about

I love fashion & trends (ask me ANY question about those.) Some of my favorite things are fudge, the beach, swimming, parties, dancing, playing tennis && soccer. I also love my friends. My favorite snack is oreos with peanut butter. Unique, eh? I absolutely love Laguna Beach && all the WB shows. I have a major crush on Talan (from Laguna Beach) & Tom Welling. haha.
My favorite advice topics are friends, family, guys, fashion sense, health && nutrition, school, && babysitting. :) And DON'T worry, anyone who asks a question remains ananymous. Okay, have fun! Byee. =)
Oh & my best friend, CRYSTAL, has a site on here. She's 14 & a FABULOUS advice columnist. Check out her column. *Click*

i would really like to become a fashion designer
ive already made some clothes... i just need a way to advertise them.. like get people to know my clothes are out there
for the school talent show i wanted to do a mini fashion show but we have a time limit... 2 minutes
if someone has any ideas please tell me!
i rate 5s!
It's extremely difficult to get your designs out there at such a young age. But don't let it discourage you, if you really have a talent, you really have potential. Start out by maybe making some cute flyers and including examples of your clothing on the page. Post them around school & include your phone # for people to call you.
Also, maybe make a website. An average domain costs about $15 a year. Have you thought of a name? You could make it www."design-name-here".com. Or even try www.freewebs.com for a FREE website.
I DEFINITELY suggest that you do the talent show. Designing is a MAJOR talent. You can be the announcer & come out at the end & ask your friends to model for you. It would be a lot of fun for you guys PLUS an excellent advertising opportunity. Make sure to include in your speech that you will make & sell clothes for anyone. :)
***GOOD LUCK && HAVE FUN @ THE TALENT SHOW!!
i was wondering if anyone knows of any colleges that are fairly easy to get into in Boston (not for super smart kids) because i live in california and i want to go to boston for college...
Here's a bunch of Boston colleges:
1. Emerson College
2. Suffolk University
3. Northeastern University
4. Massachusetts College of Art
5. New England School of Law
**Depending on what exactly you plan to major in, some of these colleges may be what you're looking for. =D
well i tried xsao.net... but it wont work! and signingfish.com is up for sale so where can i listen 4 free?

Lots of places! Try www.music.msn.com, www.music.yahoo.com, & even go to your WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER & on the sidebar, select Media Guide. Some of these give you previews of songs, while on others, you can listen & watch the entire music video. :)

Of course! Anything can be a song. Just put some rhythm to it as you sing it & you've got yourself some lyrics! (I like it too, BTW.) "I like chocolate, I love vanilla! Ice cream ROCKS" can be a song too! lol. Ya just gotta have a beat and you have a song. =)
Oh, Stacee, I really adore your column. You give terrific advice - quite admirable. Not to mention your choice of color; and your background look great. It's all easy on the eyes, and that's always appreciated. =]
Mackenzie ♥
Thank you SO much, Mackenzie! I spotted your advice column a while ago and added it to my favorite columnist since it's so ah-mazing!! Thanks for the compliments !!
im SUCH a girly girl! so wut should i wear the first day of school (september 6th)? i know you dont know whats in my closet so i wont give u like a 3- if i dont have it!! but what are you wearing, what would be cute/in. im going to straighten my hair. and im pretty sure i want to wear a skirt. thanks
I'm a girly-girl too, so you're getting advice from the best. Haha. Maybe a mini skirt and a halter that brings out your eyes. And a charm bracelet. Straightening hair is always cute, but scrunching is also nice for a new look. Try V05 curl mousse, trust me, it works like a CHARM to scrunch your hair. Also, even a cute pair of denim capris and a short-sleeve or sleeve-less top is ah-dorable. Also, for the first day, a few last-minute tips are, make sure to chew on a mint before you head for school, gloss your lips real quick, and finally, maybe apply a little eye-liner or blush (depending on your skin tone) and you'll look FAB*U*LOUS !!! ♥

my best mate moved yesturday and it is kinda really borin wid out him and everyone seems to be deppressed and i dunno why but i am too yet i know he is still ma best mate he is likea brother to me and for the last 1 and half years i have spoke to him evry mornin when he was walking his dog and i need help on how i can deal with the changes to my rutine and social life please reply as it is important
Moves are really tough, and for the first month or two, it may feel strange not having your friend around. BUT, don't let that feeling last longer than that. Just think, if he's really your friend, he'd want you to not be depressed, whether he's around or not, right? So, for the first month or two, maybe you guys can create a calling schedule. Like, he calls you Saturday & Sunday mornings and you call him Wednesday & Thursday nights? Then, you'll BOTH have something to look forward to, cause trust me, he's going through the same thing as YOU, if not, worse. He has to make all NEW friends. So, talk to him, and think about how YOU met him. What did you say? It obviously worked. And also, help him out with making new friends. Remind him that he's a great guy & there's probably plenty of people just waiting to befriend him. Good luck!! ---PLEASE rate mee---
Hey. I just want to be really realistic here with my question. Think of something you might do in real life. There's this kid I know from my church, he used to come but he left for a while. We were kids then. Now he's back and he's a year older, I'm going into 9th grade. I'm very interested in him and I wouldn't know if he has any in me because we literally never talk. How do I start something up with him? And realisticly, I'm not going to be all bouncy and annoying. He seems a bit shy too, and I want something clever, and not like "Hi, what's your name" type of thing. Thanks!
Hi! Yes, starting convos with someone u hardly know CAN be difficult, but first thing's first: look CONFIDENT & BE confident. Guys dig confident chicks. It's just the way it is. Approach him maybe as he's walking out the door and maybe say, "Hey, you look familiar. Have you been going here for a while?". Wait for a reply, and be sure to smile, but don't make it TOO obvious to the point that ya look like 'Suzee Sunshine'. Once he says yes (he went there for a year, right?), say "Oh, cool." casually, and maybe say "I haven't really seen you here before" or "I think I've seen you here before." Finally, casually introduce yourself, and over the next couple of weeks, see if HE says hi to you. THAT will be the sign that he likes you, maybe not as a gf, but it's best to start as friends, trust me. Good luck & be CONFIDENT & CASUAL! Don't forget: CONFIDENT & CASUAL! ;)

Okay I absolutely love wavy hair and i've been trying to get my hair to be wavy the problem is i cant scrunch it or anything cuz i have curly hair so it doesnt work it just goes into curls which yeah im sure some ppl want but I dont!! I want waves..lol anyone got any tips?? I heard maybe if I got a body wave it would take out some curl and put some wave in anyone think that would work or better yet know it would? thanx everyone -ashley
Okay, first thing's first, you're going to need to straighten your hair. For that, you can try a flat-iron hair straightener OR I know that Neutrogena & Garnier have a new hair-straightening product that you can try! Next, you can use a crimper for a wavy look, or put your straightened hair in braids before you go to bed & take them out the next morning. Also, some straighteners (for example, a Conair) have different attachments. Some for wavy, crimped, etc. Claire's or After Thoughts would most likely sell these. Good luck && happy hair styling!!

I'm in honors classes at my school. I'm currently a sophomore and I've been with the same girls freshman year and I can't seem to make any friends. I don't go out on friday nights and I have dance coming up in february that I have to ask a guy to. I don't know anyone help!
Naturally, the social butterfly IS going to be the one that making friends comes easier to. But just because you're not some sort of party-animal...it doesn't mean YOU can't make JUST as many friends. Attending a dance is a GREAT start. Maybe, this year, you can spend the first semester trying to get to know more people. Join a club, participate in some more extra-curricular activities, play a sport, work on the paper, etc. Not only will YOU keep busy, but you'll meet a wider range of people, and you can have fun! Don't worry, you have PLENTY of time till February. If you take my advice, you'll know or even be friends with so many guys you won't be able to decide WHO to ask! (come back in february and I'll help ya out. haha. (; )

Is in normal for a car to leak water after the air conditioner has been used?
Totally!! That happens a lot. But if it's leaking oil or anti-freeze, that's probably an issue. Water's fine though.
okay so basically this is what happend ... Yesterday I was working and my "best friend" came into my work and was like "DO YOU WANNA GO TO THE MOVIES WITH ME AND HAL**" and so i was like "YEAH! what movie??" and she said "Undiscovered because i know you really wanna see it" ... okay so she said the movie was @ 7:20 .. so i told her i would call her when i got home from work (i got off @ 7) but to look @ a later movie time. So i got out of work and i called her cellphone .. she didnt answer. and then i called her house and her mom said she wasent home so i called her cell again and our friend Lauren picked up and i was liek HEYY where are you guys? and she said "On the expressway." so i was like "oh well tell Kim** that i was allowed to go but nvm" and she was like "casey wanted to goo!" and i was like "No, I was allowed .. Kim* invited me." and the next thing i heard was "YOU LEFT HER??" and then nothing?? doesnt it seem pretty weird?? and also the pure fact that when i hung up she didnt call me back .. and she still hasent when she tells me "I can tell you anything your such a true friend" blah blah blah .. and ive known her since i was about 7-8 and i dont even know whats up with her? what should i do/say?
Well, it sounds like she MAY have been blowing you off, but we may be getting the wrong impression. Call her, but don't come right out and say "You've been blowing me off," cause it may have been a simple mistake. Start out with "Heyy, 'Kim', what's up? Haven't talked to you in a while. Have ya been busy?" Make it a casual convo, and don't sound TOO interested, but make sure you get some straight answers.
anyone know some good practical jokes that i could play on my dad? see we started some kind of practical joke war, like celephane on the toilet seats and offering rotten egg flavored jelly beans.
i rate high!!!
Haha. Of course. You can do the classics like: a woopie cushion or a fart machine. This is one I used on my aunt: I put a FAKE parking ticket on her car! It was HILARIOUS!!! Also, you can buy these fake ice cubes that look like they have a fly inside. Simple, yet funny jokes. :)
Okay, so I'm going to be going to a really fancy affair that my boss is holding, and I read some Etiquette & Manners books, but any last-minute tips?
Okay, of COURSE there's always some ways that even the most "proper" can brush up on their Etiquette skills. First of all, when you're sitting in a chair or just sitting at all, cross your legs at the ankles and gently put one hand on top of the other (or lightly folded together) on your lap. Next, NEVER reach across someone at the table. Pass condiments & side dishes to the left. (And if the passing's over & you need something, say "May I please use the salt & pepper?") Finally, always look the person you're speaking to STRAIGHT in the eye and walk with your shoulders back & your head held high. Look confident, people LIKE confident people. Best of luck & most importantly, HAVE FUN!!! :D
wow who else thought the VMA's
rocked?
I know this isn't advice, but, I did! haha. =D
I suck at straightening my hair... like i dont know how to do it.... SO how do i straighten my hair... do i put some up before i do it and leave a lil down or what????
Okay, straightening hair is simple. First of all, most straighteners require that your hair is COMPLETELY dry before you begin straightening (unless you have a special kind). Secondly, you CAN try some products BEFORE you straighten your hair as a little "prep job." I know Garnier just came out with a new straightening gel or spray or something like that. Finally, you may want to straighten it in layers. Pull all your hair up except for the very low pieces that are under all your other hair. Then, let more hair down & straighten that hair and so on.
