Hey everyone, i havent updated this for a while, but i still havent lost my nitch for giving good advice. I'm really into performing arts and visual arts are pretty much anything artsy and talent driven. So please...ask away.

i am a 13 year old girl, and i got my period for the first time today. i don't know how to tell my mom. any advice?
just simply be really open and say, "mom, i finally became a woman" She'll be so excited. it will be a really special moment between you guys.
hey im 14/m and im about 5'4" and weight around 130 (1 day i might weigh 128 or 129 then the next day 131 or 132) I know that im not fat at all, but i do have a little gut. I have been working out every other day for about 7 months and my arms and chest and legs and everything is starting to get really strong, but i cant lose this little gut..the rest of my body is pretty damn muscular but my stomach isnt. I asked the doctor and he said i have a much slower metabolism then most other kids, and there is nuthing wrong with that. what can i do to get rid of this?? ( o yea byu the way i run about a mile and a half every 2 or 3 days and i eat REALLLY HEALTHY) ???
Everything is ok, and that gut you have is all part of your genetics. there's nothing you can really do about it. the weight is from all the muscle you have. so 130lbs is pretty normal. muscle weighs more than fat. since you're only 14, chances are you'll grow a little taller, and you'll loose some of that gut. otherwise, its in your genes and there's nothing you can do. i'm sure if i saw you in real life, you would look absolutely beautiful! hope i helped =)
ok, i really want bangs. i have long blonde hair and i think it would wrap the look up. people say i should but then there is someone called my MOM who says i cant! it pisses me off because she doesnt let me do anything to my hair! how can i convice her?
geez, when it comes to your mom, there isnt anything you really can do, unless you go behind her back, or turn 18. whichever comes first. but dont go against her, you'll regret it in the long run. hope i helped! =)

awww, considering you like eyeliner alot, i take that as a huge complement. sherry, just seeing you in the morning totally makes my day. i love you to death for just being you and you always make me laugh. i always enjoy being around you, and thats what makes our relationship special. i love how you love your eyeliner and i love how you love saying hoe! you always cheer me up when i'm down, even if you dont know it. I have this bump on my armpit and my mom says its a razor burn, and i looked it up & it says the bumps can stay for 6 months-1 year. What can I use to try and get rid of it?

I have a problem with using the school bathrooms when I have to go #2. Theres no privacy. There are always girls in the bathrooms and locker rooms..even worse.during school the only one i can use are the ones in the halls. Well, the main door to the girls and boys bathrooms are open so people in the hall can hear you. Im an athlete and i drink lots of water and i eat healthy, so naturally im gonna have to go. I hate holding it in, but then again i need privacy and i dont want to go when people are around and can hear me. Anything i can do?
Second, one time i went #2 and it hurt really bad, and lotsa blood came out. You could see the blood in the toilet and everything. Later there was even blood in my underwear. : / How dangerous is this?

wow, you really need to tell your parents abou this and see your doctor, because right now, privace is the least of your worries. second, you need to address this problem to the school administration. if you voice your complaint well enough, they may actually do something about it.

I hate my hair! What are some good kinds of Straightners? Can someone help me? please!! thanx in advance!
i really dont much about the stuff, but relaxer will take all the poofiness out and make your hair alot straiter. you could also try towel drying your hair and scrunching it up with some gell. i hope it works. =)
Hello everyone! My class is writing letters to men and women over seas who will not be coming home for Christmas. Except in your letter you cannot talk in offense to President Bush or opposing the war. I really do not see a reason why war should be mentioned in the letter. I'm anti-war but it does not matter. The fact is that these men and women will not be home for Christmas and that is depressing. I am an okay writter and I write decent letters. I really thought it would be eassier but I found myself making a million drafts, not being sure what to write in the letter. I will not know who will receive the letter... it is in general. If anybody has any ideas on what would be something to write in the letter please, please help me. Besides wishing them a Happy Christmas and Merry New Year. you could always try going out somewhere, like aimlessly walking around the mall. thats always fun. you can make smooties/milkshakes at home in your blender, and have a contest on who makes the best one...buy a whole bunch of fruit and stuff. well, thats all the ideas i got. please rate high. hope i helped =)

wow, you sound like we could be best friends. i'm really into dance and singing. i'm in advanced dance in school and i've thought about making it big on broadway or something. for voice warmups, try going up and down the scale..like do re me fa so la te do, then go backwards, then sing it all and octive higher. thats what i do. to make it big, you need to find out when auditions for upcoming shows are, and thats how you get started. hey, with j-lo, it all started with an audition she thought she would never make. dont tell you parents unless they actually ask. if they do, then be absolutely honest and say you have it just incase and you would never want to go unprotected, and thet your not active. if your parents are nice, they should understand and trust you! hope i helped.

first of all, i dont know how old you are. if you are an adult, then its ok. otherwise, being at teenager with an adult is NOT a good idea. he probably want you for something like sex...but who knows...i'd have to know him and i have to know you, and your ages....if you can tell me, i'll give you some better advice. get back to me. =)

well, if he says "we need to talk", i think that means he's ready to hear an explanation for whats happening. set aside some time to talk to him, because if he's willing to listen, then you should be able to tell him how you feel. make sure you do it gently, so you wont break his heart too bad. if he still wont listen, the there's no choice than to be really rude and say "leave me alone forever" and stuff. but ya, wait till he's willing to listen to what you have to say.

actually, she probably does want to do "stuff" and there's nothing you can really do about it. if you like her as a friend, talk to her and tell her nothing is going to happen. if you dont care either way, then make excuses like you are busy and stuff...she'll eventually get the picture. =)

you have to make sure you do it when he's alone, like over the phone so he doesnt have to be embarresed in front of people when you do it. all you have to do is be nice and say it like it is. if he doesnt get it the first time, and he keeps on bugging you, keep at it. he'll eventually leave you alone. hope i helped! =)

the best way to tell someone off is to do just the opposite, and just walk away, litterally. in the end, they'll end up being frustrated and you will have accomplished what you have wanted. its something new i discovered...it works all the time. i really hope i helped! =)
