my room.
i really want to redecorate my room. problem--not everything i like matches. about 2 or 3 years ago i got a new carpet so i can't replace it. it's like a periwinkle color lol. colors i like- purple, hot pink, lime green, turquoise.. i'll accept some blues i guess :] does anyone have any suggestions on what would look good with a periwinkle colored carpet?? and have any comforters i might be interested in or websites? (already looked at pbteen..) 14/f. i like floral patterns, stripes, etc. not really into polka dots or solids. thanks!!

I also have that kind of carpet. What i would do, is have a full sized bed, with blues, purples, and greens,then white furniture with organizing sections. For a small room like mine, i have a full bed,with a loft bed over it to use as a couch.Some good places are linens and things, bed, bath and beyond and ikea. Have a down comforter, they are like air and so warm, you can get them in white, and then buy different covers to go over it, so you can change it when you want. Also at the container store there is cd/dvd wall paper and door paper. You hang it up on the door or walls, and you can put dvds or cds into them(like a bunch of disc sleeves. They come in purple blue and clear, and maybe even gray. Then you can take smaple paint jars from like Lowes($3.99) in diff. colors and paint designs on the door and around your room. A good wall color is green(light lime color), or a deep purple color. Whatever wall color you choose make sure you bring it into the room, with pillows, or lamps,curtains, sheets, anything.

well, you say your fave colours are purple hot pink, lime and turquoise?why not use only 2 of those colours? like alternate and use random splashes of color everywhere! a dash of pink here and there, and some other colours mix in. you can be very artistic with this :] peace, countrygirl.

Hey. Well you could do your room in a tropicl theme. The periwinkle color kinda remineds me of something tropical. Also, since you like floral patterns, you could get a tropical flower kinda bedspread. Also, turquoise is deffinitaly a tropical color. My friend did her room in a tropical theme and got some really cute stuff. some webstites you could go to are: orientaltrading.com, domestications.com (and type in tropical on domestication)and jcpenny.com, places like those. If your not into tropical then since you like stripes, do a stripes kinda theme. You could have cute stiped throw pillows and a striped bedspread. I hope I helped some! Good luck with your room!
