What does the term "in heat" mean when referring to animals? I just know it's somthing sexual..
IN HEAT means when a female animal is not fixed and she gets her period. All animals must be in heat to get pregnant. Females are usually in heat for a month. Interesting isn't it? My dog just had puppies.

No this is not weird. Everyone can watch soap operas especially when they are depressed. do sometimes but some people like the conflict and the romance. So no it's not weird.

Yes laughing works out your abs and also your jaw. Really good work outs for your abs are crunches. You can do crunches while watching TV. That's what I do or you can do as many as you want before going to bed.

Tell your other friend that your parents didn't feel comfortable you going to someone they didn't really know. Tell her it's not your fault it's what my parents decide and they know best and they want to know my friends parents before I can have sleep overs...

Ask your friend why she is always yelling at you. Tell her she is making you very incomfortable and friends are supposed to support friends not make them sad. She'll understand. Tell her to treat her friends the way she wants to be treated.

I think i might be Bisexual. i am a 15 year old female girl. Being bisexual is not wrong. Yet you might not be bisexual. You may just like to experiment, like with girls. This also may be a stage in your life you may grow out of it. Lots of girls feel this way. Your not a criminal. My advice is too do what you want to do and just live your life.

You don't have to get her anything. Just your heart. But if you wanted to get her something I would suggest flowers or a charm bracelet. That way you could have memories. But just tell her how you feel and I'm that would be the best gift every.

Tell your mom that now that your friend is a BI does not mean that she is any different then she was before. She still likes guys and now girls but that doesn't mean her personality will change. Tell your mom that if one of her best friends were BI would you stop being friends with her? Make her understand.

Yes that is totally normal for a dog. They may have fleas. My dogs are golden retreivers and they do that and they are the friendliest dogs in the world. Don't worry.

Tell your mom that you'd really appreciate it if she supported you playing guitar. Tell her even though you want to play the guitar it doesn't mean you'll be a boy. Tell her lots a girld that are famous play the guitar and give her examples. Tell her that if she loved you she would appreciate what you want to do and tell her to do it in respect!

You could try to paint a new color on the walls something that describes you. Also you could go to really cheap stores and buy some thing that can make cool lamp designs or rugs. Anything to make you room YOU!!
ok well im very upset at my father for sumthing that he does. so my boyfriend is a really big guy and i dont mind at all and my dad likes him and all but my dad always calls him shrek when my bf is not around. i always get mad at my dad for sayin that bc i like my bf alot and he cant help if hes a big guy. i mean my dad isnt that skinny either so i dont think he should be sayin nething. but its like everywhere we go my dad finds sumthing shrek and says "hey we should get this for shrek" and it really hurts me. how can i make my dad stop before he slips up and says sumthing in front of my bf?
Listen, Tell your dad you want him to respect your boy friend, and that you really like him and you don't want him making fun of him because he is big. Even tell him "People don't go around calling you Shrek" Tell him to treat your boy friend the way you would want to be treated and if he says he wouldn't mind then call him somthing for awhile(if hes no so stricked) Give him a taste of his own medicine...

hey even tho its awkward for you.. just think how he feels, i bet tons of people treat him different cuz of that, and thats not rite. how would you feel, if someone who you knew for a long time treated you different for that?? just try to act the same... like nothings different, cuz its not really that different then it was before... it shouldn't change your relationship with him... he's still the same person he was before..
My family expects me to be exactly like my cousin, "Sarah". Sarah's one of those preppy, popular girls, & I'm not even close to that. I have a few close friends & I'm more laid-back. Just because we look alike (we look like sisters), everyone expects us to act alike. I hate being compared to Sarah all the time & being expected to be like her. I don't want to be her shadow. Tell your family how you feel and what you just said in your advice column. Tell them you want to be your own person not a complete clone of your cousin Sarah. They should understand, and if they don't tell them it's not what they want it's what you want...
