It's better to show him first before telling him that you love him. For example taking care of him in times of difficulty and the lowest points of his life is one sign. Another is being always at his side whenever he needs you. Actions speak louder than voice. He will know it once you do these ways.

well ive tried many ways to tell a guy i love him....the same guy too...ive tried sending him a letter....in school or mail, ive tried IMing him to tell him, ive tried actually going up to him and confronting him about it....but the best way for me was to just explain how i am feeling, not just i love you...that might make things more akward then they are...start out casual...and eventually you will feel more comfortable...and you can tell him how you feel.... once your not as nervous... but if your that nervous it might b helpful to tell him when no ones around to....hope i helped...

The easiest, and hardest, thing to do is to just come right out and say it.
I say it's easy because.. well, it is. If you just come right out and say, 'I love you', you cut out a lot of bull and awkwardness. And it doesn't leave room for misinterpretation, which is never good.
It's also hard because it takes a lot of will power and determination to tell someone that you care about them.

Well, hun, you can just talk to him for a while then finally let it out once you know more about him. Guys usually flip out when you tell them stuff like that, but he'll definetely have major feelings for you!!!
