Well, one of my really, really good friends is in the hospital. Actually, right now he's in a program because they think he did what he did to himself so he would die. Obviously, that alone hurts so much. He's been in there for almost an entire month and for that entire time, I've talked to him, but just on the phone. I know I'm going to see him soon, but it's not like I can go everyday (he's about an hour away). Today, my best friend, his girlfriend, told me that he's going to be gone for another 4 weeks! After that, we only have 3 weeks left of school! I know I have a right to be like sad about it, but how do I keep myself from being too depressed and going crazy?

my suggestion is that you probably wouldnt be as depressed if you knew that he was happy, so send him cards and letters for him to feel better and visit him as soon as you can and thats really the only way i think you will be okay

ok i have "dangerously high" cholesteral according to my doctor, and she is putting me on a strict diet. No fat, No red meat, And absolutley NO sugar of any kind(junkfood...etc). The problem is, i LOVEEEEE chocolate and cant go without the taste. I had gone 3 days w.o sugar and then today my moim made brownies and i cracked and ate 3 *cries* Are there any foods that taste like chocolate, but arent disgusting, and are healthy? Like not a lot of fat, sugars etc. Foods that you can get in places like shoprite, pathmark, costco and stop&shop. Preferably things available to people in NYC, specificallt staten island, cuz thats where I am currently living. Thanks a bunch! I rate high for good answers
well nobody has come out with artificial chocolate but if you stop thinking about chocolate and focus on something fat-free then maybe you'll forget about chocolate all-together, other than that i really dont know how you can have the taste of chocolate without eating it :(

okay well the best thing to do to find out about paypal is to go to the site http://www.paypal.com/ because it's their main site.. if you scroll down to the bottom then you'll see a list of blue links that say stuff like "about", "accounts", "fees" and all those

So, to make a very long pathtic long story short..
My Birthday is tomarrow and i have nothing to do. I was going to hang out with my boyfriend buttt he cant come now because of a grade. my problem is ... my day was..my bf comes over, famiyl comes over, we all eat and have cake.. my family leaves my mom leaves for work and i hang out with my bf the rest of the night.. noww i have nothing to do.NOTHING. my twin is havin 4 friends over that i dislike so im basicly screwed. im stuck home alone bored with my father on my birthday, yea, so my question is, does anyone have anything for me to do??? please help:-\.. ps. i cant get my bfs parents to change their mind so dont tell me to try please

There's a guy I like, and I'm thinking about telling him how I feel. Well, there's a big dance coming up and I was thinking about telling him then. Maybe while we slow dance or something... but then again, that could make it awkward. Any ideas/tips on what I should say and when I should say it? Thanks!
the best advice i can give on this is that once the dance is over say "i had a really nice time tonight" or something that will hint to him that you like him and go with the flow from there

okay well my friend really likes this kid but like everytime she does its like obsession. its like really creepy and weird. but anyway me and her arent allowed to hang out because she got me into a lot of trouble because she got me in trouble for her stealing but anyways she really likes this kid but this kid hates her. so me & him were hanging out and we both like eachother now but we dont know what to do because of her please help.
okay to avoid fighting you should probably set your friend up with someone she would like so she'll forget about the guy you like.. i dont know how well that would work but its the best solution i can think of =/

ok so, my school is having a dinner dance. my best friend and i were going to ask the ppl we like to it today after school. BUT these to guys, who we are kinda friends with and like us, asked us to the dance. but when she went on the bus today, she asked the 2 guys that we like, what they would say if we asked them. they said they would have said yes!!!!! what the hell should we do? we are in need of some serious advice!!!! thanks
i dont think you should back out on the dance with the two kids who like you because thats mean and you wouldnt like it done to you. after the dance is over then just ask those guys if they want to hang out with you guys or something, that way noone gets hurt!

ok so i wanna upload music to myspace music how do i do that?? i made the account for new artest but how do i get my music on it??
im not sure if this is what you meant, but if your just a regular person who wants music on their myspace then this applies to you.
okay well to upload music onto myspace you dont have to make an acount for a new artist.. just follow my steps:
1) go to myspace.com
2) click on music towards the top
3) search for the artist of the song you want and click search
4) click on that artist's profile
5) pick the song you want if its there and click add to the right of the song and it will automatically play on your myspace

My Bestest-bestest-bestest friend since she was born. I'm a couple of months older so it's cool to have her as my bestest-bestest-bestest friend. She sometimes makes me feel bad. I weigh more but i'm taller and older and smarter, not to be mean or anything. But I think she lies to me, because every single time i have a crush or BF that she knows she says that they usta lik her, she also thinks that Im a girl-girl-goody-good-2-shoes!
P.S. Is my friend lieing , or even is she a good friend at all!

hmm, well if she always says that your bf's or crushes like her then chances are that she might be jealous. im not totally positive that she is but it sounds like it and if you really like these guys then dont pay attention when she says stuff like that. other than that, if you guys have fun together then she is a good friend, nobody's perfect

i think you should tell your mom that your 15 and old enough to make your own decisions and tell her all the good things about this guy, that way she'll think he's a good kid and you wont get into trouble, try some technique like that

Sorry this is long but I WILL RATE!!!
i'm 14/f and theres this guy at school that i really really really like and I can't go a minute without thinking about him, and when i'm around him i just can't help but stare. Some of my friends talk to him and say I you like *my name* and a few days ago he IMed me said I don't like like you I don't even know you...which is true cause we only talk in the hall for a minute or two or online for about an hour a few times a week. But just little things he does makes me thinks he likes me and then other little things makes me think he doesn't....but the other day i got home from school, and in the mail was a newsletter and i read it and his name was it, then i was reading a magazine and there an article on how to make to mak the 1st move, and i swear everyone word i looked at said love, like, wish, want, and I just can't STOP thinking about him but I don't know if he likes me or what and i just hate it and i don't know what to do at all.. should i try to become better friends with him?? Should i ask him to the dacnce (May 19th) sould I ignore the whole thing...and when he does the little things that make me think he doesn't like me hurts me..really bad...and I swear i want him but i dunno if he wants me...and he's jokes alot and is always joking that me and my friend are staling him is that saying get away from me or just hahah just someone PLEASE HELP ME...if you need to know more please ask me..
im kinda going through that right now. i think you should become good friends with him then ask him to the dance (if you dont think he likes likes you then ask him to go as a friend). that way, theres a better chance of him liking you in the way you want.. sorry i couldnt give better advice but good luck!

i didnt know what category to put this under so i guessed but anywho, i have dark circles from my glasses (which i have had since second grade im in 9th rite now) and you can feel an indentation (which is not deep but just a little) so i am wondering what products/veggies/etc. can i use to get rid of them BESIDES MAKE UP and how long will it take to go away? thanks in advance
i thnik the best thing you should do would be to go to a doctor and ask her to prescribe something to get rid of the indentations, other than that the best thing you can do is get contacts and wait while the indentations go away

sorry idk what catagory to put this under but whatever.
every night i take a shower but every other night i use a shower cap and dont wash my hair. a few people at school said that its bad to wash your hair everyday. i know it strips the oils out but should i not wash it every night? should i not wash it 2 days in a row? my hair is really thick and after taking a shower, my hair gets frizzy. what are some ways i can prevent friz after taking a shower? also i straighten my hair every morning but i dont like burning it so much, i just hate having it so frizzy when i wake up. so, what are some ways i can keep the friz down after taking my shower (and the results will last long through the day).

okay well i have thick hair too and most people shower every day so it cant be too bad for you if you shower every day. my hair doesnt get frizzy so i cant really relate to you on there but maybe you should try 'Repair and Shine' because i've heard it really works and that it leaves your hair really good. :)

to get you guys talking again then try hanging out with him if you havent already, some ideas are maybe asking him if he wants to go to a movie with you and some of your friends or something, that way your friends will be around so you feel more comfortable. You will also get to know him better and he'll see that there's more to you than just looks :)
if the movie or whatever you choose goes good then ask him if he maybe wants to hang out again sometime, if he says no then just move on because he's not worth it if he just likes you because of your looks,

trying to stay away from things like that are hard, but to motivate yourself maybe whenever you feel like you have to smoke or do drugs you should read sites that are dedicated to why you shouldnt. like, http://sprojects.mmi.mcgill.ca/smoking/smokedf/health_consequences_smoking.html and you'll hopefully be happy that you chose the right decision,
if you've already smoked and everything then maybe you should try patches or the gum because for a lot of people that stuff works,
