I am a sixteen year old girl in high school. I'm not really involved in a lot of clubs because of my health, and as far as I can tell, I haven't been sorted into any cliques because I guess I'm different from almost everyone in my school. But I have a crush on this really cute, preppy-type guy, and I don't know how to talk to him. I mean, I do. I'm just afraid to because he is always with his friends during the lunch period, including this one girl who is just like really mean, I guess. I want him to notice me, and to talk to me, but I don't want him to hate or think I'm weird. Can you plese help me?

Ok why cant you just say Hi and it may result to a good conversation talk to him in private though when this girls not around because she may start to be horrid and things
So she if this girls his girlfriend and if she's not ask him if you want to hang out and then if he agrees to hang out dont act all "yay cant wait" act casual like "Cool I'll see you there"

ok so i hang out with 1 group of people. i have many friends but my group all hang out in the same neighborhood at the same house everyday. we have like 6 guys and 6 girls. sadly all the girls except like 2 went on break and im the only one hangin with all the guys (and the 2 other girls) but im going fishing with a few of the guys (including my crush) and i dont know what to do or what to say! i think im bringing food and drinks but what to wear! ha what are some good conversation starters with guys and stuff. if you are a guy reading this PLEASE tell me what to do to impress! and dont say "be yourself" i always am its just sometimes ya know ya dont know what to say to ur crush! and i know them pretty well so i can talk about music and stuff but like im tweakin out! i need good convo starters PLEASE AND THANK YOU! Ok, so I use AOL, I know I know, it sucks. Whatever. I keep getting a message telling me that my security setting prevent ActiveX controls from being run on the page. Is there anyway to turn this off? I don't want to allow ActiveX for everything, but I don't want to be notified when it blocks something. I don't get the message on IE or firefox. And I don't need to be told to change ISPs or browsers. (link)

hey, well there is this guy i reeeeally like alot aaand well we dont know each other but im constantly checking him out soooooo i definitally know him i mean were not friends or anything we talk here and there but well anyway his girlfriend just broke up with him sooooo i was tinking about asking him to the dance or maybe asking him out buuut the problem is i dont want to ask him and find out that he doesnt like me but sometimes in class i see him staring at me and he acts hilarious around me as in he make s up jokes that make absolutly no sence buuuut i love them but he kinda acts a little shy around me to sometimes... i really like him an di really want to ask him out or to the dance but i am afraid that he is gonna say no and i am gonna be crushed!!! Maybe he wants to ask you if he is acting that way but maybe he really likes yu like you like him and he is to scared to ask so you may as well ask him its worth a try coz there may be a happy ending to the situation

i met my boyfriend at camp last year. he asked me out last year, and i said no, and he asked me out this year again, and i didnt want to say yes, but i felt obligated to. he is my first boyfriend and i didnt tell my parents. (dont tell me to tell my parents, becaus eim not going to). ive only told like 3 of my friends about him. but the problem is that i dont like him in "that way". i want to break up with him, but i still want to be friends with him and i dont want to hurt his feelings. what do i do? i dated my ex for 2 years.
he broke up with me around 2 months ago.
during the day i feel good about myself, like i can get over him, but one the night time comes around, i cry, alot. he still kisses me and holds me and stuff, but he talks to these 2 girls that don't like me, and they always talk a lot about me, and seeing him flirting w/ them and stuff hurts me alot. so i have 2 questions
1) how can i make nights any easier for me? i'm so sick of feeling sorry for myself.

I weigh around 169, i mean you cant tell i weigh that much, but anyway, i want to lose some weight, at LEAST 10 lbs. i was wondering how much would i lose in, lets say a week, if i did this 'diet'. where i had a fruit smoothie for breakfast, once a week i would have a protein shake, and a salad for lunch. and then at dinner i ate mostly healthy. i would also use my ablounge daily, and i play softball, so about and 1 1/2 hour practice of that a day. also i would run extra like once or twice a week. how much weight do you think i would lose in a week? and how much do you think i would lose if i keep this up? ok i have really long wavy hair and i straighten it and it comes out really nice but every time i go to sleep i put it into a pony tail and it has kinks and like a wave in it the next morning. but i really cant sleep with putting my hair down. does any 1 no any hair styles that keep your hair straight or any tecniques. all help is appreciated

Okay , so i babysit this sixth grader three days a week. & let me tell ya .. IT IS SOOOOO BORING OVER THERE! All that i ever do is watch t.v., eat, & talk on the phone. Oh yeah ... and i also get on the computer. Any ideas on what else I could do over there? He always goes over to his friends houses all the time , so its not like I can do anything with him. My family and i had 2 dogs. my mom found a cute puppy and asked us [my sister and me] if we wanted one. i said no because the 2 dogs that we already have get no attention and are always chained up outside [my mom makes them, so don't point fingers at me] and i said that the puppy would end up exactly like the other dogs: with no attention and always chained up. we got another dog anyways. and what i said is what happened. what do i do? i feel bad but i never wanted that puppy because i knew what would happen (link)
