Christmas Present.

Question Posted Saturday November 25 2006, 5:07 pm

I would love to get something very nice for my best girl friend (I'm a guy). But I don't know what to get. To be honest, I've recently started liking her, so I kind of want the present to show that a little. Any ideas? Thanks!

Listen to what she says around Christmas time, or even ask her "So, what are some things you're wanting for Christmas?" Pay attention to some things like favorite candy, movie, music, color. A cute stuffed animal is a classic. You could wrap a ribbon around its neck and attach a poem you wrote yourself. (Try to be a little more creative then 'Roses are red ..' )

You could go for a picture frame with a picture of the two of you. If you guys don't have many pictures, you could go with jewlrey. (Not a diamond necklace, just a cute heart pendant *or ring etc* from the cheaper section of JCPenny's, Kohls or other stores of that sort.

You could bake her cookies, that would be cute.

If you would like to express that you like her more, give her a card and in it write that she is presented with a trip to the movies and dinner paid for by you and she may pick the night and movie.

You could go for a scavenger hunt type of thing (I personally would LOVE this) Leave about 5 clues around her house/school/car *depending on age* leading to the next clue.
Try to keep the clues about her as well so she'll catch on that its from an admirer, such as if you were trying to lead her to a garden your clue could be "Gives off a scent as sweet as you; in the garden you'll find your next clue." And for the finale you could stand in the garden holding flowers for her, kiss her if you wish, and tell her how you feel.

Good Luck <3

OHHH!! You should make her something!! She'd love that!!You could make her a picture frame and put a picture of you (or you and her in it) because that way, she will look at it alot and see how great you are. Also, it could be kind of funny, and she might laugh.
Or you can make her an ornament, Like for her Christmas tree. If you search google, then you will definatly find something like that.
Or assuming that you know a lot about her, you could make her a collage for her door, or wall of her fave bands, actors, movies, pictures, poems, (if shes artsy) and sports teams (If shes sporty) etc. (Good thing you're looking now, that may take time)
Or you can go a totally different way and buy something but make it personal. Like Engrave a picture frame, or a watch( or other jewlery, depending on price range,) Or you can just buy her jewelery, Girls love jewelery. It doesnt matter what it is, if its cute we'll wear it. However, then to make it personal, you should make her a card. When I make my friends cards, I write our insiders all over it. I draw random pictures and glue things all over it. That way it wont just be something that says:" To:____ Merry Christmas From:______." It will be real personal and she'll keep it.
No matter what you get/make her, if it's from the heart, she will love it. Bur some gifts may make her love you, and I can tell thats why you care. So when you are choosing your gift, picture her face when she opens it, and no matter what it is, if you can see her smile, she'll love it. good luck, hope I gave you an idea. Happy Holidays! as a girl, i think that getting her something that shows you know her and listen is great. like a cd of her favorite band, book by fav. author, her favorite perfume (or one that you would like on her) for example. if you have the money, jewelery is always nice, especially necklaces.

hope i helped :D

Hint the question about Christmas Presents to her (not in the what do you want for christmas way) if you are best friends shell probably spill what she wants. If you hear something in your price range then I say, get it!
