Does anyone know any good free file hosting sites? Like, ones where you can upload songs and get a URL for them. I tried FileLodge.com and it wouldn't work right, so does anyone know any others?

I prefer megaupload, myself, because, although the size limit is smaller, it gives you "time elapsed" and "time left" on your upload.

im a 13 year old girl. im really nervous that ill get my period one day in the middle of school. are there any signs that will let me know if im about to get it?

Some physical pre-menstrual symptoms will probably be things like back pain, lower stomach cramps and bloating. Emotionally, you may feel depressed or extra sensitive to things that normally wouldn't upset you. Before your period, you may also crave certain foods, like chocolate.

My advice to you is to always be prepared. No matter whether or not you know for sure you're going to start your period, carry a pad or tampon with you at all times.

my skin is pale with a tint of red and i cant stand it. i use cover girl clean makeup creamy natural cover up and it always makes my face look like its pealing can anyone help??

Covergirl TruBlend is really, really good - it's a light, smooth base that won't cake or peel and looks good all throughout the day.

I would also make sure you scrub your face thoroughly every night before bed and to apply a tiny bit of lotion to your face before putting on base. And, when you're putting the makeup on, use as little as possible - that way, there's less excess makeup and less of a chance that your makeup will rub off or cake. The less makeup you use, the more natural it looks.

okay ive died my hair like 4 times in the last 3 months and my hair is kinnda unhealthy like i put stuff in it about once every 2 weeks and i do straighten it. what can i do to make it more soft and healthy?(dont say dont straighten it because i have to)

I straighten my hair regularly, as well, and I use a product called Biosilk, which you should be able to get at any store that specializes in hair and makeup products - I suggest Sally's.

It's somewhat expensive but it's a professional product and it really helps to soften your hair and defend it from damage due to excessive exposure to heat.

You could also look for special shampoos and conditioners that are made to reconstruct or treat your hair from damage. And there are all kinds of heat protection sprays that are made specifically for your hair while using a straightener. Beyond Zone 'Turn Up the Heat' spray is really good for that, especially if you're using a heavy duty straightener like the chi.

Anyone know that code for myspace that can make you write big AND have any color you want? I`ve seen some people having it & they can put it as their captions on their pictures and write something. I have this code to do that, but it`s too long to fit as a caption. So there must be one smaller I`m guessing. Any one know it?

well, i am an icon maker on iconator (and if you've ever been there you know that there are millions of idiots who have nothing better to do then i/m you), so sosmeone imed me long enough for me to say "who is this", and then warned me. I was justs wondering, do warnings go away? How long does it take to go away? And also, i tried to warn HER, but it wouldnt let me; why is this?

Warnings are generally pointless. The only person it effects is whoever it was that warned you. If this person warns you a certain number of times, it blocks you from his/her buddy list. That's it. The 'percent' next to your name will go away within a day or two but it does absolutely nothing, anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm not familiar with all of the Butthole Surfers' music but most of what I've heard by them sounds deep and profound but tends to have no real meaning. But, like I said, I haven't heard a lot of their music.

What I got from the lyrics to this song is that death is an unstoppable force and, no matter how a person lives his or her life, every person meets the same fate. And the chorus, to me, describes how people put on facades in order to appear better than they really are and that you never know just what a person is thinking and how they view the world around them.

Of course, just like any other song, the meaning is open to debate. That was just the impression I got from it.

I wonder whether any music folks out there can help me? I'm working on my audition piece "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from the Phantom of the Opera. On the sheet music, the phrase "too many..." (in the line "too many years fighting back tears why can't the past just die?" if you have the sheet music) the syllables are three quarter notes. Above the quarter notes is a bracket with "3" written on it. What does this mean?

I'm pretty sure that means that the three notes are tied together and the three of them are worth one quarter note. So obviously they're a little faster. I could be wrong but I'm almost certain.

It's called rebound. You broke up with him, he felt immasculated, so he asked another girl out to show you that he doesn't need you.

So you shouldn't feel hurt - firstly, because you were the one that broke up with him in the first place and secondly, because he probably doesn't really care about this girl or anything.

Boys are ridiculous because it's part of their chemical composition. They can't help it.

Find out what his interests are (over the internet, maybe) and bring them up at school. Talk about what music you like, teachers you hate, what you're doing this weekend .. anything. Maybe the reason he talks to you more online than he does in person is because he's nervous or, like you, doesn't know what to say. Just be friendly. :)

I'm not a guy but it definitely sounds like this guy's just trying to get into your pants.

I think, for your sake, the best thing to do would be to get over him and pursue a relationship with a guy who doesn't want nothing from you but sex .. assuming there are any of those out there.

And be careful with him - he sounds like the kind of guy who would tell you that he loves you just to get some.

If ONE girl changes his mind about asking you out, what makes you think one girl won't change his mind about you when/if the two of you were to get serious? (Or however serious you can get at your age .. I don't know how old you are.)

I think the safest thing to do would be to just back off and let him make his own decision. If he picks you, great. If he doesn't, be happy for your friend and get over him.

My good friend is really mad at me I asked her what she thought of one of our guy friends and I thought she said she liked him. But we were in the hallway and I guess I didnt hear right. I told this guy friend because he likes her somewhat. well it turned out that i was wrong and he told her that i told him and she immed me and was cursing me out and stuff. I tired to explain to her that i missunderstood and that i was sorry. She then told me that even if she had i had no right to tell him and that she wont ever tell me anything again. She wont even talk to me. I feel really bad about the whole thing. What shud I do?

Just like with any other argument, you should give her time to cool off. Don't pointedly avoid her because that might offend her even more. Just be careful what you do and say around her.

After she's cooled off a little bit, sit her down somewhere where it's just the two of you and talk. The ONLY way to solve a misunderstanding is to talk it out. Explain yourself and the situation and tell her how sorry you are and that you want to help her.

I do think that you should talk to her about her cutting herself and explain to her how dangerous it is but make it clear to her that you're just worried about her. This will show her that you ARE a good friend.

Eventually, this will all blow over. These things don't last long. People will find something new to talk about.

I've been trying to be a good singer lately. I went for lessons but they did absolutely nothing. I've been singing everyday after school for the past 3-4 years. It's the only time I can because I get embarassed. We had a school musical and when I had to sing to tryout, I choked. But before that, I sang for this girl that wanted to hear me and we both agreed I did good. So bottom line: How can I become a better singer and get over being afraid.

I was just like you. I've taken part in chorus for most of my life but I was never brave enough to take up doing a solo until recently.

What helped me was practicing in front of people as often as I could. It starts out uncomfortably but, once you've gotten used to it, you'll realize that it comes easier.

Start out with singing in front of one or two people, first. And then gradually go up from there and take it a day at a time. Don't rush yourself. Once you get over the initial discomfort and nervousness, it should come easily to you.

Stores that sell iPods should sell iTunes cards. They're just like gift cards. If you want one that has $30 worth of iTunes on it, you pay thirty dollars for it.

That kind of depends on what kind of 'move' you're trying to make.

But you're thirteen so I'm pretty sure I get what you mean.

However, you're way too young to be making any kind of moves. If you want to stay in school and prevent getting young girls pregnant, I suggest you save your moves for high school.

how do i tell a guy i love him?

The easiest, and hardest, thing to do is to just come right out and say it.

I say it's easy because.. well, it is. If you just come right out and say, 'I love you', you cut out a lot of bull and awkwardness. And it doesn't leave room for misinterpretation, which is never good.

It's also hard because it takes a lot of will power and determination to tell someone that you care about them.
