Question Posted Saturday February 11 2006, 7:36 pm
my skin is pale with a tint of red and i cant stand it. i use cover girl clean makeup creamy natural cover up and it always makes my face look like its pealing can anyone help??
burningXstar answered Sunday February 12 2006, 7:44 pm: Use a moisteriser on your skin first as a base, leave it to sink in (10 mins or so) then use a *bit* of cover up or concealer stick, rub this gently from where you dab it by making smudging motions to work it over your face, then use a compact/powder to finish off.
That's what I do, but make sure you clean your face using cleanser & toner at the end of the day, and moisteriser aswell to finish, as well as before you apply your makeup in the morning =)
Hope this helped!

What you need to do is get yourself a good granulated cleansing facial cream for sensitive/dry skin. Cleanse your face first with a good hydrating facial soap followed by the scrub. Rinse real well and then immediately apply a good hydrating cream afterwards. Do this once a week at first and then work yourself up to 2 or 3 times a week. Every morning after washing your face you need to apply moisturizer before applying the makeup. If you want you is to tone down that redness in your skin simply find the lightest makeup with a slight yellow tinge to it. The yellow will calm down the red appearance. Be sure to blend the makeup well because you don't want to have a makeup line on your face. Once your skin becomes healthy then you want to find a makeup that matches your skin exactly. Good luck to you!

I would also make sure you scrub your face thoroughly every night before bed and to apply a tiny bit of lotion to your face before putting on base. And, when you're putting the makeup on, use as little as possible - that way, there's less excess makeup and less of a chance that your makeup will rub off or cake. The less makeup you use, the more natural it looks. [ FewAndFarBetween's advice column | Ask FewAndFarBetween A Question ]
DarkDesire23 answered Saturday February 11 2006, 7:48 pm: hey,you should get jergins natrual glow for fair skin tones! i have medium tones and it makes my skiin a couple shades darker at the end of the week.Put moisterizer on your face befor you apply the cover up so it wont peal and it is more hydrated. If you dont really like your concealer to much, try clinique (they are sort of pricey, but i love them)here is the webbie-[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
go to make-up,search around,i know they have some self-tinting stuff, and they have foundations :].you can also find clinique at fileans, macys, those type of stores if you have them :].
