Letter to a Soldier Hello everyone! My class is writing letters to men and women over seas who will not be coming home for Christmas. Except in your letter you cannot talk in offense to President Bush or opposing the war. I really do not see a reason why war should be mentioned in the letter. I'm anti-war but it does not matter. The fact is that these men and women will not be home for Christmas and that is depressing. I am an okay writter and I write decent letters. I really thought it would be eassier but I found myself making a million drafts, not being sure what to write in the letter. I will not know who will receive the letter... it is in general. If anybody has any ideas on what would be something to write in the letter please, please help me. Besides wishing them a Happy Christmas and Merry New Year. Thank you very much for your time and consideration!

Send them a letter full of gossip and funny stories that have happened in the news or jokes. The letter they will all want is one which is really entertaining. tell them hollywood gossip-who's been nominated for the golden globes, whos getting married, having a baby, getting divorced, died etc.. tell them about sport scores and things like that. Jokes and storylines from soaps will really entertain them ]
well, just basically say that Thank you for serving our country, and I hope that your family is just as proud of you as I am. ( even though you oppose war you should just mention things besides the war) for instance you can be like Merry Christmas, you are the reason why we in America can have christmas because without you we wouldn't be here... or some kind of cheezy thing like that.. hope it helped =D ]
just tell them how much you aprreciate what they are doing for our country..that is not about war..but about serving our nation.
Tell them you are praying that they come home sfely and that their families cans ee them soon.
Aks them about life in Iraq..they may want to talk about what they are doing. youcan say that you are a student and that you want to kow about everyday life in Iraq.
Thes brave men and women..do this..for bascially nothng..They protect us..and our borders from ememies..they dersrve the respect and compassion for leaving thier familes..to do this.
No that is not about war..but about making the USA safe....
ps what a great thing you are doing! ]
You could thank them for their service - say how glad you are that they are risking their lives for you (even if you're anti-war, you should still be glad that they're over there doing what they're doing) and I dont know what else.. hope i helped ]
say how much we appreaciate them being there and fighting for our country, so we can be here safe for the holliday season. wish them good health and hope they come home alive and well. hope i helped! ]
Tell them that you are really proud that they'd stand up for our country and stuff like that. I mean, i'm anti-war too, but they are really brave to go and do what they do. Just think about what you'd want to read if you were in their position. Hope I helped!
