Okay I'm 14 and I have a boyfriend named, austin, and i havent seen him in 2 weeks, and i only see him like once a week and his parents are really stricked, so we never hang out! But one time i went to the mall and at the ice cream store [Haagen Daz] there was this boy that worked there and we made complete eye contact for at least a minute and i feel like [dont laugh] but it felt like Love at first sight, it might sound stupied, but its true and i thought he was gorgeous, and now whenever i go to the mall i always hope he is there and i never think about austin, and like then before i was going out with austin [ he asked me out on November 8th ] i was at this Corona Highschool football game [ i dont go to high school i just went to the games] and i was sitting with my good friends patrick, larry, matt and jen and then they kept spilling water everywhere and knowing me i forgot and i went to sit next to jen and i slipped and i fell on someone and when i went to look it was the ice cream guy, and i just melted cause he was so pretty! WE just looked at each other the whole game after that, and i dont know what i should do, cause ive never talked to him so should i talk to him or not or just forget about him but then i dont know what to do about Austin, i dont know if i like him anymore but if i hang out with him then ill like him but if i break up with him then it will just be plan weird and he'll hate me?
please help me..

well maybe you can talk to austin and see if you still like him. flirt with him and see if he does it back, you know, stuff like that.
but it really seems like you like this ice cream guy and he seems to really like you. i think you should talk to him. (dont get mad when i say this) but maybe you should break up with austin. alot of couples break up bc they barely see eachother, it happens all the time. he wont hate you, just ask if you can still be friends. and if you do break up with him, maybe talk to him whenever you can or see him just to let him know you havnt forgot about him.
And for the ice cream guy, you said it was love at first site. I think thats soo great and i think you should flirt with him and im sure he will ask you out. If he doesnt do it right away ( like, by then end of the night or something) you ask him out. it seems like you really like this guy and i really think you should go for it.
if you break up with Austin, i dont think he will hate you. just try to keep talking to him.

i think yuo should talk to this guy. maybe flirt with him to see if he is into you. maybe ask some of his friends. but since you really like him, i would definatly talk to him.

Occasionally I'll just catch a 'glimpse' of a girls chest when I'm talking to her, sometimes they notice, sometimes they don't. Do you think its rude or offensive? well its ok. like you cant really help it. some girls dont care and some girls will care, the ones that make a big deal out of it just be like "sorry" or something like that. you cant really control it. it just happens, and if they say something to you, you can either say "sorry" (which makes it obvious that you were looking at her chest) or you can say " i really like your shirt" (and try to cover it up)
i dont find it rude or offensive. its not your fault.

a girl in my grade named anne, whom i know (I am friendly with her, but not really friends) told a friend of mine (elle) about these pants, and then elle told me about them. i went to the store & i really like the pants. they are very distinct jeans with flowers all over them. i really want them, but anne has them already. would it be bad for me to get these jeans? anne isn't in any of my classes, and she's a nice girl, but i still don't know if it's okay (I AM NOT GOING TO ASK HER). i see her on occasion at the end of the day. these aren't just any pants, they are very cool with flowers down the leg & on the butt. do you think anne would get mad? do you think elle would be like "you bought those pants after i told you where they are from & anne already has them!" do you think anyone would be mad or do you think it's okay to buy the pants? I think you should buy the pants. it seems you really like them and they sound really cool. So i think you shoudl get them. dont worry about what elle says and dont care what any one else says or thinks. dont not buy them bc someone else already had them, they seem popular so alot of girls are gonna buy thgem anyway. dont not get something you really want just bc you are worried that someone else has them or they already have them, i know how you feel bc it happens all the time. so i think you should get them.

this sounds very familiar. i am going through the same thing. i am going to a school thats a private school and its ok and everything, but there is this other school that i really wanan go to that has so much more opportunities for me. but 1 problem, i dont wanna leave my friends either.
just think of it like this, if you do decide to change schools, your friends will always be your friends, you can always keep in touch with them. maybe call the people you havent talked to just to say "hey wanna hang out this weekend?" or sopmething like that. but if you do decide to stay, you could get involved in other activities you might like, maybe out of your school or in your school. but just remember, your friends will always be your friends and you can always call them, thats how i usualy think of it.

Ok. in cartoon desg i was way ahead and i drew a pic of my friend Rachel and later in the day i ran into this girl i have been thinking that she likes me whos name is Heidi and when i showed her the pic ahe asked in an almost angry tone who was the girl in the pic and im afraid that Heidi will tell rach i like her {rach} and rach will try to avoid me and stuff. i think you should forget about what heidi is going to do. she might not even tell anyone, you never know. but if she does, just tell your friend rach that you like her as a friend but you like this other girl, and you just drew that picture to be funny. dont let heidi get to you.

Ok. This might sound kind of wierd, but here goes. When I go to use the bathroom and I pull down my underwear, there's this nasty, sticky, white, creamy looking stuff in there. It doesn't like cover the whole bottom of my underwear, it's only like a little bit. I'm not sexually active, so it couldn't be from that. What is this? Why does this happen all the time? i think it might be bc he had feelings for you, and when you two broke up, he might have still had feelings for you, and masybe he didnt want you to know it. he might walk you to your bus stop bc he might still like you (thats what it seems like).. maybe flirt with him and see what happens (( that is if you would wanna go back out with him or something))

passing out is a dangerous thing, it can harm your body. try not to pass out again bc its reeally bad for you. it could kill you if you do it too much.

I'm a 17/F, junior in high school. I'm seriously debating dropping out my senior year. Just finish out school until I'm 18 and no longer legally have to attend. I simply hate school, all it does is cause problems and drama in my life. With the things I've done, I wont get accepted into college anyway, so I figure I'll go to a community college when I'm ready because you don't even have to graduate to go to one of those. I already have a job that I absolutely love, so finding a job because I'm a dropout wont be a problem, and I'll be going to college anyway. Everyone I know is a senior this year, so next year will be miserable when all my friends are gone, and teachers suck, and other people are just self centered assholes, that I don't want to be around anyway. What are the pros and cons of dropping out for me at this point? Is anyone out there a dropout? Any experiences to share? (link)

well the pros and cons about this would usualy be:
good: you can have a great job and be out of school, you can have free life, dont have to worry about homework.
bad: if you ever were to lose your job you wouls have a hard time finding a good job, later in life (i know it doesnt seem like it now but..) you might regret it.
--> i think it is really up to you and no one can decide this for you bc its a big life decision. just reeallly put alot of thought into this and whatever you decide, im sure will be the decsion that you will like best

so i got my hair cut today and i wanted it to my shoulders, she cut it to the bottom of my ears instead and i hate it, i think it looks so bad. is there anything i can do to make it look better?

maybe you could put (if its long enough to try this) half up and half down. or maybe you couldt put clips in it and clip it so there is no hair in your face... or maybe wear a hair ban to put your hair back, or a bandana.

Ok, so I kinda like this guy, and he's one of my friends. We aren't that close, but I talk to him when he's around (I couldn't just walk up and start talking to him, but that might be because I'm a bit anti-social). He asked me for my phone number once, but I didn't give it to him becuase I had absolutely no idea why he wanted it; I was in denial that he might have liked me. When he asked that, I did like him then, but I was a little paraniod, and somehow we dropped the subject. I probably gave him the wrong impression. I feel really stupid, and now we don't talk as much as we used to. Is there any way to fix this? Or should I just move on? (Please don't tell me that I'm stupid for doing this, I already am well aware of that)(He's also been dating a few people, which doesn't make me jealous, but I thought I should include that.) (link)

i think you should talk to him about it.. maybe just say "hey its been a while... we should talk more" or maybe something like that. try to flirt with him (if you wanna talk and go out with him) i think if you like him, you should give it a try, girls usualy think the guy should ask them, but thats nit awlays how it works... the girl can ask the guy too, i dont see anything wrong with that. so maybe you shoudl talk to him and tell him how you are feeling... try to get as close to him as possible..

Okay I like this guy well actually I cant really say that I like him because to like someone is to know them and I dont really know him I just want to get to know him so than maybe something will happen between us. I'm a freshman and he's a senior in high school. He knows that I so-called like him because my friend was telling him that someone likes him and than he just found out its me. My friend told me that he always ready has someone in mind because there are tons of girls that like him. I just found out that its one of my friend's older brothers. This guy is in my gym class and I always see him around school. I want to get to know him but im not sure how to. I'm a really shy person and I'm scared to just walk to up to him to talk to him. We only have gym together so its kinda strange if I just start talking to him at gym for no reason. Should I get to know his sister? start flirting with him. i know you said you were a shy person but... just pretend like you are talking to a guy friend... but just flirt with him... compliment him on his hair or something. or ask him to help you with something in gym then maybe start up a conversation. ask him how his day is going, or whatever you wanna say.

Volleyball is the one sport I love with a passion. I connect with it so well and I've played it for 5 years. This year, alot of conflicts came up that make me miss many practices, games, and tournaments. So, I talked to my coach about becoming team manager and helping out in practices and keeping score for the team during some games. Things like that. But, last year I sat out at every game because I was a freshman, and this year would be my time to play in games. It's hard for me, but I'm deciding to go with the team manager or actually try out and have the concequence of my coach really getting mad at me for missing so many pracitces... which one sounds better? welll i play volleyball too, and i love it, its a great sport... i still play it.. i think you should try out for the team, and tell your coah that you have some other responsibilities and maybe she could reschedual some practices or you could make-up the practices you missed or call a friend that might be on the team and ask them to go over some drills with you... im sure your coach will work it out with you.

Well, yeah, there are exceptions. A couple could be in love and one of them move away. Or parents. And it is very much possible for one to be in love in high school and end up together, but those don't happen very often (I think). But for a couple to be going out for a few months and saying that they love each other, seems farfetched. It's possible, but highly unlikely. Also adults... they say they love each other, then they divorce, or the man leaves the "baby mama". I really wish that that wouldn't happen... But anyway, thanks you very much for your answer! My philosofical question has become so successful, that I will start asking more of these. So look for more "Philosophy:________" questions. Not sure what I should ask about next though... (link)

well the BEST thinng i can tell you to do is be VERY VERY socail with the other kids. talk to them, sit with them, help them. ANYTHING. then when you are talking to one and there is a acward silence then just be like "so what are you doin this week end?" something like that.
