He told them basically that they were going to get help, would be back soon, and that they were going to be alright, when in reality, they were ditching thier parents, leaving them to die of the disease.

i'm sorry if this grosses anyone out..
since january, i've thrown up at least 100 times. maybe even more than that. i've been to the doctor, and they all say the same thing. that it's allergies. they say that i have nasal issues, and it's almost like mucus travels down to my sthomach and makes me throw up. i've been throwing up since january. it's not like it's every night..but it's every few weeks. i've been 3 times, and i get the same answer each time, and i get medicine. i got sick last night. but i didnt get sick off food, it was nothing but bile. this happened maybe 3 or 4 times last night. usually, if it rains, i get sick. i'm allergic to mold. and the rain stirs the mold up, as the doctor says. but i'm positive it didnt really rain last night. my mom said it was lightening a little bit and it was really cloudy, but the ground wasnt wet when she woke up this morning. i'm honestly really tired of getting sick all the time. i dont want to go to the doctor again, because i dont want tog et the same answer. i dont think it can be sinus problems, because i think that they would have gone away on their own by now. i thought that since i was basically swallowing it, then it would alll be gone by now. and if it was that, dont you think i'd be seeing mucus when i get sick? any answers that anyone gives will be great. If you have a severe sinus infection, it can last for years, some people have them for a long time and never know. If they really think that is the problem, you can get your alnoids (spelled really wrong, sorry) removed, its a minor surgery, and it would take care of it probably. But if that isn't the issue, then obviously it won't help. And usually when you vomit because of mucas, you do see the mucas because you start to vomit just as its draining into your stomach. I'd go find a different doctor and try again. Sinus allergies really shouldn't be whats wrong. Not for this long, unless you have year round allergies and are contantly stuffy/runny nose and such.

I've had two abortions previously and they have been very expensive $$$. I just found out that I'm pregnant again and I don't want the baby and so my first thought was to have another abortion right away. I called the clinic and they gave me the same estimate as the previous time and I really don't have that kind of money right now and don't know how I can come up with the money. Is there a way I can get a cheap abortion or something really low-cost? I just turned 18 a couple of weeks back so I don't think my parents insurance would cover it or anything either so that's kind of out of the question I think. I don't think I can ask my parents for money for the abortion this time because they already paid for the first one I had.
I'm up for any ideas you guys might have.

First off, after having two abortions I'm surprised you're still capable of getting pregnant. Usually abortions can harm your body in a way that can prevent you from having children later in life. Secondly, a "cheap" abortion would definitely hurt you, hurt you badly, and possibly kill you due to either damage or infection. Girls die all the time getting the "cheap way out". Also, I'm sad that you don't want your child. There are so many people who want children terribly but can't have them. Its a gift to be capable of having children while others cannot. So, I'd personally say to reevaluate everything and consider giving the child away this time, it could change someone else's life and make thier dreams come true, it could be such a beautiful gift you could give someone else. If you are dead set against continuing the pregnancy, I just advise you to not look for an easy cheap way out. Its not safe (well, no form of abortion is safe) If you don't want to allow life to grow and be given to someone else, at least look after your own life. (and the healthiest, safest thing for your own health really would be to attempt to have the baby. Its a natural thing that a woman's body generally wants to do and will fight to do.)
I know it isn't what you wanted to hear, but its my genuine advice without going into my personal beliefs.

Yes, I do. I bought it off a friend, and he didn't know what the model was or anything, but its an 80's model Epiphone 12 string acoustic. Now, if you want to get into bass guitars... I can talk bass for hours!!

Everyone hates me and makes fun of me. I hate going to school even tho I make good grades. I have no friends and everyone uses me. My acne is ruining my life. I don't like looking in the mirror because I think Im so ugly. I have scars and red bumps on my face from acne. I feel Like i have the worse acne ever. I have never seen a person with worse acne than me. I need a quick way to get rid of my acne. I'm nice to people and they turn around and talk about me and call me zit face. I even cried when a group of girls started yelling at me calling me pimple face and everyone started laughing. It ruined my whole day. I already have self esteem issues cuz of my acne. People at school always beg and take my school supplies and they beg for my food. These girls in almost all of my classes talk about me for no reason, and I haven't done anything wrong. I'm nice to everybody. Every single day there's a kid in all of my classes asking me for paper and pencils. Some people even take things out of my pocket, when they don't ask, and I don't say anything. If I don't give them what they want they will be mean and talk about me, it bothers me cuz im sensitive and might cry later on. I don't want people to hate me or try to fight me if I say no or tell an adult. Most of the kids in my first 2 classes cheat off of me, this year I hated my first 2 classes and I think i'm starting to hate school. Ive tried neutrogena, Pro Active, clininque, putting egg on my face and all kinds of masks and a lot more. none of it works. My doctor says its hard to find a dermatologist that will take my insurance and they cant find me one. Its embarrassing that I have to go to school with a huge red bump on my face and pp staring and laughing. Im going to be a junior next year and I dont want to be miserable again. I trie to cover my face with make up and it does nothing and sometimes it makes it look worse :'(. (link)

I know how you feel - I had bad acne during 8th and 9th grade. I mostly grew out of it, but at age 21, I still get acne regularly, but no where near as badly. In Jr. High, I was prescribed a medication that comes as either a liquid you drink or a pill, Erythromycin. But, I didn't take it for very long because it gave me bad stomach aches, but it doesn't do that to everyone. It works really well, takes a while to take effect though. A friend of mine takes birth control to maintain her skin, it works really well for her, but again, takes a while to start working, and once you stop taking it, it gets pretty bad again. There's also a vaccination you can get that fights the acne causing bacteria, I haven't heard much about it though.
Have you tried tanning beds? Anything that can dry out your skin will help a lot, and tanning will do that. Also, straight up 100% strong rubbing alcohol - it burns, but it dries up your skin and kills bacteria. Also Witch Hazel, even hydrogen peroxide helps.
And don't wear foundation or powder or anything, that will only rub bacteria into your pores and make acne worse. Your skin needs to heal, so don't put anything on your face that doesn't help dry out your skin.

Hi, I am 17f and I just broke my foot at the beggining of summer. Usually I would have my job at the local grocery store, be able to take my dog for walks, go out with friends, and go visit people, but with a broken foot that is hard to do...
Now, I am stuck inside and though I have some hobbies (drawing, crocheting, sewing, baking, designing) I feel as if I need something more to do. Things get boring after a while. Most of my friends are out having fun, working, or are away. Without crutches I can stand up for about fifteen minutes before I need to sit, so I was able to make muffins the other day (Still a little hard though). I feel I am getting lazy sitting around most the time. I know it sounds crazy cause I can do lots.. I just need ideas or thoughts on how I can have a fun summer. It sucks to be stuck inside!

I'm sorry about your foot, I know that that isn't fun! But there totally is a lot of things you can do, besides those you listed, to pass the time and have fun doing. You can have movie parties/junk foot fests with friends/family. Take up an instrument like guitar or clarinet or something. Learning an instrument is a great thing to do, you can sit comfortably doing it and its pretty time consuming, and relaxing as long as you aren't hard on yourself. Its also pretty mentally stimulating. You could also get into video games, theres something out there for everyone. You could also sit outside somewhere on nice days, read a book and soak up the sun. If its not too late to get a part time summer job, I'm sure you could find one where you can sit, like a desk receptionist help or something.

There isn't much out there for free, except random YouTube videos that may or may not be that helpful. You'd get better quality help and a cheaper price, if you're willing to pay at all, if you got private voice lessons. Go to a music/instrument store and they can probably hook you up with a voice teacher, that or your school or a college near by. One on one instruction works much better than online lessons anyways.

I'd say that that is probably a pretty good offer actually. I can't imagine any dealer offering one for much less. Maybe $900, maybe. They leave a little cushion room for dealing. Try to get them to include the case in that price, if they haven't already, and I'd say go for it!

Hi there. 22/f, if it makes a difference.
Has anyone here gotten a tattoo removed via laser treatments? What was your experience? Did it hurt? :( Did it work? How long did it take? Why did you do it? Or, if you thought about it and didn't do it, why not? If you're for or against tattoos, why? If you're for or against their removal, why?
Mine is on my back between my shoulder blades, all black ink, the lines are unfortunately kind of thick, and it's about the size of my palm. I have a consultation with a doctor who specializes in this next week, and I'm a little nervous. :(
Anyway, any experiences with this, bad or good, would be helpful. Any thoughts at all, really, would be appreciated. Feel free to just comment on the idea of tattoos and/or laser removal if the mood strikes you.

I have never had a tattoo removed, but my boss has. She got a chest piece removed several months ago, she said it hurt more than she could have imagined, and she got some pretty bas scars. Last week she actually got a new chestpiece to try to cover up the damage, which didn't turn out too well. Thats the only story of anyone I know personally.
I'd say, if you don't want to risk scars/skin discoloration or any of the potential things that can go wrong, try to get the tattoo changed if you really don't like it, or else leave it alone.

so me and my boyfriend had sex june 23rd through the 26th. we used condoms and he pulled out in advance before he came and there were no breaks, holes, etc, but also i'm not on birth control. i was supposed to get my period around the 3rd or 4th this month but i've just been cramping off and on like its going to happen and then it doesnt and i also have some white discharge. i've been stressing quite a bit that i could be pregnant but considering the circumstances i dont think i am. premenstrual symptoms are almost the same as pregnancy ones so i cant tell. i think i'm just paranoid. could i be pregnant though? If you have sex, there's always the possibility of getting pregnant, even if every precaution is taken. So yes, you could be pregnant. But you might not be. In a couple weeks if you still don't have your period, call your doctor. You just might be irritated internally. Or you might be getting onto that time of the month. Don't be paranoid, but don't be oblivious either. Don't be afraid to seek help from your family and your boyfriend too.

I personally like to chew/suck on things, so I'm usually chewing gum or something. But the whole pacifier thing, though may satisfy the urge to have something in your mouth, probably isn't cool. Pacifiers should be taken away from children when they start growing thier teet, because the action of sucking on something in that position of your mouth is bad for your teeth - it can make them crooked and bent, and loosen your gums. So, ditch the pacifier and put something else in your mouth, like gum.

I used to be able to record video's on facebook and post them when I first got my computer which was in October. However, a couple months ago I wasn't able to anymore. There came a point where i restarted my laptop to the settings when i just got it. That didn't help. The video box only shows up sometimes now like when I don't even want to make a video. I would really like to make one because I haven't in a long time but I just don't know what to do to make the webcam work. I do refresh the page and restart the computer and sign off and back on but it doesn't work. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thank you in advanced :) (link)

Sometimes Facebook has issues. You might need to update your internet browser to make Facebook functions run properly. Also check to see if your webcam is working (just open up the application and try it) to see if its your webcam, not the Facebook function, that has a problem. If you check both of these and nothing improves, you can probably e-mail facebook technical support.

My boyfriend's 18th birthday day is coming up and I wanted to get him a plane ticket to where he used to live.. but his parents said no. (I know he's 18 but he still lives under his parents roof.)
We live in Rhode Island so I was thinking about taking him to Block Island for the day but I also want to get him a really nice present.. I just don't know what.

I could think of a million gifts, if only I knew what he was interested in, so I'm going to go very general guyish things that I've given to guys. Paintball gun, magazine subscription, guitar cleaning kit, leather jacket, video games, man-jewelry, Bible, awesome board game like Apples to Apples, racing bike, CD's, band tee's, etc. I could list a lot of things I've gotten guys, but you know your boyfriend. Take his interests into consideration and get him something he'll use and enjoy, remember you by always, and that will let him know that you deeply thought about him and care about him. Just don't go the gift card route, unless he's actually into shopping.

i am 20 my ex bf is 21. we were together for the pass two years. we were on and off for those two years for various reasons. we broke up this febuary and tried to be friends which didnt work because we spent all day together, talked to each other more than our friends, and were intimate but just didnt label ourselve bf/gf. we completly stopped all of this in march.
during our relationship, he wanted me to change some things to better myself and "our" future at the time. examples: like a better job, or move out, be more comfortable around his friends and family. (i was a shy girl).
three weeks ago, i was the one who texted him two weeks ago. we had lunch and he asked how i was doing and how my life was going. i told him i had found a much better job, i wasnt even looking just came across it from a friend and was hired. i went on his dream vacation and to a basketball game of his favorite team. i am even more open to people i meet and less shy, thanks to him. after lunch i asked to be friends, he said he couldnt handle it. he could never introduce me to anyone as his friend because he still loves me and cares for me too much. he couldnt even be my friend on facebook because he would get jealous and look at my fb stats. a week later we decided to be friends, he was hesitate at first but agreed to be actual friends this time.
then i told him my plan that i might move out because i am fiancially set now. he freaked out on me and said he cant be my friend. he thinks im doing this just to get back or make him jealous. he thinks i didnt make myself better when i was with him because i didnt care about him enough. he knows that its spiteful and he should be happy for me but he cant be. he said that im going to be the perfect girl and i will be with someone else so we cannot be friends. then he told me. "i hope whoever you marry, you have learned to love." this might have been out of anger when he saw me with a guy two nights ago.
i did grow up and mature from when i met him two years ago. but i am not doing this to make him jealous or to get him back. we had a lot of issues that we needed to work on and i think we are better off single or not with each other for now at least. i do love him and always will. he has helped me mature in so many ways and i have told him thank you numerous times, thats why i want him in my life as a friend. maybe years down the road we could be together but not now.
i just want to be his friend and have him understand that i am doing this for myself more then anyone else. i dont want him to be spiteful either but i know i cant force it on him and he has to do it alone...any word of advice?

It sounds like he's a little scared and unsure. Give him some time - technically its still quite a recent break up. Let him know that you care about him and that its important to you that he is a part of your life, then give him some space and he'll come to you when he's ready, and after a few months, if it seems like he's still not ready, don't worry, but remind him in some small way that he is still important to you. And also let him know that you haven't shut off the romance idea completely, that one day you might want him again, but that right now you need to live your life for yourself and develop into the person you are meant to be independantly.

My cousin, who I live with, has a dog.The dogs name is Reese. She's a pitbull, I dont know if she's mixed with anything or not. And she's like a year old...
My cousin has a son thats 10 months old.
Well Reese has just recently taken an interest in acting like 3 of the babies toys are puppies.
The toys are a trumpet that has music, a book that has a squeaky toy in it, & a rubberduck.
The dog carries them around, licks them clean, hides them in corners under clothes, hides them in the bed, acts just like they are puppies.
& one time she lost the rubber duck and cried/whined until we found it..
She's only started to do this a month ago..Why is she doing this?!

Some dogs will act like they are pregnant or have puppies before they go into heat (the dog version of having a period). Not all dogs will do this, but it really is not abnormal. If the dog was recently fixed, then she might do that for a while until her hormones calm down. Otherwise, getting the dog fixed might solve the problem... unless there's the possiblity that the dog is already pregnant, sometimes pregnant dogs will act like they already have puppies, and if the dog is a year, she's capable of having puppies if given the opportunity to breed, though it isn't the healthiest thing for a dog that young.

A few years ago at worship in the wilderness I won an awsome bible! I just love it, it breaks everything down, and its just great! It is a paper back though, and i have sort of worn it out. I would like a new one in hard cover. But I think they have quit making them!
My bible is the extreme teen bible NKJV

You can always go too your local Christian Bookstore if you have one - explain to them what you are looking for and they can easily help you find something similar, or even the same thing. If they don't have any in stock they can order one, or give you a catalogue.

I am a 23 year old female and I was raised Christian in a very religious family. As I grew up and started to form my own opinion I decided to not refer to myself as a Christian. I have not been to church since I turned 18 and moved out. I believe in God 100% but I do not believe in Christianity. I feel as if apart of me doesn't believe in religion. I'm trying to decide if maybe I just haven't been exposed to the right religion. Or maybe I shouldn't classify myself as one religion. Maybe I should just love God, live right, and treat people good and not study one religion. What should I do? (link)

Religion is man's attempt at God. What God wants is us to have a Relationship with Him. You say you believe in God 100%. Jesus is God's Son, He was sent to earth to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Anyone who says that they are a sinner and ask Jesus to forgive them will be forgiven and can have a relationship with God (The ONLY way to have a true relationship with God is through His Son, Jesus). Ready for the most quoted scripture known to man? John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." God loves you and wants a relationship with you, and you can't have that relationship without Christ.
My advice to you is to study the Bible. Don't look at it as if it were some rule book that people are forcing you to abide by, but read it like it is a love letter written for you by a Loving Father.
If you are turned off by Christianity, then you need to meet a different group of Christians. Loving people who follow God.
Don't give up on Christ, because He will never give up on you. He died for you.

So my moms is being ridiculous and not letting me wear eyeliner to school. I'm gunna be a sophmore ;'( and i do not even put hardly any on! she makes me so mad like i cant even have a discussion with her about it. She took it away out thin air. Like suddenly "u cant wear eyeliner" so my question is how can i make my eyes look good with out eyeliner. My style is kinda Vintage with a rock twist. WHICH IS WHY I LIKE A LITTLE EYELINER. shes so stupid. anyway my eyes are green and blond hair i would really appreciate it. plus "eyeliner" doesnt count as some black under the eye so if you could give me some tips on that. Don't hide eyeliner from your mother. Try talking to her again, find out her reasoning why she took it away, and try to reason with her, convince her that you deserve to be able to wear it. In the mean time, just using eyeshadow works. Use the same color you're wearing, or a brown, and make it thin and dark near your lashes. It works - I do that whenever I run out of eyeliner.

I heard this song on the radio. I think I've heard it before but it seems like a long time ago. I am thinking it might be an old song. It repeats a lot of numbers a lot. I think it's like a phone number but a made up one, of course, for the song. It says, "Jenny, I got your number...I got your number..." over and over too.
