I was reading another question and I got to thinking, is there really a point to shaving your vagina? Like, is it actually recommended and stuff?

a lot of guys like it shaved.. but medically speaking it's not healthy for you. the hair helps keep things out like bacteria. there's not much point to it, it's just up to the person shaving!

good job with the waiting until marraige thing. i wanted that until i was 14.. and then i had sex and i honestly think it was a dumb decision. sure i love sex; but it would still be much better if i had waited. try making up a safe word or something to say/do when things are getting to heavy.. and then you'll both back off. that way, nothing gets out of hand.. hormones don't control you.. etc. just set your limits FIRMLY and even if you do give in.. hopefully he's a good enough guy to say "no, you'll regret it".

considering the average guy is around 5 1/2 inches.. you're pretty well off. you're above average, but not BIG. i'd say big was around 8 inches or above.. with 5-7 average and anything below that, just plain small. average feels best for most girls. but then again, it's not always your size but how you use it =]

you're shaving against the growth of the hair, try shaving WITH the hair. you might not get as close of a shave.. but trust me, it looks just as good and feels so much better. it hurt because your hair was trying to break through the skin again and grow and it's a very sensitive area. use conditioner or this blue gel that's called bikini zone, it softens your hair so it's easier to shave. just shave downwards, the way your hair mostly grows.

i went on the birth control pill yasmin, and one of the side effects of the pill is gaining weight.. it just affects people differently. i actually grew 2 cup sizes (from an A to a C) pretty much over one summer.. i wasn't really complaining but if you notice a sudden weight gain (and you don't like it!) tell your doctor and they will prescribe you something else; it may take a few tries before you get something thats perfect for you.
