Ok, well I heard this one person say "I think he was hitting up on me". What does 'hitting up' mean?? If it helps, the person who said it was a guy in high school, a junior I think. He might have been joking around or something like that though, because it kind of sounded like it, but I couldn't tell. Anyways, all I wanna know is what it means. I rate.

I want to get a cell phone. My mom says if I can pay for it I can get one. Where can I get a inexpensive pre-paid flip phone? Right now I have like $30-$35 dollars. I know that isn't enough but I'm going to keep saving.

Some AT+T ones are $40, same with cingular. It all depends what plan you have!

My cousin knows I do this advice thing, and she has a question, but she's embarassed to ask me and she wants to ask the whole site not just one specific user. The problem is, she's 12. Would I get into trouble letting her ask it under my username? What about if I at least convince her to ask it to just one specific columnist, would that be okay? She won't tell me what the question is, so how do I go about it? I know that you're supposed to be 13+ to ask questions on this site, but... I don't know. What kind of trouble would I get in for letting her ask under my username? I won't if I'd get into trouble, like if I'd lose my modship, or if I'd be banned, but I can't convince her to ask me. So, would I be breaking the rules?

The reason why there's that age limit is because of some of the inopropiate questions. But if she just asked a question it would be fine!

In the Sims 2, one of my families has a teenage daughter and her asipiration is knowladge. One of her "wants" is to go to a private school. I've filled all of her other wants but she still wants to go to a private school. How do I get her to go to a private school? I can't seem to find out anywhere! Thanks if you can help.

I wanna get my nose pierced, i haven't asked my mom yet, but when i was 14 she said i could get it done at 15 and im 16 now. so she'll def. say yes. we're not allowed piercings you can see, besides your ears.. but there are a few kids in my school that have their noses pierced, because their like dating the principals sons and stuff, i don't think that should be allowed, its like their getting special treatment or something, right?

I love having sleep overs they are so much fun but sometimes I wish that I could have them where i live and not feel nervous becuase i live in an apartment. No one has ever said anything bad about living in an apartment but where i live thei rare very few and everyone i know lives in a house well most people do. I get embarresed when people come over becuase i kno they think that im poor and everything and they dont expect it becuase i always buy expensive and really nice stuff pluss clothes because my mom has more money to give me than when we used to live in a house . Should i be ashamed of this?

hey. yeah, i'm an insomniac. as long as i can remember i haven't ever been able to fall asleep is less that like 3 hours. so i basically go to bed at 3 and wake up at 6.30 (school days). i don't take medicine for it but i need to! i want to sleep and my mom has sonata (i guess she also has insomnia) and i want to take one. she'd never notice and i dont think she'd really care. should i take one? i mean what bad will it do? also, does anyone else take sleeping pills or have insomnia? thanx

Ok I have been suicidal for a while, and haven't had an episode for about a month... I have scars on my stomach and arms.. but I can't stop thinking I need more cuts... yes we use the pet names...all the time + we have thought od new 1s for eachother....but...

I don't care you forgot to mention that part...no biggie! :) The feeling in the pit of your stomache...that means you deffinently like him! Start to talk to him more in person, like if your in the same class ask to borrow a pen/pencil....if not ask for some food at lunch.....if you don't have lunch together either just start bringing up convasation! And if you have the guts, call him to ask something on homework! That takes a while to do though, especialy if your shy! Tell me if it works out! :) (Or if you need more help)
