Ok well there is this girl who told me she loved me but she broke up with me like 2 weeks ago then made out with her other friend that she liked the next day. I was wondering she does love me again and stuff and i love her but i dont kno wut to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm feeling really bad about something. Well about 4 months ago a married man that I had feelings for gave me a computer. We never had an affair but came close. He gave me his old computer because he was moving with his wife to another province and said he just wanted to get rid of it. I excepted it but felt guilty about excepting such an extravagant gift. He knew I didnt have much money and I think he also gave it to me because he felt bad for moving away from me.
Well anyways, I havent told any of my friends or family. I have the computer hidden in the bedroom of my appartment. I put it in the bedroom because my friends never go in it, they usually just hang out in my kithen or living room. They all still think that I've been going to the library to check and send emails. Since he gave me the computer, I got the internet hooked up. I never said anything to my friends or family because I knew I'd be bombarded with questions, and wanting to know why a married man would give me such an extravagant gift.
Should I tell them or just keep it a secret?

That was a very kind gesture of him. Since nothing actually happened you don't have to put any sexual tension on it. You shouldn't feel guilty that he gave you such a nice gift, especially because he probably didn't need it anymore.
I think it is ok to tell your family and friends you have a computer. If you don't want to tell them the truth (which isn't advisable) then you can say that you got it on ebay or at a garage sale or something like that. There is not much explaining involved there. If they ask about the money just say that you've been saving up and didn't want to tell anyone because you didn't want anyone to help you out.
If you want to tell the truth- which I would suggest. Tell them that you have a very generous friend who just moved away and he didn't have use for it anymore. You don't have to give details unless you feel comfortable. Truthfully this new computer should be a sign of relief, so don't feel guilty about it!

Ok don't jump on me but.. do you like to date boys who are fat or have greasy pimple faces or who know how to turn on a computer than turn on a girl? Yeah.. I didn't really think so.
Another important question to ask is why are girls suck jerks toward fat girls also?
This is a situation that is not a fault of boys or girls alone but society in general. I'm not going to get into a rant about this but I'm just going say that right now it sucks hard but as you and those boys get older you'll all start to notice what's on the inside of people and not just what's on the outside. I am 20 years old and have never been the toothpick or the fat girl... but I still got picked on. There will always be assholes and there will always be truly kind people- it's part of life and you just have to learn who to surround yourself with. What exactly is it about the "cool" guys that makes them so cool and why are you so attracted to them. Is it their abs, their guitar, or their infectious vibrant personality? If it is the latter then you are a lot more mature than most people your age(or mine). All I can assure you is that I promise people eventually grow up.. and if they don't, you'll realize you don't need to be wasting your time around them.

Ew isn't it just so creepy when someone who you don't know that well is like "I love you"!?!? I had a boyfriend that used to do that before we'd even been dating a month. ::shudders::
If you still like him- ask him to hang out and tell him to take it slow because love is a big emotion.
If you don't like him anymore- tell him you want to hang out but you just want to be friends. If he persists just tell him you're not into him like that.
For just acting about him in general just be casual and don't let him know you're uncomfortable. I don't know how old you are but emotions come and go fast- you shouldn't have much to worry about soon enough.

My Ex boyfriend and I are pretty good friends, and I like being friends with him except it really walks on my last nerve when he flirts with my friend Abby. I don't like him that way; thats not even the point. It's that everytime I look at them their always flirting and poking each other and when he's around me it makes me feel like he uses me to get to her. Because he won't talk to me until he is away from her. That really pisses me off. You can't talk to him, or her because they won't listin. She's nutty and he's a crack. So how can I deal with this? The best way to deal with it is to get over it. It's not really your territory anymore since you broke up, so you can't control who he's intersted in and who he's not. That goes for your friend Abby as well. When it comes down to it, it's their decision. I'm sure they aren't flirting to get to you. And I highly doubt he's using you. How would going though an ex to get to her best friend help him? If anything it would hurt him because she knows about his previous relationship with you, and knowing someones mistakes can often make them undesirable.

It holds about 100 songs. My brother has one that he uses for on the subway and walking to work. It has it's advantages and disadvantages. Disadvantages are that it only holds 100 songs and you cannot choose which song you want to listen to next. Advantages are you can always add and remove songs from your shuffle on your itunes and you can set a certain order you want the music in instead of the shuffle choosing for you. It really just depends on what you want from it. If you're looking for something that holds TONS of music that you don't have to update often then it is clearly not for you. But if you think it will be convenient to keep your favorite 100 or so songs on you at all times then go for it.

You can't go wrong with a Volvo or a Saab- they are excellent cars with excellent safety ratings and they are mighty cool as well.

Look at Ford Focus or like Malibus. Pretty much any American made car is less expensive and usually has decent mileage.

This year, I'm taking the SAT. I've taken the PSAT and didnt do as well as I thought I could. How can I prepare for it, because I am very busy with sports, clubs, AND AP classes!! Also, what topics are there? Like what do I need to know for the math, reading, and writing parts?

Try taking a Kaplan course for the SAT. go to www.collegeboard.com for more information. My SAT score went up like 200 points(I took the SAT prior to the new writing adition when the SAT was only worth 1600 points).

aah! so here is the deal!! i once read in a magazine about a girl who got sexually harassed by her teacher. and im like oh i feel so bad for that girl, but i never thought about it happening to me. well i hate to admit it.. but it did. this is what happened: i needed extra help in math so i told my teacher about it (lets call him mr. a) and hes like oh why dont you stay after class today i have no meetings and i was king of hesistating cause thursdays are busy for me. but he was like insisting and it was kind of awkward and i felt uncomfortable rejecting it so i did stay after school. when he told me to sit down next to him at a table, i did. and by the way the chairs were a little to close. the whole time he was helping me he always tryed to get good excuses to get close to me. not actually saying stuff, but like syaing "ok lets go over the steps .. *nudge close, nudge closer* then after we started talking and he asked me what my favorite classes werwe and i told him, and hes like "what do you think about the sex unit in health" and in my head im like "WHAT??"so i said awkwardly.. "um yes its good." so out of the blue.. hes like "ever wanted to have sex" and i said "i dontknow.." hes like "want to try it with me" i got creeped out at that i felt like crying.WHAT SHOULD I DO?? PLEASE HELP. i'm so confused, im afraid of going to school or even walking in the halls cause i might bump into hiM!!!! (link)

If this is really true you need to tell your parents or a trusted adult or the school counselor. Know your facts though because these are VERY serious allegations. I'm not trying to make a liar out of you by any means but I just want you to know, if your story changes or you are being untruthful.. this is a situation where jobs can be lost and lives can be ruined. First of all, everyone has sinuses, it is part of the human body. What you have is a sinus problem, maybe even infection.
Have you been tested for allergies to mold spores, dust, pollen, etc? You could possibly have an allergy to one of those which could be causing your problem. This can be treated with over the counter medicine like Claratin. If this is a long-standing problem, I suggest going to your doctor because you might have a bad infection which can only be treated by perscription medication. If it doesn't get better within a couple of days, make an appointment!

okay i want to straighten my hair tomorrow & i was wondering if anyone had any tips??
-i have to do it in the morning after my shower
-i have to blow dry my hair (i dont have a straightener you can use when your hairs wet)
-i have pretty much time about 15-20 mins
-my straightners pretty good. its the revlon thin ceramic straighteners

Don't ever straighten wet hair unless you want it to break off or get split ends. sizzle sizzle
I have very curly hair and I straighten my hair almost daily. I wash my hair the night before and let it airdry for like an hour(I brush through my curls when it's wet and use frizz ease product in my hair). After, it's mostly air dryed I blow out the rest of it (try not to blow dry too much because it makes your hair really dry, frizzy, and heat is bad for your hair in big amounts)because it is soo bad to sleep on wet hair and even worse to sleep on wet hair that is pulled up. If you want to sleep with your hair up use a ribbon not an elastic!!
In the morning your hair should be totally dry- always use a plastic comb of sorts and not a brush. Straighten it in 3-4 sections.

My younger sister moved back into my mother and stepdads house to housesit while they are away on a trip. They will living in Arizona for 6 months and come back in the summer.
My sister is in dept up to her ears in credit card and student loan payment. She is still in college, and doesnt have a job right now. My father is giving her some money every month only until she finishes school, but it's only a couple hundred dollars.
Well I just found out that my mother is charging my sister rent!! I thought it was unfair because she is doing them a favour by housesitting. Also they know she's short on money because she
s still a student. I could understand if she were living with them but she's not. She told me that all the money that our dad gives her goes to pay the rent, and everything else she has to put on her credit card. They are charging her 400.

Maybe they are trying to teach her a lesson in responsibility. She should cut up her credit cards and get a job. Whatever you do.. don't start lending her money- you'll never see it again.

If you feel it you might have put it in crooked. Make sure to use one with an applicator it is easier to get it in straight. It gets easier but the first few times it's like WTF MATE!

First of all, stop going tanning. Obviously you got a sunburn and sunburns are bad. If you tan too much you will get wrinkles and then maybe even cancer. Uncool. Natural is beautiful, orange is not.
Stepping off my soap box... use aloe vera, it will work wonders, and keep yourself moisturized.

When there's any sort of social gathering involving alcohol, my fiance always gets drunk. Not completely drunk, just a little drunk. It used to not bother me at all. But lately, it's blown up into a huge deal.
It stems from the fact that my mother was an alcoholic when I was a child. Also, when my fiance and I were split up for a month, he went through a depression and would drink every day and smoke a pack of cigarettes every day, and almost got kicked out of college.
So now when I see him drinking at all, it angers me to the point I want to explode immediately. Since he has informed me that he will still drink no matter what, we've decided upon a compromise; he can drink on special occasions, but not get drunk, even a little bit. BUT, even that angers me!
When he started smoking, I did everything I could to stop him, but I failed. He is finally quitting now, but I'm afraid that alcohol will one day be the same way, especially if we hit a rough patch in our lives. He makes excuses for drinking, such as saying it's the only way he can be himself in a crowd, and that scares me!! But on the other hand, I don't want to be completely irrational and fight about this all the time.

No matter how much you talk to him and tell him how you feel he's really just not going to listen until he's ready. I hate to say it but if it's "the only way he can be himself in a crowd" then his mother is not the only alcoholic in his family. Does he know that alcoholism can be genetic? Is this something you want to live with the rest of your life and perhaps pass onto your children? If I were in this situation I would either be proactive and get him to AA or I would move on. :-/
Just remember you can't control him and until he's ready to admit he has a problem he's not going to help himself.

I have plenty of friends who have deferred enrollment for a year to study abroad or work or just travel. You need to get it cleared through the dean or admissions but most schools will allow you with proper documentation.
