I'm 21. Boyfriend (Eric) is 24. His brother (Allen) is 21, his brother's girlfriend (Mary) is 19, if it matters.
Mary's family has a lake house and a boat. She and Allen have been together about a year and a half. My guy (Eric) and I have been together for about four. Eric often goes over to Mary's house with Allen, and they all go on the boat and do fun things. I'm never invited because Allen hates me.
Mary doesn't have a problem with me, but she won't argue with Allen over me, and I don't want her to. I get upset, and yes a little jealous, when Eric goes over there. I feel like I should be allowed to join in whenever there are girlfriends involved. I understand that it's Mary's house and therefore she has the final say in who shows up, but Allen is the only reason I get left out.
I've spoken to Eric about this before, and he always says "It's not my call." I would really like just once for him to say he won't come unless I can, too. I've mentioned this, too, but he says they don't care if he comes or not. Doing fun things is important to him - he doesn't want to jeopardize that by trying to force them to let me come. I wind up smiling, saying "go have fun," and pretending I'm not upset when I actually cry over this sometimes.
I don't want him to not have fun because of me, but I feel like I should be allowed to do fun things with him, too. I mean, we have fun on our own, and it's not like we don't spend any time together, but I love being in big groups and doing different things. Eric and I are both short on cash right now, and I'm actually very jealous that he gets to do things like go hang around on a boat and drink with his brother and Mary, and I'm sitting here doing nothing. Even when I go out with other friends, I'm still hurt because I feel like Eric should've invited me.
I hate feeling this way, and I've tried many times to talk myself out of it, but I can't. It's always at the back of my mind and it drives me crazy. I'm not a jealous person, so this really sucks.
As my subject line says, am I off base here? Is it right for me to feel so upset about this? Am I just being a stupid whiny girl?

Hey there.
The last thing you are being is a stupid whiny girl. I would feel EXACTLY the same way as most girls would too. I really think that Eric needs to have a conversation with Allen, because they're brothers - therefore they have a different relationship then you & Allen do. I know you say Allen hates you, but why do you think that is? It may just be because you're dating his older brother and he may just not like you for that reason alone. You confronting or bringing this up to Allen is not a realistic option unless you want to cause more tension (it may even start an argument between you & Eric which is probably the last thing you want to happen!)
I would seriously just tell Eric that he needs to talk to Allen and find out what his problem is. It's not fair that Eric can openly hang out with Mary but Allen can't openly hang out with you. If Eric won't - then he's just rude, if he genuinely cared about you the last thing he would want is his brother not liking you, he would want to try and form a relationship between you two. The only thing that would ease the tension between you & Allen is if yall hung out and got to know each other better.
Anyways, the only option really is to talk to Eric and tell him to talk to his brother. It's totally OK for you to be upset about this. There's nothing wrong with it. I hope that you eventually get to hang out with him and his family more, and that everything turns out OK for you!!

OK so me and my Bf were having some fun yesterday and well the condom broke and he hade come, i am on the pill and have been for a few monthes now like 6-7 and am also on my period i also took a warm bath and attempeted to clean myself, so my question is how doyou properly clean yourself after this happens and should their be anyworry bou getting pregnant? The only thing you should do is let your body naturally clean itself. If you clean it with soap or anything like that it could cause infection. And, even if you clean yourself if you are pregnant it won't help.
I wouldn't be worried if I were you about being pregnant though, if you are on the pill and on your period the chances are very slim. But it's still a possibility. If I were you I would try not to worry too much and just see what happens, to me it doesn't sound like you are though.
EDIT*No, you're so very wrong. Hot water does not kill sperm, especially if it's already fertilized with the egg, which you can't force out of your vagina. I'm sorry but anyone who spells sperm like spirm shouldn't be having sex and stop being so uneducated.

I heard that Billy Mays (inventor of mighty putty, oxiclean, orange glo, etc. & was famous for those crazy infomercials) died at age 50 on June 28, 2009 (yesterday). Somebody posted it on MySpace and when I logged in I saw it and was like, "Billy Mays died TOO!?" I mean, Michael Jackson just died a few days ago! What's with all of the celebrities dying and stuff, right?

Yes, it is true that Billy Mays died & it's unknown how he died. Supposedly the day before his death he was on an airplane and hit his dead really hard which might've contributed to why he passed away. They're doing the autopsy right now (they said they'd do it this afternoon) so hopefully we'll know something soonish!
And it's crazy that a lot of celebrities are dying. I thought the same exact thing. But there are thousands of people dying every single day, it just strangely seems to be a lot of well-known people lately!

my boyfriend has been hearing voices since 8th grade. we are both in 11th now and it has gotten worse. he says that now he has to 2nd guess if someones actually talking to him or if its just in his head. its driving him crazy and he wants to get high all the time to escape it and he just attempted suicide last night. he wont listen to me and i tell him to get put on meds for it and he says meds numb u 4 real, you cant feel anything let alone hear anything and i dont wanna be numb id rather be dead. so now im terrified because i really feel like hes an inch away from killing himself and i dont know what to do because you cant help someone who doesnt want to be helped and he doesnt see his mom anymore and his dad doesnt take him seriously. please help i cant lose the one n only guy ive ever loved. This guy sounds like he has severe issues or he's just attention seeking. You either need to tell him to start seeing a psychiatrist, or if you really care about him - you need to go and tell his mom about his suicide attempts. When someone claims they're trying to kill themselves, even if you don't think they'll go through with it - it's still a big sign of depression and he needs psychological help. If I were you I'd want to stay as far away from him as possible, he sounds like a potential murderer.

we can choose between a chevy cobalt..or a saturn view..

I don't know what your needs are. If you're just saying that you need something that would get you from home to school and school to home then clearly either car would do you good. A Saturn View is more of an SUV type car, which probably would be the only reason why I would say getting it would be a bad idea. It also really depends on what year the cars are, Chevy's are pretty nice, and the Cobalt is a nice first car.
If you plan on sharing the car with your mom or you like camping or something, then the View would be more of your type of car.
I would go with the Chevy though.

i keep missing my period. :/ like its every other month. a lot of my friends have this problem too. but my mom keeps stressing me out about it!! she keeps saying if you don't get it by july 1st i'm taking you to the doctor, but i don't want to go. has this ever happened to you? do you know any possible reasons why i may be missing it? any information would be helpful. This has never happened to me, but I know that this can happen to a lot of girls. It's basically just because of having irregular periods. Usually because it is so inconvenient you can start taking the birth control pill which will cause you to have your period every single month. I don't know how long this has been ocurring for, but clearly if it's happened a lot you should go to the doctor. If you've only missed it once or twice then it's not much to worry about, because your period can randomly skip. But I would definitely do what mom says and go to the doctor! They won't even have to look at you or anything - they'll be able to give you something or tell you what's wrong just by hearing what's going on with your body.

I highly doubt it. The closer you are when you have sex to your period the less likely you are to get pregnant. Usually most women get pregnant 14 days after the last day of their period and 14 days before the first date of their next period. If that makes sense! :0) I wouldn't worry about it at all if I were you, although it is really rare it has happened.

Michael Jackson apparently died at age 50 from cardiac arrest. Elvis died when he was like 42, I think, and they claimed (at first) that he died of something called cardiac arrhythmia. Turned out that Elvis actually died of a drug overdose.
So, I'm thinking...wow, 50 is REALLY young for someone to die, especially when our average lifespan is something like 75 or so. Maybe Michael Jackson didn't REALLY die of cardiac arrest and his death is being covered up by somebody!

No one knows yet, they won't know until they perform an autoposy which won't be revealed for a few days anyways. He was on some meds because of a lot of mental and physical problems he's been coping with over the past few years. He also battled with anorexia which I personally believe is why he had a cardiac arrest. I don't think he would've commited suicide because he had three young children to take care of, he wouldn't have left them behind I don't think! We'll soon find out.

I'm curious because it strikes me as SO odd. It's not something girls tend to do that I'm aware of (I have NEVER heard any of my girl friends talk about watching porn together).

Most guys don't watch porn together and yes, it is quite odd. My boyfriend and his best friend used to watch porn together and I always used to think it was weird. But then I watched it with them and it's just like watching TV (weird). Anyways most guys don't get hard unless they start playing with themselves and more then likely unless they're homosexual they won't do it with their guy friend in the room. Which is another reason why they wouldn't get hard. Most guys when they get older learn to control their erections especially when they're around guy friends.
I'm sure if they were to get hard it definitely would be uncomfortable but they wouldn't.

Hey. No it's not 100% but it's not 0% either obviously. I can't tell you forsure because it really depends if you FORSURE came in her and if she was fertile.
Basically, if she's due to be on her period in a "few days" assuming that it's less then 2 weeks, the chances of her getting pregnant are very slim. Plus if you did use a condom and aren't sure if it broke to where you came in her then it makes the chance even slimmer that she could be pregnant.
I wouldn't be too worried about it and tell her not to worry about it either. If she stresses about it then that make make her period late so yeah. It doesn't sound to me that she could be pregnant but I can't tell you that forsure!

I personally like the digital pregnancy tests. The ones that say either "pregnant" or "not pregnant". I think it can get really irritating fast with ones where you have to see if the line is showing & such. It's really up to you though and how late you are on your period, because like the other person said, all tests are pretty much accurate it just depends when you test.

Honestly gamecubes are not worth much and the most you'll get for it is 30 dollars. I used to work at Gamestop and we were desperately trying to get rid of all of the gamecubes so really unless you don't want to get much money for it then it's really not worth trading it in. I can't tell you how much bookmans would give you, I've never been in Bookmans before, but I have traded in a great deal of my DVDs and books before at another used book store and literally left with 20 dollars even though I traded in like 100 books and a few DVDs. Make sure that the books you are trading in are good books, like ones that people are always reading, example: Harry Potter & Twilight. Books that people don't necessarily go out of their way to buy, you won't get much money for. Trust me. And your best bet is to either call up Gamestop and find out for yourself, if they'd accept more then 30 bucks. I doubt they will though

We see each other almost every weekend but only at night just to have sex. The only way that you'll ever know is if you hang out with him outside of the house and actually go out on a date. I was in a relationship like this and had a hard time getting out of it and getting into a real relationship.
I didn't think I had any actual boyfriend feelings towards him, but I still had sex with him and other guys too. But I would get very jealous when I would see other girls around him and he'd get jealous when I'd be around other guys.
So, yeah your best bet is to go out to a movie or like the zoo or something. Something where yall will not be tempted to have sex. Like maybe try to hold off having sex with him too, because you'll confuse yourself - you'll think since you like the sex that you like him & his personality when you may not.
It's hard to tell you if a booty call possibly could turn into a relationship because everyone is different and he may have feelings towards you that you don't know about. Just hang out with him outside of the bedroom, give it a few times and see if you actually like HIM!

Well, the best time to test would be the day after you miss your period, and even then it's possible to still test negative. Everyone goes through a pregnancy scare at some point in their lives, so I know exactly the feelings your feeling right now!
I think if you mean your 3-4 weeks pregnant, testing right now may come back positive.

Honestly you seem really young, and the last thing you need to be worrying about right now is your boyfriend. Obviously you're going to need help but you need to be worrying firstly about your baby and then about yourself. I understand that you're hurting right now, but seriously get over him and move on, or give that baby up for adoption. I know it sounds a bit harsh, but seriously you're spelling like you're 11.

I think your best bet is to buy a jersey off of the internet. Just type into google "Harrison steelers jersey" and you'll get a bunch of different prices, since it's 4 weeks til his birthday, you have plenty of time to order it and have it arrive before then.
Plus, unless you live in Pittsburgh or in the PA vicinity it's going to be very hard to find a Champs or Sports Authority that will have them in stock, I know you can buy the jerseys off of the internet of those websites, so they probably would more then likely be able to order them for you.

i dont mean to dump all this on you, but i clearly have some depression issues.. that have been diagnosed by my therapist.. and my mom 'doesnt believe in depression medicine' so i cant even take a friken prozac to make me happy. >:o
ive even tried turning to religion..
and i have no one to talk to..
idk what to do with myself anymore..
the other day i ran away from the school and went missing for 2 days.. clearly im going insane and need help. i have counceling.. doesnt work..

Hey there.
I can completely understand the feelings you are feeling right now. I was in the same exact situation my senior year of high school which was just last year. I basically lost ALL of my friends and had no one to turn to, and because of that - I fell further and further away from my parents, and it just felt like NO ONE understood how I felt.
You have to just think about the positive things about yourself and work from them. If you think you're pretty, other people must think you're pretty as well. It doesn't matter if you're miserable or a bitch, you can STILL be pretty either way!
The only thing that I can tell you is that you NEED to stay in counseling and you need to sort out your depression issues before anything. I know that you're 15, but the last thing you want is to be dealing with depression issues in a few years from now that COULD'VE and SHOULD BE dealt with ASAP, otherwise they will just add up and up and up.
You should get a journal or some sort of online diary thing that you and you only can get access to. Write in it every single day and talk about the bad feelings you have and write out how much you HATE your parents and how much they piss you off. Trust me, as stupid or silly as it sounds, it really works. When I went through my tough time, I wrote in a diary and it drastically helped, it makes me sad to look back at it and read the things I wrote because even though it was just a year ago, I feel completely better about my life and the people in it.
I understand why your mom may not want you to go on Prozac or any anti-depressent. For some people it can cause negative feelings and make you feel even worse then what you did before you took the pills. I know that you want to be on them, because you think it may help you. But, unless you have severe depression issues diagnosed by your therapist and your mom agrees to getting you the medication, then you won't be able to unfortunately. If it's something that your therapist feels is absolutely necessary, maybe you could get her to speak to your mom. Of course she can't make her allow you to take them, but if she hears it from a professional and let's her know that she'll keep an eye on you & make sure that you won't be affected negatively, she may feel a bit better about it.
Anyways, get a diary and start writing in it. Keep your therapist for as long as you possibly can. And, try to think positively about yourself. I know that it's hard to especially when you don't have a support system, like good friends and family around you. But, you're a great person I'm sure and you deserve to be happy, and to be happy you have to believe that you're happy.

However, yesterday afternoon things got heated and we failed to use a condom. she also missed a pill early on in the week. It has been two weeks since her period. Well, since it's been 2 weeks since her last period then there's a greater chance of her being pregnant then it would be if you would've had sex sooner or later.
If I were yall I wouldn't be too concerned, because of course there's always a chance to get pregnant even if you use condoms & the BC pill.
Although, my sister got pregnant from using condoms and the BC pill, as well as the morning after pill.
Don't stress about it though, I'm sure yall will be fine!
