as a girl, i think that getting her something that shows you know her and listen is great. like a cd of her favorite band, book by fav. author, her favorite perfume (or one that you would like on her) for example. if you have the money, jewelery is always nice, especially necklaces.

In my 'Planning 10' class at school we have to do an assignment about vision setting. We are supposed to write about how we see ourself in ten years (personal, education and career).
The problem is that we need our parents to make constructive critism about our plans. I do not want to share my personal, educational or career plans with my family.. or teacher for that matter. I have a really big problem with it.
I have thought of letting a friend write for my parents (so I wouldn't have to show them) or to lie about it all. I know who I am and who I want to be and it is perfectly normal, however I do not like to share this information. My planning teacher says if I have such a problem with it that I can fail.
What can I do?
And yes, I realize many of you will say just write about it and don't be afraid but to be honest, it's not anyones business except for mine and I am willing to lie (not fail however) to keep it that way.

i am not familiar with the class, but it seems like you could just make something up to write as where you see yourself and noone would know. just write something that is realistic and people would believe that you might write. i cant help you that much without knowing more about the assignment, though. i hope this helps, and i think it would work based on what you said.

ok im worried... im on the pill and i was supposed to get my period last week but it never came.. ive been under a great deal of stress lately and took a preg. test which said i was not pregnant. so why didnt i get my period? am i just really paraniod? i never miss the pill & i take it every night at the same time.. but the pill is only 99.7% affective when taken exactly right and 92% affective as taken by most woman. so that means that 3 to 80 out of 100 women on the pill will get pregnant still. you could be one of them

what are the signs of pregnancy? can u still be pregnant if you had your period but have all the symptoms of it except throwing up? (link)

to add to your previous answer, you can be pregnant even if you have had or were on your period when you had sex, but if you have your period after, your not pregnant because the uterus will keep the tissue that comes out during pregnancy inside of you for the fertilized egg.

one of my best friends and my sister are in the marching band. so far i've been to almost all the competitions and football games to support them, well this weekend i wont be able to go so i was think i'd get a basket as a good-luck gift for them... besides writing them a note saying good-luck and everything, what can i give them? they aren't allowed to eat/drink anything besides water in their uniforms... as a joke you could always give them energizer bunny baterieds or you could give them a keepsake goodluck charm they could take with them. also put some goodies to enjoy if they win or loose

Okay well, this is just curiousity but.. condoms are only like 95-97% effective if they don't leak and are used properly.. but if they dont leak or anything like that how would you get pregnant if all the cum stays inside of the condom. like how is that other 3 or 5 percent a possibility

first its a 99% and the other 1% is if it does have a hole or tear it will leak and you could get pregnant. the 1% is the possibility of that happening

first of all, know ahead that its better to be not liked for who you are than loved for who your not. you could wait till they are talking and steal him away, flirt with him so he wont notice her, or just enjoy yourself and not worry about it

weight doesnt make you fat. muscle weighs more than fat anyways. dont stress over the small things like weight, and loosing weight not just from exercise at this age could be very unhealthy. if you are chubby which i dont know, almost everyone in junior high will look different when they are grown. also, wow this is long, when you grow taller you will be even more attractive than now

whenever you want to do it think of the risks and who youd be hurting if you died from it. when you think about it, its pretty selfish. you cant qiut unless you motivate yourself. find something important to you that weed and vodke would affect. maybe someone you like who doesnt like those things to motivate you. if you are religous, pray for the strength to stop. much love, melissa
