1. mascaras and liquid eyeliner expieres when you notice it is crumbly and sort of hard, eye pencil and shadows no not, liquid makeup usually has an expieration date on it so does power makeu.

2. i don't use facial coverup but i think the best is anything but liquid because yes, liquid is bad for your skin no matter if it says: oil free, wrinkle free, wont clog pores, because it does. If you want a powder makeup the BEST is by Bare Escentuals and if you do not have a store near you they also sell it at sephora. Compacts and liquids are all really the same everywhere.

i'm getting an I-Pod, and i was wondering if the songs i have on limewire (version 4.12) can be transferred to I-Tunes automatically, or if i have to re-download all the songs i'd like to transfer onto my i-pod?

if the songs you have downloaded off limewire are also in a file or folder somewhere on your computer (you should locate the file; you can locate where you music goes by going to the start- search- file folders- music/picture- type in some band which you know you have downloaded- right click the icon when it comes up- click propertise and highlight the location: area) then when you download itunes and they ask from where would you like them to collect the music from put in the location.

my dad wants to re-do my room, and i have the colors maroon or teal in mind. (not together)
but what color carpets go good w/ each of those colors? pictures of other cute colors together might be convincing as well!

well for both colors i think a natural tone color would be best maybe an off white or cream. however, i think that for the marron it would be best to have a hard wood floor and a really pretty sort of pastel color rug which is multi color. because maroon is a semi dark color when it is night time it will look very dark and a nice pretty multi color pastel carpet will make it more happy. try going to pbteen.com because they always have nice collections.

Hey guys. I'm getting a new phone this week, and the phone I currently have has no sim card. It's only 2 years old, though. But, it has no place for a sim card, and it doesn't have one.

Haha, so my question is once I get a new phone with the same service (sprint) will my phone number be the same? I'm just wondering if it'll transfer over to my new phone. Thank you SO much. :)

I had sprint then I got cingular when my contract ran up.

I switched my phones hundreds of times and they transfer them all easily- and your photos if you have any. I don't think it costs money if you have the insurance for the phone.

so, i'm kind of a nerd. I'm not a loser, i have friends and everything. It's just that i make school and working hard my top priority. I'm just naturally a fast thinker so it feels like i'm the only person who ever talks in class. So I have a couple problems

1. how can I continue to participate in class without people thinking i'm a know it all

2. What should i do when my friends are like "we can't study with you because you know all the answers!" or "It's not fair, you're so much smarter than me" when they say this is really bugs me cuz i am only smart because i work hard, so it IS fair!

I think that being smart and a fast thinker isn't something which you should stop being. If you are gifted people should respect you for it not alienate themselves from you because of it.

in class, when a teacher is asking a question and a lot of other peoples hands are up putting yours up unless the question is directed to you wont show that you are smarter than others. However, when there is that really tough test that everyone gets B's and below on but you don't brag about it or tell anyone who doesn't asked because I could see how that could get a little 'know it all'. And for your second question, it's best to not study with dumb people if they are dumb because then you are more like teaching them then you guys are helping eachother get better. Try and form a study group which has people who are up to your abilities.

My friend who I've known for like 10 years of my life we were talking about sex and stuff and she said shes scared to have sex because her vagina smells.

My mom and brother are really sick. They have been puking all night and barely can move. I've been around them a lot and getting them stuff, but I am worried I will get sick too since apparently it's contagious. My dad just had surgery so I am not going to leave the house and make him take care of them. I just was wondering if there is anything I can do to prevent myself from getting sick as well..besides staying away from them? Thank you =]

First off, it can be just food poisoning if they both got it at the same time. Try and track back where you guys ate before they got sick, did they both have the same meal? Then it's most likley that. Or it could be a bug, if you don't have any simptoms or feel like you do take a medicine called Airborn, they sell it everywhere. Put it in a small cup with water- let it dissolve and drink it. It's tastes good and works. It's not a sure thing that you will not get sick but close. Also try not to touch them too much nor eat from their plate.

if you are really serious about the modeling jigg then get an agent. someone who knows people who knows peoples who can hook you up with a cheep photoshoot to start a portfolio and send it to different companies who are looking for models. you can't get a good gig without experience so don't quit when the going gets tough.

depends on how bad your acne is. if it's just zits a combo of anything by neutrogena and the clearasil acne pads work really good together. if you want something topical then the on the spot cream (what i use if i do have like a zit) works great but you need to use it everyday until it goes away.

if you do have acne go to a dermatalogist and they will proscribe something for you type of skin and degree of acne.

Sorry if this gets long... well for about 6 months now I've liked this guy, let's call him Joe. I had this party and he came, and my best friend (who knew I liked him) decided she did too. yes, deffinetly tell her. there is no claim on a guy whether one person saw him first or last. in a way, you two are against eachother in this situation not with eachother so if you likes you and you like him there should be nothing holding you back from asking him out.

now, if you two are really good friends and you think this can jeopardize your friendship then maybe reconsidering your 'rules' will help. tell her that because you really like him; you want her to know that if you ask him out she shouldn't be mad and don't want to stop being friends what so ever.

I'm kind of confused about the whole eyebrow plucking thing. I've been plucking my eyebros for several years, in an arch shape.

The advice I've read about this is that you always pluck the bottom of the eyebrow and never the top...but I have lots of random hairs at the top of my eyebrows and they always look messy because of this.

So is the advice about not plucking from the top correct and if so, why should you not pluck from the top?

You are deffinetley aloud to pluck the upper one, there is no reason not to. What happens if you don't is when you only pluck the bottom one it makes it seem to high up on your forehead because they are not evened up.

Personally, I wax my eyebrows- by professionals of course. It's a lot quicker and looks better on me.

ok for some reason i have this problem, i eat and eat and eat and i like never stop! I can't control it and i don't know why. and the weird thing is, i never gain a pound because i have a REALLY fast metabolism. I'm 13 years old, 5'4, and i only weigh 94 pounds. When im bored and not doing anything (wich i am never doing ANYTHING most of the time) i will just stuff my face with food. ive tried to stop, but i just cant. someone please help!

One thing could be simple- you have an emotional bond with food. When your hungy you eat, nervous you eat, bored you eat, happy you eat, ect. If you have had an extremely fast metabolism your entire life then it's not a health issue; when your body burns off food really fast it needs to have more. if you eat foods with lots of perservatives in them they are not as filling and you tend to crave them more and eat more of them.

(if this is not the issue maybe seeing a doctor could help. it can be a worm, parasite, or diseas which is not very likley. some people are just lucky and don't gain weight.)

eating smaller meals [not snacks] throughout the day (5 times) will help you be satisfied, not full. see when you get too full you just shit most of it out or you sit down until the feeling surpass' and then you get hunrgy again. teaching your body to feel satisfied really helps curb the hunger crave.

The dotor is probably right because you have had your period for three years but there is always the possibility of still growing; If you have been 5'3" for quite a while now then there is not.

Height is something which you an manipulate by wearing heels or standing taller (if you want to). The average is 5'5" in women but I don't believe that height makes the woman. If you are insecure about your height and slouch, cross your arms, ect. then you will seem shorter than you are. You have to be comfurtable with the person you are whether you are 5'3" or 6'3".

I don't think 5'3" is too short because when you are in your 20's+ all you will wear will be heals and girls who are 5'8" and wear 5 inch heels I think look like giants. So in the long run you'll be fine!

-- Best deoderant: I use Ban and think that Ban Deoderant works the best and it has nice scents which aren't overwhelming.

-- Best Toothpaste: No toothpaste can make your teeth plaque free unless you brush after every meal. With whitening toothpastes, results are not all typical and if you do get results it isn't after just a few days but a fews weeks and months. I think Crest products work the best so finding one which will specialize in plaque and whitening will be easy. I know they'll work but if you do run out just make sure to buy the same brand and type.

-- Good Makeup Colors: There is a really good brand called Bare Essencials and they make the best powders, blushes, foundations, ect. If you don't have a store near you then MAC makes the second best facial makeup just go to a counter or store and have them match your shade. A bronze pink will make for the best blush, for eye shadows anything works well but if you want something to wear daily i would stay away from crayola colors... a really pretty and effective look is shadowing your crease in a darker shade of like a brown.


-- BEST push up bra possible: The best push up I used would not work for you because I am a C. A tip for looking for a good push up-- The closer the cups are together the more lift and push up effect you will have. A balconet bra is always really good and so are those 'embrace' bras at victorias secret.

I have two tattoos and in a place where you skin is thinner or where you have more fat in a sertain place it hurts more. On your lower back your skin is thick and usually has more fat under it (not so say that you're fat) so it is more sensitive. It also depends on how well you are with pain. I am exteremely good with pain but it is still just that, pain. It feels like a burning sensasion when it happens but don't worry- no harm is being done like a burn. The pain can last to an hour after the tattoo if your really sensitive. But the pain is not that much itself. Just remember- you do get old and your skin does sag so when you get older it won't look the same.

i've been running 3 miles a day for about 3 months now. but now that its over ive gone down to 1 mile a day, to give my body a rest. so now i have all this energy, but my face has always remained...chubby? and i dont find it attractive, also i'm 50 german 50 italian, so it deffinitely cannot be genetics. It might just be because you have a more large facial structure. Some people have naturally big, puffy cheeks and theres nothing they can do about it. If you put a soft semi-light skin color/pink blush on her cheeck bones ever so lightly it will define your face more.
