why are boys really ridiculous?!

okay so there is this boy and I think I like him .. We were messing around at float one night and he talked to me online but when we're in school he'll just like joke with me but not really talk to me at all .. So what do i say to him to start a conversation??

Boys are ridiculous because it's part of their chemical composition. They can't help it.

Find out what his interests are (over the internet, maybe) and bring them up at school. Talk about what music you like, teachers you hate, what you're doing this weekend .. anything. Maybe the reason he talks to you more online than he does in person is because he's nervous or, like you, doesn't know what to say. Just be friendly. :)
