my dad wants to re-do my room, and i have the colors maroon or teal in mind. (not together)
but what color carpets go good w/ each of those colors? pictures of other cute colors together might be convincing as well!
theatrechick6 answered Sunday December 24 2006, 1:31 pm: So far these answers are good, you could also do teal with a harwood floor, with a nice teal shaggy area rug, you can get those anywhere pretty much. Then put teal and white accessories around the room. [ theatrechick6's advice column | Ask theatrechick6 A Question ]
Shortcake22 answered Monday November 27 2006, 10:50 pm: Light grey looks really good with both of these. Light pink would go really well with maroon as well.
***You said "any input would be helpful". I thought the person right before me did a good job answering, I just figured I'd add a little bit, since she didn't say those colors. And I get a 2? I don't understand. [ Shortcake22's advice column | Ask Shortcake22 A Question ]
rachyx0 answered Monday November 27 2006, 9:45 pm: well i love the color teal, and if you got that color i would recommend a beige carpet, because white would get to dirty. maroon could go with beige too. so yeah both of those would look good with beige or you could pick like a light pink to go with the teal, and maybe a tan or light brown to go with the maroon. hope this helps =D [ rachyx0's advice column | Ask rachyx0 A Question ]
ImFakingHotPink answered Monday November 27 2006, 7:47 pm: well for both colors i think a natural tone color would be best maybe an off white or cream. however, i think that for the marron it would be best to have a hard wood floor and a really pretty sort of pastel color rug which is multi color. because maroon is a semi dark color when it is night time it will look very dark and a nice pretty multi color pastel carpet will make it more happy. try going to pbteen.com because they always have nice collections.
