips)
english muffin pizza (whole wheat, one muffin will only give you about 200 calories)
soy hotdogs (they taste like the real thing but has less fat and calories!)
