Just recently, a man apparently came to my school. I don't really know who he is but they've been calling him Prophet Murphy. He's this guy that predicted the 9/11 fiasco and now he's like, come to my school and talked to the principal. I go to a high school in Vermont and he told the principal that there was going to be a shooting at the school this friday, the 13th of May. I'm a little bit confused because I don't know if the guy even came. It could all be just a rumor that some idot circulated. One of my best friends ex-boyfriend had told her that he planned on shooting up the school. I told her to tell the principal but I don't think she's going to. My other friend told her mom about the rumor and now she's not going to come to school because her mom's not letting her. Kristin's dad doesn't believe her and neither does mine. I just don't really know what to do. Should I take this seriously and cut school or something or is it nothing?

He's just supersticious. May the 13th is on a Friday. So, he probably figures somthing bad is going to happen that day, being a Friday and 13th at the same time. This is weird...because if it does happen, then everyone will say he was right. But at the same time, if it doesn't happen because the principal took action some how, then he's wrong. Just because he was right once doesn't mean he will be right again. And he probably can't prove that he really did predict 9/11 anyway, so...I wouldn't cut school because it is merely Friday the thirteenth, but you really can't know how serious this guy is. Weird.
Then again, it could be that "Prophet Murphy" is planning it himself. So, I dont know about this. You should tell the police and try and find this guy.

i have an iPod shuffle and an iRiver (n10-103). i have to let go of one...
the iRiver has 8 hours of music
the iPod shuffle fits 120 songs (assuming each songs was about four minutes, that's 8 hours of music)...but i heard that the 8 hours of music thing was a lie (?!!)
the iRiver is black
the iPod shuffle is white
the iRiver costs more
the iRiver has an LCD screen, radio, and supports voice recording
they're both flash mp3 players
which one should i keep?
*i'm kind of leaning towards the iRiver, but my brother has an iPod and keeps on singing its praises.
i also think (against my will) that i'm also being a bit swayed by iPod's marketing... the iPod has a reputation, and apple is famous...
also... i live in korea, where EVERYONE has the iriver n10...and it's fricking annoying. i'd like a more unique-looking mp3 player...but it's a pity that with the ipod shuffle you can't view songtitles.. :( (link)

Keep the ipod. You don't need a screen anyway.
If you know your music then you don't need a screen. I, personally, have an MP3 player with a screen and I dont use it at all. Don't be hatin' apple.
Besides, that thing is kindof clunky...and i'm not gay. lol

I am interested in geting a 1999 Honda Prelude, my boyfriend has one, and its preal white, and I love it! I want to get one too, either in peral white, or black, maybe even that firey orangish red. Can someone please tell me the price for these? my boyfriends was I think $10,500 and it was used.
So Is that still the case? and how hard is it going to be to find one? I Know theyre arnt that many!

I am debating putting in a new exhaust into my car. I picked up a moderate 50$ exhaust from a local garage. They said they were giving me a decent deal on it. I'm hoping that this new exhaust will give me a lot more power and speed. If it doesnt, what can I try to make my car faster?

An exaust system isn't going to help you much. What you really need to do is get more air into the engine. You can do this with K&N filters, superchargers, and turbos. Superchargers can cost anywhere from $150 and up. On that model truck you can turn the air filter cover up-side down; it helps a little. I did that on mine; a '91 S-10.

my computer is practically BRAND NEW. It used to be so fast, not a problem. All the sudden it's been running SO slow. So I did the spybot & adaware search and destroy... fixed that. But now, whenever I'm on the internet and AIM, it disconnects. it signs me offline and the website i'm on stops working. then it'll re connect. this happens like every 5 minutes. what could be the problem? Is it Comcast? (cause that's what i use) (link)

It could be spyware that those programs didn't catch. Run Msconfig and and look for anything suspicious.

All throughout my life I've broken every set of headphones I've ever owned. I really dont know what the deal is. They always seem to lose connection on the right side. Does this happen to anyone else? Anyway, I kind of borrowed some headphones from my sister and now Ive found that I've broken those too. .. Anyone know how to fix it? That has happened to me too. I have fried four sets and the same thing has happened. They all shorted out on one side or both. What you need to do is get a soldering iron, there might be one lying around your house and get a small knife or box cutter. This may do more damage, but if theyre gone, theyre gone. Take the headphones apart and then disconnect the wire from the broken side. now take some of the insulation off of the wire (about a half-inch) so that you can see the wire on the inside, but don't cut the metal wire on the inside. Take your hot soldering iron and remove all of the original solder. Now, take the metal wire that you stripped and hold it on the spot it was originally. Now solder it on. If this doesn't work then the wire is shorted-out in another location; possibly further down the wire. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

Any time I get a "page not found" thing on my window (like when i try to type in an incorrect address or something) and try to use the back button, my computer starts acting crazy and all these windows pop up, like at least 25 of them and i can't exit out of them (and they're all blank...its not like pop up adds or anything, but they do have an address at the top with a bunch of letters, numbers, slashes, etc.). whats wrong with it and can I prevent this from happening?? on my FAVORITE dvd, i got a scrath on it, and it skips at my FAVORITE part that i want to watch. i wiped it off with water and a tissue, and it skips a LITTLE bit less, but still at my favorite part. is there any kind of home remedee that i can put it it to make the scrath go away? even if it doesnt completely go away... what can at least help? Take a q-tip and some rubbing alchohol and but the alchohol on the q-tip. Take the q-tip and wipe off the whole cd then wipe it off again with somthing really soft, like a cotton shirt. But make sure you don't use somthing that will make more scratches. Another think iv'e heard that works is taking some oil out of your hair and putting that on the scratch...and let it dry of course it you do the q-tip cleaning...

i'm only 13 and i already weigh 145 pounds.. that's more than my 16 year old brother! anyway, i was just wondering if there was any way to lose as much weight as possible in the least amount of time without exercising excessively or starving myself? oh, and on my face, i was bushyish eyebrows, and although i think i'm... alright looking, the eyebrows kind of kill it. any way to fix that without plucking or waxing? thankz, !Jacy! Some phones can use USB to connect to your computer and you can send files that way. Or, just to make things complicated, if you have AIM on your phone then you could send the picture through AIM to your computer...
