If you want to wait for her that means you have some idea about you willing to be in a same sex relationship...To me, it's like you've made up your mind and you're just gonna sit there and wait till she makes up her mind. Be careful though, it might be her way to push you back and keep you 'waiting' forever when she goes out with god knows who. This could be her way of saying 'no'...

In my opinion, don't wait for her...This is a race against time, make the most of it. Go out, see new people. If you get hurt, so what, everybody hurts. I think she's just a close friend, a very close friend, who doesn't want to hurt your feelings by saying 'no' straight in your face, that's why she's using this 'method' of saying that she's still confused and not sure. You're lucky to have a friend like her because she cares about how you'll feel if you find out the truth.

Don't worry, it'll get clear soon. I think she'll stop with this 'confused' reaction and tell you the truth. That's when your friendship might be at risk and it's all in your hands, depending on your reaction. Think of how she didn't hurt your feelings, gave you clues here and there...

I have a problem because I really want to be in all the theater things and plays my school and town has to offer, but i'm only a good actress, not singer. I am a HORRIBLE singer. THis is so anniong because literally ALL of the productions in my town are musicals!! When I audition I have to embarass myself by singing, and I don't get a part/get a horrible part. Is there any way to solve this problem. Oh yeah and please don't tell me to take singing lessons cause there is no hope for my voice!

Eat lots of honey! Not only will it make you grow taller, but it will also make your voice nicer!

Oh..and raw eggs if you're up for it. That helps too.

K. I'm Christian living in a muslim country. Trust me, they say they don't drink but...some do!

Muslims consider alcohol as 'haram' or sin. With it comes premarital sex, blaspheming, blah blah.
I don't know much about my own religion but since Jesus drank wine...I guess it makes it alright for us to drink. Even in the church, when there's a wedding, they sip wine from the same cup thing, etc.

But don't believe that all muslims are goody good and don't drink. I went to a bar once and it was FILLED with old muslim grandpas and they were drinking beer like mad. A drunk grandpa even approached me and called me 'sexy'! So yeah...don't believe that they follow the rules all the time.

ok so I'm getting my ears double peirced in a few days, i want to know how bad it hurts. I couldn't tell how bad my first piercing felt because i was only 6 months old! So does it hurt?

Hey,

When I got my 2nd piercing...I didn't feel anything - and I mean it. My sister was looking at me and was like ... "You're done...Didn't you feel it?".

BUT it hurt like - afterwards. I couldn't sleep on my side and hair hot all tangled up around the earring, etc.

Don't be tense. It won't hurt.

how long does it take for pounds to show up? ex: if i ate a lot of chocolate one day, then how long would it take to show up on my body? and if i eat really healthy all the time and have just a couple days of junk, then will i gain weight?

The next morning. Morning is a good time to weigh yourself. Overnight, you'd have digested everything eaten that day and nutrients/fat will be absorbed.

So first thing in the morning: shower, weigh.

Ye...you might gain weight...to answer your last question.

i really want to get my tounge pierced. what is the worst thing that can happen? is it very common? how long does it take to heal? how long will i not be able to talk for?

The worst thing that can happen, besides the infection, is that it can do something to your brain and that will get you into a coma. Like it shoots this pain feeling thing to your brain and next thing you know, you'r unconscious...
The infection thing is common, ye, but the coma thing ... not that common. It depends on the person who does it for you. If he's experienced then follow your gut. If it's his first time ... you know. It's a big no no.

You will be able to talk but it will hurt and you will sound weird...Like "lalala" all the time. It'll go away soon. A month or two I think.

i have to draw. and i suck at drawing. i am not allowed to draw stick figures. i usually jsut draw oval heads like this

Hey hon.

Remember this one thing (before I give the advice): It's either (a) or (b). You pick whichever's true.

(a) EVERYone can draw.
(b) NOBODY can draw.

When it comes to drawing bodies: think of the body as a big sausage structure. For example, look at your hand. Each bit of the finger looks like a sausage. Legs: foot (one sausage), lower part of lef (another sausage), knee (tiny sausage), thigh (one heck of a big sausage),etc.

The head is a sausage itself. Draw a cross anywhere on the face. The upper sections of the cross (left & right) contain the eyes, eyebrows and a bit of the nose. The lower parts complete the nose, cheeks and mouth. Depending on how you place the cross (it doesn't have to be a perfect 90 degree thing, btw...can be a weird X thing too!) you create the features and expressions.

For inspiration, go to www.deviantart.com. Browse in the search box thing "Maria McMorbid". It's this comic thing. Anyway, look at the way it's drawn. Not realistic at ALL but still looks human!

Oh, before I go, one more thing: practice practice practice! I focus more on abstract stuff since I find realism extremely boring...I'm pretty sure that once you get the hang of the sausage theory, you'll be awesome. =)

so recently, like last month, a canker sore formed in a real bad place in my mouth and hurt like hell and lasted for over a week. i had never gotten one before. so now this week, i could feel bumps in the inside of my mouth like inside my lips up against my gums. i checked and now i have TWO MORE! and two more forming. what the heck?? do they always spread like that? and what causes them? can you prevent it? this has never happened to me =[

For a French project, my country is Tahiti.
I have to make a poster board of it and write facts about it and stuff. I really would like one the MOST creative. I'm thinking like making the posterboard a shape of something.. what else could I shape the posterboard as besides a flower that would go with Tahiti?

Also, how should I do the lettering and decorate it? What kind of flowers should I use and any glitter or beads? I just need CREATIVE ideas. I`m basically doing the scene of a beach or someplace tropical. And it must go with Tahiti.

Any ideas on how I could decorate this poster please help! I will NOT copy you, I will be very original about it because I already have some ideas in mind as well.

Well, since I went through projects such as this one in ghischool and now that I've studied everything about art and now design, I'll tell you this: keep it simple. I regret making every piece of 'creative' creation I ever made in highschool.

Glitter is just...wrong when it comes to presenting something. Think of your project as a poster: you want it to attract attention and be pleasing to the eye when read up close. Having all those glitters and all will just confuse the viewer. Also think of composition: how you will place your images, text, etc. Think of a way to combine text with image.

Make sure your thing looks unified. Keep your media limited (like if you use color pencil ... stick to that. Don't play around with papier mache all over it and add 3D stuff...it'll be too much). The collage is a good idea, as well as a mixed media one where you use different ways of painting, drawing, etc. (the papier mache example) but you don't overdo it.

For the lettering, if you're gonna handwrite it, go ahead! Personal is good. But if you're going to have cutout parts of text from the internet along with your writing...then yuck. Pick one: handwriting or typed text. For fonts, I recommend Helvetica. Times New Roman is just disgusting so are Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Courier New and Comic Sans...If you've the font called Futura or Univers, use one of those.

For lettering color, stick to black or white, the simplest ones. Depending on the overall tone of your creation, of course. If it's dark, use white. Too light, use black. Simple.

Personally, I can visualize something abstract. You can try this (very easy): look at photos about Tahiti. Make a list of the colors that you see. Then, mix those colors. For this, just use yellow, blue and red poster paint. From these three colors, you can get anything (send me a message to my inbox about color mixing - i know it all!). When you've mixed it, make sure it's not thick but very opaque. Use your brush to drop heavy paint drops on the board. Take your straw (quickly) and blow onto the wet paint drop. Make sure you 'drive' the paint into different directions. You'll get the sense of flower from that. I'm sure this is familiar to you.

I can go on forever about this...but don't overdo it. Find good quality images (www.deviantart.com - MY FAVE!) and use those. Take your time to work on your craftsmanship.

When you're done with it, stand back and look at it. Can you point out an 'odd one out'? If no, then you're good to go. =). Then place it upside down, at an angle, whatever and ask yourself the same question.

This is really important stuff that designers have to go through every second. I'd love to sit here and talk about more things for hours but I don't want to confuse you...

I'm still going to look into this. I'm a huge fan of Da vinci and I collect everything related to him. I knew about his drawings and stuff and from my books ... I only found stuff about him hanging out in the morgue to study bodyparts and stuff. I guess that could relate to his huge interest in human anatomy.

okay, so i do track, and my first meet was yesterday.
So i was there,and my mom came with my 2 little sisters.
Heres me and my moms convo
me: why did you bring them?

(sister butts in and says, she doesnt want us to be home alone)

I had a friend, last year. We were pretty close. Now it's like this year we've done a lot of fighting. He'll hit me with a horse whip or try to push me out a window, and I'll respond the same way. I've tried ignoring him, though I want us to be friends agein, I;ve tried talking to him, not reacting, being nice, nothing works, could you help me? I really want my friend back. But then sometime he can be so sweet, he's bi-polar and his medication makes him depressed so he dosn't take it, I don't know what I did to him, but I want things to be like they used to be. We go to a boarding school, so I can't get away from him, everywhere I go (But the girls dorm) it seems like he's always there. So I want to know, how can I refill our gap?

im glad that she is still my friend. and i'm trying to get over her but it's hard cause she so close to me, toooo close. it might be in my head but what do you think:

I was siting on the chair, as Victoria came up and sat next to me. Victoria lean her head on my shoulder and with a sigh. she hugs my arm.
when we walk together Victoria embrace my arm and held my hand while leaning her head on my shoulder.

she did this once in a while not all the time, she does it more in front of our friends and when its just us together hanging out she does it sometimes but not alot.

i hate it when she does that and i want to get over her. i just want to push her off but i start to like it and think that she likes me back. It sucks! i hate it! what should i do?

Remind her that she didn't have feelings for you and it's making you confused. Next time she does it, don't push her back, but simply stand up and walk away, face a window or something and look upset - because you are. She'll walk to you and ask what's wrong... I guess then you can tell her.

It might be a good idea that you go away someplace for the summer to clear your mind and stuff...you might meet someone and forget about your friend as 'more than a friend.'

I know it's hard and this isn't the best advice I've given but...my best friend's a bi. She got pissed off when I got a bf. She started acting weird. When I broke up with him, she was the happiest person and got really close to me. I went back to him again and she stopped talking to me.

She still doesn't talk to me.

Maybe find a good time to talk to her. Tell her if she doesn't feel anything towards you, she should stop these acts of hers of hugging you and stuff now that she knows how you feel.
