hi,
i recently figured out that my papa(uncle) has cancer and i am extremely close to him i live with him, and he was supposed to be fine until he had surgey and they found cancer in his liver stomach esophagus. and i just can't seem to get over it and i feel HORRIBLE i havent gone to school in 2 weeks(my parents dont know) and i act like im leaving for school they go to work and i just go back inside. Not going to school isn't helping anything... you need to tell your parents what you've been up to so you can get caught up on your hw and stuff...just tell you uncle how much you love him and keep a picture of him with you at school if anything happens while your at school have your parents sign you out.

im a cutter. i have scars all up and down my arm. only 2 people know about it. but every time i see my boyfriend i have to cover it up, and make sum sort of excuse. i HATE lying to him! i feel like i should tell him, but i dont want him to think im crazy and dump me! but like.. i cant stop cutting. its always been my way of calming myself down... Hey... I am 14 too... I think you should invite your friend to the mall and sit down in the food court and tell her that you want to still be her friend because she is your best friend but you dont want her to think that you are lesbian or bi either and you dont want her to hit on you...if she does you could probably talk to her about it again...and if she does it a second time try to stop hanging out with her slowly...and hang out with her in public places when you do hang out and if you are comoratable with it you could have her stay the night but i dont suggest it.

Ok I think I can help with this one. I start school tomorrow and I will be a FrEsHmAn (9th grade) and this is the first time that i will be aloud to wear make up. My mom nor my dad liked the idea when i was younger... i tryed the whole wear it without them knowing thing but when they pick you up from school they see you wearing it even if you tryed to take it off in the school bathroom after your last period class. If you really want to wear makeup talk to your mom about it and see if you can just wear a little bit of eye liner and some lip gloss.

Ok...it is time to ditch fred...if you dont want to go all the way and he is trying to pressure you then he probably isnt right for you. If you do wind up dating him and he pressures you to do something you dont want to do you will regret it.

i have a friend from school who is petite and very underweight (by society's standards) but she sees herself as "fat" & no matter what anyone tells her she still tries to loose weight. shes only 80 something pounds! shes one of the skinniest people in school, and we're 15... and im scared it might become into an eating disorder. her parents want her to GAIN weight because she's so tiny for her size and can get hurt in sports. what can i possibly do or say to her because i've tried so many times...? (ps her parents are concerned and know about this, and they told ME to talk to her about it because she wont listen to them!) (link)

Ok...talking to your friend about this WILL be hard. My friend had an eating disorder and i talked to her about it and now she is better she got help...professional help. Your friend my need the same...talk to her about and see what's up. If you notice her not eating or eating alot and going to the bathroom right after she eats...she could have two different types of eating disorders 1.anorexia, or 2.bulemia. If she has either of these she WILL MOST LIKELY NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP. _-_-_Amanda-_-_-

Ok...you just have to ask her straight up face to face and be confident about it...she might freak out about it and leave or end the relationship and probably after she does that she will realize she still loves you and wants to be with you...maybe she wont want to get married but she might want to stay together. _-_-_Amanda-_-_-

Bipolar is where you are happy one moment depressed the next then sad then happy then in tears. It can be treated with prescription medicine. Next question....no that is not bipolar he is probably just a jerk.

Try talkin to a friend about it and see if maybe she will help you talk to your mom or she can talk to her for you...make sure you really trust this friend.

I`m 15 in about a month or so and I think i`m an alchoulic. I want to quit at times, but then again i dont. I didn`t come on here to get lectured, just advice on what to do in this situation. Thanks.

I think you should consider talking to an adult maybe a close family friend or even your mom or dad or maybe even a friends mom or dad....maybe a youth group leader at church just talk to someone if you have an Alcoholics Anonymous in your town call there and ask for there advice.

I've had a huge crush on this guy for almost a year now. He know's I like him, but he tries to ignore it like most guys do. He's in with the "popular" croud, but he's still acts really sweet and out-going and doesn't care what other people think. He waves at me a lot, he stares at me a lot, he plays with my hair and asks me to do stuff with him (in school, i.e. be his partner), and he also talks with me a lot more then other people. And just little stuff like that.
I know that a lot of people say "If you like someone, you automatically think they like you back", but I really think he likes me. But that's just me, and my friends think it's stupid to talk about, so does anyone have any adivce? Does he like me? o_O;

This is a tough one... he is sending some signals but maybe he just wants to be friends or friends with benefits....take it slow and play it through and see how he continues to act towards you...if he keeps up the signals talk to one of his close friends and see what they think...or have one of your friends talk to him or one of his friends.

Ok, my school has a dress code, not exactly a uniform. We have to wear knee length skirts of solid color (no specific color) so they can be pleated, have bows, etc...We also have to wear polo shirts, sweaters, stuff like that...what are some ways to spice up my school uniform to make it cute and in style?? Get a knee length Blue Jean skirt and buy some material and scisors and get some one who knows how to sew.(you will also need sewing materials) Cut holes in your skirt and then put the material as a patch behind it....then get a plain white shirt and cut out a heart shape and then put the same kind of material behind that.
