However since you already pretty much did that, I believe in Walmart/Target/Staples they sell little disc repair kits, that usually help. I think it comes like with a fluid thingie and a cleaner thing that makes it spin around while its cleaning it. They're pretty inexpensive. To protect your discs from future scratches, try those DSKIN things, they come like 5 in a little container and they protect the back and sides of the disk. Hope I've Helped! ♥ [ xOtWiXi's advice column | Ask xOtWiXi A Question ]

I don't know how well it will work on dvd but it doesn't change cd picture any. You need to wipe it off smooth or spin it in a cheap walmart cd cleaner to get off excess wax. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

If you go to any electronics store that sells CD's and DVD's or a CD store, they'll have it there. Basically what it does is it buffs away the scratch that's causing the skipping. They run about 15-20 dollars but it's worth every penny. Hope this helped. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
