Someone help me please! I want to sleep and never wake up. I just talked to my friend about it a few minutes ago. He's the reason that I feel this way. But he said lets move on. He says he'll always be here for me. Please someone help me, I don't want to be depressed anymore!

We all go through that stage you're in now and I can tell you from experience, it isn't a happy one! You've got to hang in there and say to yourself that you're strong (even if you aren't) and DON'T think about how you feel, go do something, make something, go for a walk, take your pet for a walk or something to keep yourself occupied!

My past relationship hurt me so bad, that all I want to do know is be cool with everyone. The only thing is a lot of boys want to go with me and I want to talk to them but everytime I think about the hurt that this last boy caused me that I don't want to go through it again. okay I like this guy and we weren’t really in a relationship but we both liked it each other and we told each other we had feelings for each other and we hung out and everyone thought that he liked me and I thought so too since he even told me and my best friend he also had a cute nickname for me L and then we just stopped talking he hasn’t said anything about me to he’s friends and I know this but I still like him and there’s so many feelings I have for him is that normal that I care that much for him and we were never even together and what should I do? be completely honest!!

I'm not bothered about the rating but I guess it is normal, you're a nice person as far as I can tell and you must care a lot and have a lot of love to give. I think it's sweet. Perhaps you could talk to him again or text him saying "hey, haven't spoken to you in ages, how've you been?" or something along those lines.

i like this guy called tom and he looks at me a lot during class and stuff but he's only in my science and maths. even amy (the girl i sit next to)notices that he stares at me. what do you think it means? i look over and smile but i'm wayyyyyy too shy to keep it there!

hey ok so i like to run a lot but since its getting colder, i can't run everyday like i like to do. i also do crunches everynight. but i'm getting this belly and i really wanna be able to get rid of it...how can i do that since i can't run??? **i do have a tredmill if running is the ONLY option...i'd really like some others to tho

ok well i have been deprest for a year now but i also self harm i cut,bang my head and bit my self i di all this because it helps releave all the pain but fot the past 3days i havent eaten or drank anythin because the site of it makes my heave and be sick i dont know what to do anymore please help i am femail aged 18.

please note that i have dyslexia and have looked over it again

Don't worry about the dyslexia, I won't judge you on that. You have to ask yourself "why" do you do it. According to some, to stop self harming, you can attach an elastic band around your wrist and flick it when you feel the need to self harm. But I think that sucks. Anyway, I don't know the route cause of it but it's not good that you do that and the best thing is to stop..easier said than done..I know.

my friend abby is in the tenth grade, and her older sister and boyfriend just commited suicide together on saturday(nov.5) and today..abby wasnt at school (no suprise) how long do you think it will be until abby comes back? abby is the kind of person that if she's really depressed she'll start cutting herself... how can i tell (besides the odvious cut scars)if she has?, what can i do to comfort her, (i only see her in latin, because i sit behind her, and she's a couple grades older than me, so i dont see her after school) i just dont want to make things worse for her. she's a really great person, but a little misunderstood by adults... HELP!!! any advice or help will get you a 5 cause i dont know what to do!

Hey, listen, I'm not bothered about the rating but I think you should write a letter to her, saying that you will be there for her no matter what. Distinguishing self harm marks/scars may be difficult but you don't necessarily need to prove it, just make sure she has your support.

Okay, so I'm dreading next week. Its the 5th anniversary of my dad's death. And for this last month it seems like everything i look at or touch reminds me of him and i just break down crying...but its been five years i mean im almost 18 i shouldnt be acting like im 5, right? I have the support of my boyfriend, but my family isn't here to support me, they dont and havent liked me since the day my dad passed away. I'm not thinking about hurting myself in anyways...its just that my heart hurts terribly...is this normal?

There is such thing as a "broken heart" and it's more serious than "my bf broke up with me" kinda broken heart. I'm really sorry to hear about your father, things like this happen and even after 5 years, I don't think you're acting like a 5 year old, you're emotional and that's fine. You don't need an excuse to cry, it's better to cry than to bottle it up. I guess it's about coming to reality with everything, you loved your father I'm sure and he loved you. It hurts. I know. Be strong...

I am a 19 year old female who has dated a lot of immature 18-21 year olds. I joined an online dating site recently, just because I thought it would be fun. Well, now I seem to be drawing myself towards older men, such as 30 year olds. I suppose it's because of their maturity level, financial stability, and experience.

Would this be socially acceptable for me to have a relationship with a 30 year old, or a bit taboo? How would others perceive us? What should I consider before dating an older man? What sort of problems may we encounter in our relationship? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Society, society, society. Why care about society. If 'x' and 'y' fall in love, who cares about anyone but them? I personally think it's a good chance to meet other people but not necessarily people who will be perfect for a relationship.

my mother and I had something really exciting happen, we got published in a feature article for Woman's World Magazine a while back. It's a national magazine and quite popular.
Well anyways everyone was really happy for us except for my boyfriend.
When the article came out he told me he never saw it or even bought a copy. He didnt congradulate me or anything. I didnt talk about anymore but then one day I brought it up and he just snapped at me.
I thought he would be happy for me. What's his problem?

Jealousy perhaps? Or maybe he just is stubborn and you haven't seen that side of him before. I'd suggest to talk to him about why he snapped, talking is good in a relationship!

Please help,

I broke up with my girlfriend about 6 months ago, and I have been depressed ever since. About 1 month ago I ran into her and I have made numerous attempts by calling her way too much and going over to her house to try and talk to her but she does not want to see me. "I broke off the relationship". She is seeing an older man in his late 50's I am 31 and she is 36. What should I do.

Awwww! Well, firstly, you obviously hurt her but I doubt that was intentional. Why not write her a handwritten letter and post it through the door. Just be sweet.
