ok,so im cutting my hair about 2 1/2 inchs cause it is COMPLEATLY dead, but im wondering,i might get a little bit of layers, what do i tell the person if i only want a little bit of layers? i know i cant just say that, they'll get confused,i want some just for movement in my hair maybe a little more for style. also, once i get my hair cut, i want to get a new straightener, which ones dont burn your hair as much? (i heard there are some that hydrate your hair with steam- any brands that you know of?) alsooo,if there is no straightener like that what are some really good brands of heat protectant spray? thanks! Say long Layers, that gives it a nice gradual edge without cuttinmg to much off Also for straigtening, i just asked my hair person they said no iron completley protects it, but try Bed Head Head Rush( from Tigi) spray when its wet before blow dry snd dry before ironing, just spray it lightly, or it might get sticky. It gives it shine and protects it from burning. If you need to restore your hair use Redken or Bed Head All soft shampoo/conditioner its amazing for dry hair.

I also have that kind of carpet. What i would do, is have a full sized bed, with blues, purples, and greens, then white furniture with organizing sections. For a small room like mine, i have a full bed, with a loft bed over it to use as a couch. Some good places are linens and things, bed, bath and beyond and ikea. Have a down comforter, they are like air and so warm, you can get them in white, and then buy different covers to go over it, so you can change it when you want. Also at the container store there is cd/dvd wall paper and door paper. You hang it up on the door or walls, and you can put dvds or cds into them(like a bunch of disc sleeves. They come in purple blue and clear, and maybe even gray. Then you can take smaple paint jars from like Lowes($3.99) in diff. colors and paint designs on the door and around your room. A good wall color is green(light lime color), or a deep purple color. Whatever wall color you choose make sure you bring it into the room, with pillows, or lamps, curtains, sheets, anything.

Yes!! These answers are great. Having different sections works really well. Also maybe a light sketcing table(IKEA) and a manican, so you can dress it.

my dad wants to re-do my room, and i have the colors maroon or teal in mind. (not together)
but what color carpets go good w/ each of those colors? pictures of other cute colors together might be convincing as well!
any input would be helpful! (link)

So far these answers are good, you could also do teal with a harwood floor, with a nice teal shaggy area rug, you can get those anywhere pretty much. Then put teal and white accessories around the room.
